1 Conceptual frameworks for social and cultural Big Data analytics: Answering the epistemological challenge

This paper aims to contribute to the development of tools to support an analysis of Big Data as manifestations of social processes and human behaviour. Such a task demands both an understanding of the epistemological challenge posed by the Big Data phenomenon and a critical assessment of the offers and promises coming from the area of Big Data analytics. This paper draws upon the critical social and data scientists’ view on Big Data as an epistemological challenge that stems not only from the sheer volume of digital data but, predominantly, from the proliferation of the narrow-technological and the positivist views on data. Adoption of the social-scientific epistemological stance presupposes that digital data was conceptualised as manifestations of the social. In order to answer the epistemological challenge, social scientists need to extend the repertoire of social scientific theories and conceptual frameworks that may inform the analysis of the social in the age of Big Data. However, an ‘epistemological revolution’ discourse on Big Data may hinder the integration of the social scientific knowledge into the Big Data analytics.

2 A new architecture of Internet of Things and big data ecosystem for secured smart healthcare monitoring and alerting system

Wearable medical devices with sensor continuously generate enormous data which is often called as big data mixed with structured and unstructured data. Due to the complexity of the data, it is difficult to process and analyze the big data for finding valuable information that can be useful in decision making. On the other hand, data security is a key requirement in healthcare big data system. In order to overcome this issue, this paper proposes a new architecture for the implementation of IoT to store and process scalable sensor data (big data) for health care applications. The Proposed architecture consists of two main sub architectures, namely, Meta Fog-Redirection (MF-R) and Grouping and Choosing (GC) architecture. MF-R architecture uses big data technologies such as Apache Pig and Apache HBase for collection and storage of the sensor data (big data) generated from different sensor devices. The proposed GC architecture is used for securing integration of fog computing with cloud computing. This architecture also uses key management service and data categorization function (Sensitive, Critical and Normal) for providing security services. The framework also uses MapReduce based prediction model to predict the heart diseases. Performance evaluation parameters such as throughput, sensitivity, accuracy, and f-measure are calculated to prove the efficiency of the proposed architecture as well as the prediction model.

3 تاثير شیوه های بازاريابي الكترونيك بر عملكرد فروش شرکت های هدایت شده توسط جوانان در شهرستان نكورو، كنيا

آمارها نشان می دهد که در کنیا، سه شرکت از پنج شرکت تحت مدیریت جوانان در سه سال اول عملیاتش شکست خورده است و 80 درصد از آنها تا سال پنجم شکست خورده اند. ارتباطات بازاریابی از طریق ابزارهای معمول ممکن است برای چنین شرکت هایی هزینه داشته باشد و در نتیجه میزان شکست آنها افزایش می یابد. یک روش جایگزین ارزان تر برای بازاریابی ؛ بازاریابی الکترونیکی است. با این حال، جوانان مدیر این شرکت ها ممکن است از این رسانه ها استفاده نکنند. از این رو ، این مطالعه به بررسی تاثیر روش های بازاریابی الکترونیکی بر عملکرد فروش شرکت های هدایت شده بوسیله جوانان در ناکورو کنیا می پردازد. این مطالعه یک طرح تحقیقاتی توصیفی را اتخاذ کرد. جمعیت هدف 3،363 شرکت ثبت شده مدیریت شده بوسیله جوانان در ناحیه ناکورو و 385 نفر از پاسخگویان به روش نمونه گیری تصادفی طبقه ای انتخاب شدند. برای جمع آوری داده ها از یک پرسشنامه پیش آزمون ساختار یافته استفاده شد. برای تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها از آمار توصیفی شامل توزیع فراوانی و کای دو استفاده شد، در حالیکه تجزیه و تحلیل رگرسیون چندگانه برای آزمون رابطه بین متغیر مستقل و وابسته استفاده شد. این تحقیق نشان می دهد که سطح بالا در استفاده از شیوه های بازاریابی الکترونیکی در بین جوانان هدایت کننده شرکت ها در ناکورو کنیا وجود دارد. همچنین تأیید کرد که ارتباطات آنلاین، تبلیغات و ارتباطات رسانه ای تاثیرات مثبتی بر عملکرد فروش شرکت های تحت رهبری جوانان دارد، اما تنها ارتباطات رسانه های اجتماعی تاثیر قابل توجهی دارد. در این مطالعه توصیه شده است که شرکت های تحت رهبری جوانان باید استفاده از خرید آنلاین، تبلیغات اینترنتی و ارتباطات رسانه های اجتماعی را افزایش دهند، و بر مبنای آن عملکرد فروش را افزایش دهند.

4 Text Mining Based on Tax Comments as Big Data Analysis Using SVM and Feature Selection

The tax gives an important role for the contributions of the economy and development of a country. The improvements to the taxation service system continuously done in order to increase the State Budget. One of consideration to know the performance of taxation particularly in Indonesia is to know the public opinion as for the object service. Text mining can be used to know public opinion about the tax system. The rapid growth of data in social media initiates this research to use the data source as big data analysis. The dataset used is derived from Facebook and Twitter as a source of data in processing tax comments. The results of opinions in the form of public sentiment in part of service, website system, and news can be used as consideration to improve the quality of tax services. In this research, text mining is done through the phases of text processing, feature selection and classification with Support Vector Machine (SVM). To reduce the problem of the number of attributes on the dataset in classifying text, Feature Selection used the Information Gain to select the relevant terms to the tax topic. Testing is used to measure the performance level of SVM with Feature Selection from two data sources. Performance measured using the parameters of precision, recall, and Fmeasure.

5 Food Trend Based on Social Media for Big Data Analysis Using K-Mean Clustering and SAW

tracking customer preferences is an important aspect of business success. Having information on hand about most favorite food is a key success for everyone who takes apart in the culinary business. Exact sales data on certain food is hardly available to the public. Restaurant owner tends to keep their data for their own business strategy. Therefore, generating a food trend in a certain community is hardly possible using food sales data. This paper discussed extracting food general trend from social media, with the case study on Twitter data with a certain regional area of interest. Social media provides a tremendous amount of data including people choice of food when they visit the certain place. However, the available data is unstructured in human language. The challenge is twofold: to grasp the meaning and extract the relevant information to the food trends. We proposed a bag of words technique to gather relevant information in the Indonesian language for feature extracting purpose. While K-mean Clustering and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) algorithm are proposed to draw up the food rank. In order to measure the accuracy, we compare our result with the sales data of some restaurants in Yogyakarta. We test the algorithm using 4 weeks of data, the result is compared against the available data and an accuracy of 72.75 % is achieved

6 Big data for internet of things: A survey

With the rapid development of the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data technolo gies have emerged as a critical data analytics tool to bring the knowledge within IoT infrastructures to better meet the purpose of the IoT systems and support critical decision making. Although the topic of Big Data analytics itself is ex tensively researched, the disparity between IoT domains (such as healthcare, energy, transportation and others) has isolated the evolution of Big Data ap proaches in each domain. Thus, the mutual understanding across IoT domains can possibly advance the evolution of Big Data research in IoT. In this work, we therefore conduct a survey on Big Data technologies in different IoT domains to facilitate and stimulate knowledge sharing across the IoT domains. Based on our review, this paper discusses the similarities and differences among Big Data technologies used in different IoT domains, suggests how certain Big Data technology used in one IoT domain can be re-used in another IoT domain, and develops a conceptual framework to outline the critical Big Data technologies across all the reviewed IoT domains.

7 Improving the Use of Big Data Analytics within Electronic Health Records: A Case Study based OpenEHR
بهبود استفاده از تجزیه و تحلیل داده های بزرگ در پرونده های بهداشت الکترونیکی: یک مطالعه موردی مبتنی بر OpenEHR-2018
Recently there has been an increasing adoption of electronic health records (EHRs) in different countries. Thanks to these systems, multiple health bodies can now store, manage and process their data effectively. However, the existence of such powerful and meticulous entities raise new challenges and issues for health practitioners. In fact, while the main objective of EHRs is to gain actionable big data insights from the health workflow, very few physicians exploit widely analytic tools, this is mainly due to the fact of having to deal with multiple systems and steps, which completely discourage them from engaging more and more. In this paper, we shed light and explore precisely the proper adaptation of analytical tools to EHRs in order to upgrade their use by health practitioners. For that, we present a case study of the implementation process of an EHR based OpenEHR and investigate health analytics adoption in each step of the methodology.

8 Data analysis in process of energetics resource optimization

The distribution and management of energetic resources are the source of big amount of data in structured or unstructured form. These data are collected in a targeted or a random fashion manner for the purpose of efficient distribution and management in the required timeframe. Urban as well as industrial complexes are typical environments where are generated these data. In this process, there are data that are deliberately collected in order to generate the required reporting and outputs for management decision. Input data are the basis of reporting which can have simple or detailed format. In this work we are collecting random input data with intricate structure that cannot simply interpreted and explain in relation with others. The topic of our paper is focused on the interpretation of collected data that is oriented to energetic resources in regional city. We are describing the process of data collection, data cleaning, analysis, identification of relations, informational links, visualization, and interpretation. By analysis of these data we propose information value, which can be exploited in management decision to reduce the cost of electricity and the gas there.

9 A survey towards an integration of big data analytics to big insights for value-creation

Big Data Analytics (BDA) is increasingly becoming a trending practice that generates an en ormous amount of data and provides a new opportunity that is helpful in relevant decision making. The developments in Big Data Analytics provide a new paradigm and solutions for big data sources, storage, and advanced analytics. The BDA provide a nuanced view of big data development, and insights on how it can truly create value for firm and customer. This article presents a comprehensive, well-informed examination, and realistic analysis of deploying big data analytics successfully in companies. It provides an overview of the architecture of BDA including six components, namely: (i) data generation, (ii) data acquisition, (iii) data storage, (iv) advanced data analytics, (v) data visualization, and (vi) decision-making for value-creation. In this paper, seven Vs characteristics of BDA namely Volume, Velocity, Variety, Valence, Veracity, Variability, and Value are explored. The various big data analytics tools, techniques and tech nologies have been described. Furthermore, it presents a methodical analysis for the usage of Big Data Analytics in various applications such as agriculture, healthcare, cyber security, and smart city. This paper also highlights the previous research, challenges, current status, and future di rections of big data analytics for various application platforms. This overview highlights three issues, namely (i) concepts, characteristics and processing paradigms of Big Data Analytics; (ii) the state-of-the-art framework for decision-making in BDA for companies to insight value-crea tion; and (iii) the current challenges of Big Data Analytics as well as possible future directions.

10 An extension of the technology acceptance model in the big data analytics system implementation environment

Research on the adoption of systems for big data analytics has drawn enormous attention in Information Systems research. This study extends big data analytics adoption research by ex amining the effects of system characteristics on the attitude of managers towards the usage of big data analytics systems. A research model has been proposed in this study based on an extensive review of literature pertaining to the Technology Acceptance Model, with further validation by a survey of 150 big data analytics users. Results of this survey confirm that characteristics of the big data analytics system have significant direct and indirect effects on belief in the benefits of big data analytics systems and perceived usefulness, attitude and adoption. Moreover, there are mediation effects that exist among the system characteristics, benefits of big data analytics systems, perceived usefulness and the attitude towards using big data analytics system. This study expands the existing body of knowledge on the adoption of big data analytics systems, and benefits big data analytics providers and vendors while helping in the formulation of their business models.
