در این تحقیق، یافته هایی در ارتباط با چشم انداز اجرای فناوری های تحول دیجیتال (DTT) به منظور دستیابی به فرآیندهای پایدار در تدارکات و مدیریت زنجیره تامین شرکت های تولیدی ارائه شده است.DTT می تواند از نظر بهره وری انرژی ، کاهش فواصل انتقال و توزیع و بهینه سازی منابع تدارکات بهبود یابد. این تحقیق براساس مطالعات موردی کیفی در میان تولیدکنندگان انجام شده است. به دلیل اینکه تحقیقات فعلی اغلب بر بعد اقتصادی متمرکز است، تأکید ویژه ای بر پایداری اجتماعی و محیطی شده است. نتایج نشان می دهد که استقرار DTT در تدارکات و مدیریت زنجیره تأمین به طور متوسط تأثیر مثبتی بر بعد پایداری زیست محیطی و اجتماعی دارد.

2 Firm-level capabilities towards big data value creation

Big data has played an increasingly important role in using data to improve business value. In response to several big data challenges, the purpose of this study is to identify firm-level capabilities required to create value from big data. The adjacent theories of business process management and IT business value underpinned the study, together with an in-depth case study that led to the identification of twenty-four types of capabilities related to IT, process, performance, human, strategic, and organizational practices. The findings confirmed the application of practices and capabilities of adjacent theories, as well as certain practices and attributes that were both changed and reinforced at the intersection of big data. As an outstanding additional support to the extant big data studies, this work empirically confirms and portrays hitherto unexplored capabilities of big data and set their roles, thus providing a holistic overview of firm-level capabilities that are required for big data value creation.

3 Does social capital matter for supply chain resilience? The role of absorptive capacity and marketing-supply chain management alignment

Marketing in an increasingly tumultuous marketplace requires resilience -the ability to withstand, adapt, and flourish despite turmoil and adverse change- that extends beyond firm boundaries. Although external resources are arguably essential to achieve resilience, little is known how and when firms social capital derived from interorganizational relationships can lead to supply chain resilience. Therefore, we investigate the role of absorptive capacity and marketing-supply chain management alignment in realizing the potential impact of social capital on supply chain resilience. Using data obtained from dual respondents from 265 Turkish firms, we test the mediating role of absorptive capacity and the moderating role of marketing-supply chain management alignment. Our findings indicate absorptive capacity mediates the relationship between social capital and supply chain resilience, and the links between social capital and absorptive capacity and social capital and supply chain resilience are stronger when marketing-supply chain management alignment is high. We also find that supply chain resilience is positively associated with organizational performance, empirically supporting the proposed value of supply chain resilience for firm strategy. Accordingly, our paper highlights that both absorptive capacity and marketing-supply chain management alignment are necessary to realize the actual value of social capital for supply chain resilience and ensuing performance.

4 On the use of simulation as a Big Data semantic validator for supply chain management

Simulation stands out as an appropriate method for the Supply Chain Management (SCM) field. Nevertheless, to produce accurate simulations of Supply Chains (SCs), several business processes must be considered. Thus, when using real data in these simulation models, Big Data concepts and technologies become necessary, as the involved data sources generate data at increasing volume, velocity and variety, in what is known as a Big Data context. While developing such solution, several data issues were found, with simulation proving to be more efficient than traditional data profiling techniques in identifying them. Thus, this paper proposes the use of simulation as a semantic validator of the data, proposed a classification for such issues and quantified their impact in the volume of data used in the final achieved solution. This paper concluded that, while SC simulations using Big Data concepts and technologies are within the grasp of organizations, their data models still require considerable improvements, in order to produce perfect mimics of their SCs. In fact, it was also found that simulation can help in identifying and bypassing some of these issues.

5 هوش مصنوعی برای پیش بینی در مدیریت زنجیره تامین: مطالعه موردی میزان مصرف قند سفید در تایلند

این مقاله یک مدل مناسب برای پیش بینی روند میزان مصرف شکر سفید در تایلند با توجه به نوسانات نرخ مصرف امروزه ارائه می دهد. در این مقاله روی دو نوع مدل اصلی پیش بینی که مدل های رگرسیون و شبکه های عصبی هستند ، تمرکز خواهد شد. علاوه بر این ، عملکرد با استفاده از Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) و مقدار آماری TheilU ارزیابی می شود. پس از پردازش آزمایشات ، نتایج نشان می دهد که شبکه عصبی راجعه با حافظه کوتاه مدت (LSTM) با شرایط ترکیبی بین میزان مصرف موجود و سایر عوامل مرتبط مانند تأمین تولید ، میزان واردات ، صادرات و موجودی کالا بهترین عملکرد را برای پیش بینی فراهم می کند. همچنین تنظیم پارامترهای مدل مسئله مهمی است.

6 Which governance structures drive economic, environmental, and social upgrading? A quantitative analysis in the assembly industries

As industries are becoming increasingly global, researchers and practitioners are compelled to look at supply chains (SCs) from a global perspective. In this respect, the Global Value Chain (GVC) framework is particularly useful in understanding global dynamics because it relates the nature of relationships between firms (governance) to the possibilities for firms to move toward higher value-added activities (upgrading). Whereas the literature to date has explored these issues via qualitative approaches, this paper explores the effect that different forms of governance with suppliers and customers have on economic (product, process, functional), environmental and social upgrading based on an analysis of the International Manufacturing Strategy Survey (IMSS) data. The results show that participating to GVCs supports only some forms of upgrading and only under specific governance structures.

7 Supply chain coordination with customer returns and retailers store brand product

We examine a retailers Stackelberg supply chain, in which the retailer sells a product in the two brands: its own store brand (SB) and a national brand (NB) supplied by a well-established manufacturer. The two brands both face customer returns, and they differ in product quality. We examine the retailers decision on returns policies for the two brands (either Money Back Guarantee (MBG) or No Refund) and the effects of returns policies on the competition between the two brands. We identify the condition when the retailer should offer MBGs for both brands and we show that MBGs mitigate price competition between the two brands. MBGs are found to enhance the retailers profit and reduce the NB manufacturers profit. We examine coordination mechanisms and find that a centralized supply chain intensifies the competition and pushes the NB to reduce its retail price. A simple coordination contract that can achieve supply chain coordination to ensure a win-win for both the retailer and the NB manufacturer is proposed.

8 A supply chain coordination mechanism for common items subject to failure in the electronics, defense, and medical industries

Prior research on inventory management for imperfect items assumes that such items can be dealt with through salvage or rework. Increased repair costs and decreased production costs arising from modern production processes (e.g. miniaturization, 3D printing), however, have led suppliers to increasingly eschew such solutions in favor of items and components which are discarded upon failure rather than being reworked or scrapped. In this paper, we first determine optimal supplier and buyer inventory policies for items which fail and which cannot be reworked. We then develop a supply chain coordination mechanism which uses a common replenishment time to coordinate a supply chain consisting of a single supplier and n buyers. Our coordination mechanism yields a global minimum for system-wide costs. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate important conditions under which our model is particularly effective at reducing system-wide costs.

9 Big data analytics in supply chain management between 2010 and 2016: Insights to industries

This paper investigates big data analytics research and application in supply chain management between 2010 and 2016 and provides insights to industries. In recent years, the amount of data produced from end-to-end supply chain management practices has increased exponentially. Moreover, in current competitive environment supply chain professionals are struggling in handling the huge data. They are surveying new techniques to investigate how data are produced, captured, organized and analyzed to give valuable insights to industries. Big Data analytics is one of the best techniques which can help them in overcoming their problem. Realizing the promising benefits of big data analytics in the supply chain has motivated us to write a review on the im portance/impact of big data analytics and its application in supply chain management. First, we discuss big data analytics individually, and then we discuss the role of big data analytics in supply chain management (supply chain analytics). Current research and application are also explored. Finally, we outline the insights to in dustries. Observations and insights from this paper could provide the guideline for academia and practitioners in implementing big data analytics in different aspects of supply chain management.

10 The lean and resilient management of the supply chain and its impact on performance

The relationship between lean management and resilience in the supply chain, whether negative or positive, is still not clear from the existing literature. This paper aims to investigate the relationship and links between lean and resilient supply chain (SC) practices and their impact on SC performance. To achieve this objective, the aerospace manufacturing sector (AMS) is chosen as the study sector because of the importance of both paradigms. Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) approach is used in order to identify linkages among various lean and resilience practices and SC performance metrics through a single systemic framework. ISM is an interactive learning process based on graph theory where experts knowledge is extracted and converted into a powerful well-structured model. For that purpose, a heterogeneous panel of experts in the AMS was formed, providing a complete view of all SC levels in the sector. The final ISM model revealed that lean SC practices act as drivers for resilient SC practices, since implementing the former in isolation could lead to a more vulnerable SC. The findings also show that lean SC practices lead to a higher performance improvement than resilient SC practices. This is due to the fact that resilient SC practices do not exert influence over all SC performance metrics as it occurs with lean SC practices. In addition, several managerial implications regarding the most convenient practices in terms of the companys objectives are drawn from this study.
