1 Big data driven graphical information based fuzzy multi criteria decision making

Graphical information (visualized data, information, and knowledge generated from different investiga tions and experimentations) is a useful form of decision-relevant information in all fields of study. The usages of such information are expected to increase exponentially due to the advent of big data. Unfortu nately, there are no formal methods available for directly computing the graphical information generated from big data while making a decision. This study fills this gap and presents a fuzzy logic based method, as well as a decision support tool, to perform multiple criteria decision making by directly computing the graphical information generated from big data. The effectiveness of the proposed method and tool is demonstrated by conducting a case study. Further study can be carried out to see the implication of this study in making formal decisions aided by the big data.

2 Theoretical analysis and real time implementation of a classical controller with intelligent properties

This paper presents theoretical analysis and experimental implementation of a classical controller with intelligent properties. The controller has constant parameters, but it performs as an intelligent controller. The controller design mimics the fuzzy logic controller in a classical form and combines the advantages of classical controllers and properties of intelligent controllers. The designed controller parameters force the controlled variable to behave such as a first order system with a desired time constant. DC motor practical system is used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented controller. Root locus and frequency response using Bode diagram are used to help the design of the controller parameters. Simulation and experimental results verify the high performance of the presented controller.

3 The future and social impact of Big Data Analytics in Supply Chain Management: Results from a Delphi study

The continuously growing amount of available data has accelerated the emergence of numerous business in telligence applications that are summarized under the term Big Data Analytics (BDA). BDA is especially relevant to the domain of Supply Chain Management (SCM) as it provides the tools to support decision-making in in creasingly global, volatile and dynamic value networks. However, its application challenges traditional in stitutional arrangements as well as roles that are related to the management of data. The underlying empirical study addresses this challenge with the application of a multi-method approach that is embedded in Organizational Information Processing Theory (OIPT). A Delphi survey was conducted to integrate expert as sessments of projections up to the year 2035 and fuzzy c-means clustering was applied to identify future sce narios that span the future of BDA in SCM. The study suggests that BDA will improve demand forecasts, reduce safety stocks and improve the management of supplier performance. However, supply chain (SC) processes will become increasingly automated and traditional tasks of SCM will be partially substituted as a result. Consequently, the transition of the traditional role of SCM within organizations will increase the importance of human intuition, trust and strategic decision-making.

4 Privacy preserving big data mining: association rule hiding using fuzzy logic approach

Recently, privacy preserving data mining has been studied widely. Association rule mining can cause potential threat toward privacy of data. So, association rule hiding techniques are employed to avoid the risk of sensitive knowledge leakage. Many researches have been done on association rule hiding, but most of them focus on proposing algorithms with least side effect for static databases (with no new data entrance), while now the authors confront with streaming data which are continuous data. Furthermore, in the age of big data, it is necessary to optimise existing methods to be executable for large volume of data. In this study, data anonymisation is used to fit the proposed model for big data mining. Besides, special features of big data such as velocity make it necessary to consider each rule as a sensitive association rule with an appropriate membership degree. Furthermore, parallelisation techniques which are embedded in the proposed model, can help to speed up data mining process.

5 Fuzzy rule-based approach for design and analysis of a Trust-based Secure Routing Protocol for MANETs
رویکرد مبتنی بر قاعده فازی برای طراحی و تجزیه و تحلیل پروتکل مسیریابی امن مبتنی بر اعتماد برای MANETs-2018
The paper proposes a fuzzy rule-based approach for design and analysis of a Trust-Based Secure Routing Protocol for MANETs (TBSRPM). Due to highly dynamic behaviour of nodes the shortest route does not necessarily guarantee a secure route. Hence stability of route is not taken into consideration as the route can be easily break in the dynamic MANETs. Thus finding a stable and trusted route is of great importance. The proposed algorithm is the extension of the existing reactive routing protocol (AODV), developed for creating secure route between sources to destination. The protocol behaviour depends on TV and LOT as well as TV decides what level of security action is required. So based on TV, the data packet is encrypted. With the help of TV, malicious nodes can be easily eliminated and we can establish a best trusted route as well. Results show that the proposed TBSRP enhances MANETs.

6 Clustering model of cloud centers for big data processing

In order to solve the problems of efficient functioning of cloud centers with a high degree of virtualization, by increasing the life cycle of physical machines, in the conditions of group How of tasks or processing of flows of type Big Data, we propose a new algorithm for clustering and selection of the main cluster node using fuzzy logic and Voronoi diagrams. Criteria for the selection of the main node of the cluster are the centrality of the Voronoi diagrams, residual energy, and availability of free resources of physical machines.

7 A Fuzzy Decision in Smart Fire and Home Security System

There has been a major rise in the fire incidents occurring over the past few years in the Pacific Island Countries (PICs) and especially property fires are a major concern. Often it is noticed that these usually lead to loss of homes, personal belongings and even lives of people. Objective of this paper to present a monitoring device that is able to detect the presence of a gas leak and take action before there is an actual fire. To optimize the decision of the system, a fuzzy logic based smart rules are developed to avoid false alarming. The prototype system is designed considering cost, simplicity and reliability. Further, the proposed system helps to reduce fire accident by triggering alarm well-in advance and therefore it can react as an early warning system.© 2016 The Authors. 8 An overview on the roles of fuzzy set techniques in big data processing: Trends, challenges and opportunities
مروری بر نقش تکنیک های مجموعه فازی در پردازش داده های بزرگ: روندها، چالش ها و فرصت-2017
In the era of big data, we are facing with an immense volume and high velocity of data with complex structures. Data can be produced by online and offline transactions, social networks, sensors and through our daily life activities. A proper processing of big data can result in informative, intelligent and relevant decision making completed in various areas, such as medical and healthcare, business, management and government. To handle big data more efficiently, new research paradigm has been engaged but the ways of thinking about big data call for further long-term innovative pursuits. Fuzzy sets have been employed for big data processing due to their abilities to represent and quantify aspects of uncertainty. Several innovative approaches within the framework of Granular Computing have been proposed. To summarize the current contributions and present an outlook of further developments, this overview addresses three aspects: (1) We review the recent studies from two distinct views. The first point of view focuses on what types of fuzzy set techniques have been adopted. It identifies clear trends as to the usage of fuzzy sets in big data processing. Another viewpoint focuses on the explanation of the benefits of fuzzy sets in big data problems. We analyze when and why fuzzy sets work in these problems. (2) We present a critical review of the existing problems and discuss the current challenges of big data, which could be potentially and partially solved in the framework of fuzzy sets. (3) Based on some principles, we infer the possible trends of using fuzzy sets in big data processing. We stress that some more sophisticated augmentations of fuzzy sets and their integrations with other tools could offer a novel promising processing environment.

9 مدل جدید بازیابی اطلاعات بر اساس سند فازی به منظور پیش بینی

سیستم های بازیابی اطلاعات عموما به منظور یافتن اسنادی به کار برده می شوند که به صورت بسیار مناسب از سوی کاربران به صورتی پویا به وجود می آیند. در این مقاله یک مدل جدید بازیابی اطلاعات بر اساس سند فازی (FDIRM ), به منظور دستیابی به هدف پیش بینی شاخص بازار سهام پیشنهاد شده است. نوآوری مربوط به روش پیشنهادی یک طرح نمره دهی اصلاح شده ی tf-idf برای پیش بینی روند آینده ی مربوط به شاخص بورس سهام به کار برده می شود. سهم این مقاله در رابطه با این قضیه از دو جهت قابل بررسی است: 1) در سیستم پیشنهادی , سری زمانی ساده به سری زمانی منطقی فازی غنی شده به همراه یک رویکرد منحصر به فرد از ترکیب احساسات مرتبط با اطلاعات با در نظر گرفتن قیمت تبدیل می شود. 2) یک روش منحصر به فرد زمانی دنبال می شود که با استفاده از مدل سازی سیستم بازیابی اطلاعات ( IR ) یک سیستم ساده ی IR را به سیستم پیش بینی کننده تبدیل می نماید. همچنین مقا یسه ی کارایی FDIRM به همراه مدل استاندارد معیار صورت می پذیرد.مدل استاندارد معیار به اثبات این قضیه می پردازد که وجود مدل پیشنهادی به منظور تبدیل شدن به یک مدل پیشنهادی خوب ضروری است.
داده های بازار سرمایه به وسیله ی شاخص نزولی استاندارد و فقیر 50 (شاخص 50- CNX NIFTY ) بورس اوراق بهادار ملی هندوستان (NSE ) فراهم گشته است که برای آزمایش و تعیین اعتبار مدل پیشنهادی به کار برده می شوند. داده ی معتبر به منظور اعتبار سنجی و آزمایش از طریق سایت gttp://www.nseindia.com که یک وب سایت رسمی مربوط به NSE می باشد به دست می آید. یک برنامه ی جاوا به منظور اجرای مدل در زمان واقعی به همراه رابط کاربری گرافیکی ساخته می شود.

10 An intelligent integrated control of hybrid hot air-infrared dryer based on fuzzy logic and computer vision system

In this study, an intelligent fuzzy-machine vision control system (FMCS) was developed to control the operating variables throughout a hybrid hot air-infrared drying process. The total discoloration and the shrinkage of thin layer kiwifruit slices were monitored in real time using a computer vision system (CVS). These values along with calculated energy consumption obtained from preliminary experiments, were fed into a genetic algorithm (GA) framework to optimize a fuzzy logic control system. The perfor- mance of the fuzzy controller was evaluated for kiwifruit drying using a laboratory-scale hot air-infrared dryer. The results indicated that the hybrid drying could significantly reduce the drying load/time com- pared with the hot air drying. The FMCS application showed a good balance between energy consumption (0.158 kW h) and product quality (DE = 2.32).© 2017 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
