1 Hubris syndrome in the relationship between School-Heads and Board-Chairs in private commercial secondary schools in Botswana: Implications for school leadership
This paper explored two issues as follows: (a) whether hubris syndromes have manifested in the leadership behaviour and working relationships of the school heads and board chairs in private commercial secondary schools; and (b) the implications of these findings for school leadership. The participants of the study were the school-heads and board-chairs working in 10 commercial private secondary schools located in the urban and peri-urban areas of Gaborone, Botswana. These schools were selected conveniently, based on the willingness of the school-head/board-chair to participate, the ownership structure, and the duration of the school-head/board-chair joint working relationship. Documents such as reports and newsletters were the main data sources. These were analyzed using content analysis and frequency counts. The findings revealed elements of hubris in the leaders’ correspondences. Among the board-chairs, the symptoms of hubris included excessive confidence whereas, among the school-heads, the symptoms of hubris included an identification with the organisation. One factor that may account for these finding is the ownership arrangement of the private schools. Many had the board chair as the owners. Various implications for school leadership have been discussed.

2 An integrated big data analytics-enabled transformation model: Application to health care
A big data analytics-enabled transformation model based on practice-based view is developed, which reveals the causal relationships among big data analytics capabilities, IT-enabled transformation practices, benefit dimensions, and business values. This model was then tested in healthcare setting. By analyzing big data implementation cases, we sought to understand how big data analytics capabilities transform organizational practices, thereby generating potential benefits. In addition to conceptually defining four big data analytics capabilities, the model offers a strategic view of big data analytics. Three significant path-to-value chains were identified for healthcare organizations by applying the model, which provides practical insights for managers.

3 Supply chain social sustainability: Standard adoption practices in Portuguese manufacturing firms
Firms are increasingly under pressure to incorporate social sustainability practices into their operations and supply chain management strategies. The purpose of this research is to develop a taxonomy of the supply chain social sustainability (SCSS) practices adopted by firms. The methodology involves two steps. First, the taxonomy is built based on literature review. Second, our empirical analysis, using non-financial (sustainability) reports with a sample of 55 listed companies, identifies standard adoption practices. We used content analysis software to unearth the influential words in the sustainability reports from different industries, sizes, and geographical regions. The content analysis reveals three different themes that provide a snapshot of how Portuguese firms integrate social sustainability into their supply chain and operations. Firms emphasize diverse facets of social sustainability practices in upstream and downstream supply chain based on different industries. The results assume significance and provide unique insights on adoption practices to supply chain practitioners who otherwise have no information on what constitutes supply chain social sustainability in this region.

5 Halal culinary and tourism marketing strategies on government websites: A preliminary analysis
In the present study, the use of the internet to promote Halal cuisines and culinary tourism is compared and contrasted through content analysis method of investigation of the national tourism bureaus of China, South Korea, Japan and Thailand on their official websites. It was found that Japan, South Korea and Thailand attempted to strategize their countrys potential as a preferred Halal tourism destination for Muslim tourists by introducing and promoting Halal cuisines, Halal food culture, Halal food restaurants and general Halal services of interest for Muslims. However, the same was not observed in the case of China, which dealt with the issue of religion as an ethnic issue in its culinary tourism strategies. The findings furnished by the present study accommodate both the perspectives of the industry and the research by providing a framework for essential website dimensions for the promotion of Halal culinary tourism and additional Halal services.

6 Understanding the historical institutional context by using content analysis of local policy and planning documents: Assessing the interactions between tourism and landscape on the Island of Terschelling in the Wadden Sea Region
Content analysis is a valuable tool to identify changes in policy. By analysing historical documents, policymakers and planners can improve their understanding of the institutional context in which decisions were made. Using the Island of Terschelling in the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden region of the northern Netherlands as our example, we show how content analysis can be used to understand the historical institutional context. We analysed policy and planning documents from 1945 to 2015, which was supported by semi-structured interviews with local key informants. We specifically considered tourism–landscape interactions. Although there were fluctuations between socio-economic development and nature protection over time, we found that there has been an increasing awareness of synergy. Synergies are crucial to balance nature protection with socio-economic development and to increase the social-ecological resilience of regions. We conclude that, by using content analysis, local documents can be used as a proxy for the institutional context.

7 Augmented reality for STEM learning: A systematic review
This study presents a systematic review of the literature on the use of augmented reality technology to support science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) learning. It synthesizes a set of 28 publications from 2010 to 2017. A qualitative content analysis is used to investigate the general characteristics of augmented reality applications in STEM education, the instructional strategies and techniques deployed in the studies reviewed, and the evaluation approaches followed in the interventions. This review found that most augmented reality applications for STEM learning offered exploration or simulation activities. The applications reviewed offered a number of similar design features based on digital knowledge discovery mechanisms to consume information through the interaction with digital elements. However, few studies provided students with assistance in carrying out learning activities. Most of the studies reviewed evaluated the effects of augmented reality technology in fostering students conceptual understanding, followed by those that investigated affective learning outcomes. A number of suggestions for future research arose from this review. Researchers need to design features that allow students to acquire basic competences related with STEM disciplines, and future applications need to include metacognitive scaffolding and experimental support for inquiry-based learning activities. Finally, it would be useful to explore how augmented reality learning activities can be part of blended instructional strategies such as the flipped classroom.

8 Meeting planners online reviews of destination hotels: A twofold content analysis approach
This study employed a combined approach of automated and manual content analysis to provide an understanding of online meeting planners reviews. The dual analysis with 696 online reviews of 173 hotels located in multiple destinations identified both quantitative and qualitative aspects of text data. Identified themes, text characteristics, online review dimensions, positive and negative areas, and newly emerged attributes provide practical implications for hoteliers and meeting destination marketers. The proposed framework offers insights to understand and respond to meeting planners online reviews, as well as the basis for hotel evaluation criteria. Overall results expand our understanding of meeting planners’ destination hotel experience and fill gaps in our knowledge of online guest reviews by differentiating those of meeting planners from those of general travelers.

9 Using big data database to construct new GFuzzy text mining and decision algorithm for targeting and classifying customers
After an enterprise builds a data warehouse, it can record information related to customer interactions using structured and unstructured data. The intention is to convert these data into useful information for decision making to ensure business continuity. Hence, this study proposes a new Chinese text classification model for the project management office (PMO) using fuzzy semantics and text mining techniques. First, content analysis is performed on the unstructured data to convert important textual information and compile it into a keyword index. Next, a classification and decision algorithm for grey situations and fuzzy (GFuzzy) is used to categorize textual data by three characteristics: maximum impact, moderate impact, and minimum impact. The purpose is to analyze consumer behaviors for the accurate classification of customers. Lastly, a more effective marketing strategy is formulated to target the various customer combinations, growth models, and the best mode of service. A company database of interactions with customers is used to construct a text mining model and to analyze the decision process of its PMO. The purpose is to test the feasibility and validity of the proposed model so that enterprises are provided with better marketing strategies and PMO processes aimed at their customers.

10 Dark tourism, abjection and blood: A festival context
Dark tourism and its implications have been gaining significant prominence in both the literature and in practice in the recent past. Understanding the process and outcomes of dark tourism related to tourists and local hosts can play a key role in relations between the two groups of people. This paper, utilizing long-form interview data and content analysis, examines the psychological processes of some global Jewish citizens in relation to tourism activity and local hosts surrounding historic Holocaust sites located in Eastern and Central Europe. These attribution-oriented processes, which include the group attribution error, the perseverance effect and the role of atypical information generate novel insights into social-psychological activity nested in dark tourism. Our research yields significant implications on collective memory and narrative, representation, authenticity and ownership within the context of dark tourism.
