This paper describes the layer-2-security functions of two narrow-band power line communication standards, namely ITU-T G.9903 and IEEE 1901.2. We describe how access control, authentication, confidentiality and integrity for network devices are achieved in both standards. We compare the approaches by using two practice-oriented installation scenarios and by evaluating the security methods.

چکیده فارسی:

این مقاله توابع امنیتی دو لایه ی استانداردهای ارتباطات خط برق باند باریک، یعنی ITU-T G.9903 و IEEE 1901.2 را تشریح می کند. ما نشان می دهیم که کنترل دسترسی، احراز هویت، محرمانگی و یکپارچگی برای دستگاه های شبکه به چه نحو از این دو استاندارد به دست می آیند. ما این روش ها را با استفاده از دو سناریوی نصب عمل گرا و با ارزیابی روش های امنیتی مقایسه می کنیم.
