Introduction: Medical quality indicators (QI) are important tools in the evaluation of medical quality. Their development is subject to specific methodological requirements, which include practical applicability. This is especially true for intensive care medicine with its complex processes and their interactions. This methods paper presents the status quo and shows necessary methodological developments for intensive care QI. For this purpose, a cooperation with the Association of the Scientific Medical Societies’ Institute for Medical Knowledge Management (AWMF- IMWi) was established.
Methodology: Review of published German manuals for QI development from guidelines and narrative review of quality indicators with a focus on evidence and consensus-based guideline recommendations. Future methodological adaptations of indicator development for improved op- erationalization, measurability and pilot testing are presented, and a development process is proposed.
Results: The development of intensive care quality indicators in Germany is based on an established process. In the future, additional evaluation criteria (QUALIFY criteria) will be applied to assess the evidence base. In addition, a continuous exchange between the national steering committee of the DIVI responsible for QI development and guideline development groups involved in intensive care medicine is planned.
Conclusion: Intensive care quality indicators will have to meet improved methodological requirements in the future by means of an improved development process. Future QI development is intended to improve the structure of the development process, with a focus on scientific evidence and a link to guideline projects. This is intended to achieve the goal of a broad application of QI and to further evaluate its relevance for patient outcome and performance of institutions.

مقدمه: شاخص های کیفیت پزشکی (QI) ابزار مهمی در ارزیابی کیفیت پزشکی هستند. توسعه آنها منوط به الزامات روش شناختی خاصی است که شامل کاربرد عملی است. این امر به ویژه در مورد پزشکی مراقبت های ویژه با فرآیندهای پیچیده و تعامل آنها صادق است. این مقاله روش‌ها وضعیت موجود را ارائه می‌کند و پیشرفت‌های روش‌شناختی لازم را برای QI مراقبت‌های ویژه نشان می‌دهد. برای این منظور،همکاری با انجمن مجمع علمی پزشکی موسسه مدیریت دانش پزشکی (AWMFIMWI) برقرار شد.
روش‌شناسی: کتاب‌های راهنمای آلمانی منتشر شده برای توسعه QI از دستورالعمل‌ها و بررسی روایی شاخص‌های کیفیت با تمرکز بر شواهد و توصیه‌های دستورالعمل مبتنی بر اجماع بررسی شدند. سازگاری‌های روش‌شناختی آینده توسعه شاخص برای عملیاتی‌سازی بهبودیافته، قابلیت اندازه‌گیری و قابلیت آزمایشی ارائه شده است، و یک فرآیند توسعه پیشنهاد شده است.
یافته‌ها: توسعه شاخص‌های کیفیت مراقبت‌های ویژه در آلمان بر اساس یک فرآیند تعیین‌شده است. در آینده، معیارهای ارزیابی اضافی (معیارهای QUALIFY) برای ارزیابی پایه شواهد اعمال خواهد شد. علاوه بر این، یک تبادل مستمر بین کمیته راهبری ملی DIVI مسئول توسعه QI و گروه‌های توسعه دستورالعمل درگیر در پزشکی مراقبت‌های ویژه برنامه‌ریزی شده است.
نتیجه‌گیری: شاخص‌های کیفیت مراقبت‌های ویژه باید با نیازهای روش‌شناختی بهبودیافته در آینده با استفاده از فرآیند توسعه بهبودیافته برآورده شوند. توسعه QI آینده برای بهبود ساختار فرآیند توسعه، با تمرکز بر شواهد علمی و پیوند با پروژه‌های راهنما در نظر گرفته شده است. این هدف برای دستیابی به هدف کاربرد گسترده QI و ارزیابی بیشتر ارتباط آن با نتیجه بیمار و عملکرد مؤسسات است.
