1 The politics behind scientific knowledge: Sustainable forest management in Latin America
سیاست پشت دانش علمی: مدیریت جنگل پایدار در آمریکای لاتین-2021
Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) seeks to achieve an equilibrium in the economic, social and environ- mental value of all types of forests. This practice contrasts with the conventional view of managing forests, in which the focus is productivity. Thus, discussions about conventional forest management versus sustainable forest management play a central role in the political and scientific agendas. However, knowledge production and its direction can be biased by different contextual factors such as the way funding is assigned by each country, institutional priorities, and constraints on international cooperation. With this paper, we aim to analyze the contribution of scientific knowledge produced in Latin America within the sustainable forest management research landscape by applying a literature review method (Scopus database for 2015–2018 period). Our results show a similar contribution of national and foreign funds and institutions supporting scientific knowledge about SFM in Latin America. Foreign funding comes mainly from United States of America, and Europe. Latin American authors lead high proportion of scientific articles, and authorship gender was more equitable between male and female researchers. The studies were mostly focused on conservation combined with productivity goals, as well as pure conservation goals, although social studies and restoration goals were also present. Our findings highlight a significant contribution to the paradigm shift in half of the scientific articles. Some studies provided recom- mendations (specific or general) derived from their results, but we did not detected a clear relationship with funding origin. Moreover, we found that the high contribution to the paradigm shift (studies supporting SFM instead of traditional management) came from institutions based in Latin America. This article aims to contribute to discussions related to scientific funding in Latin America, the North-South scientific relations, and the future of forest in times of climate change.

2 Uncovering research streams on agri-food supply chain management: A bibliometric study
کشف جریانهای تحقیق در مورد مدیریت زنجیره تأمین مواد غذایی کشاورزی: یک مطالعه کتابشناختی-2021
This study carried out a bibliometric analysis to critically review the evolution of the agri-food supply chain (AFSC) research field over the period of 2008–2019. A set of 1236 articles was analyzed from the Web of Science database. Besides using different analytical scientometric tools (topic mapping, co-citation, co-authorship and overlay visualization networks), this study identified frequently-used keywords, new and hot research topics and frequently-studied supply chain management (SCM) practices. Frequently used keywords are food supply chain, food waste, sustainability, food safety, SCM, food industry, and food security. New research themes include contract, blockchain, internet of things, resilience, and short food supply chain, a topic that demands further research especially due to the international COVID-19 pandemic and the need of farmers to be closer to the consumers. Hot research topics, that is, subjects that have been studied in highly cited papers were also identified include life cycle assessment, environmental impact, packaging, water use, food waste prevention, food waste generation, blockchain and carbon footprint. Among SCM practices, this study observed that risk and sustainable SCM are frequently used keywords. Procurement and reverse logistics were observed in fewer studies. SCM, food waste, food quality, GHG emissions and risk management are sustainable SCM practices frequently observed.

3 The validity of management accounting language games – A pragmatic constructive perspective
اعتبار بازی های زبان حسابداری مدیریت - یک دیدگاه سازنده عمل گرایانه-2021
To support the development of a pragmatic practice-based theory for management accounting, practice theory offers valuable avenues for understanding the development, role, and effects of tools and techniques used by practitioners. Scholars have identified communication as a critical dimension for analysis, as discourse can govern the production of knowledge and power structures. However, previous research has mainly focused on the role of actors within static environments; how actors justify their actions and goals, compared with other actors; and how they are aligned with or justify new practices relative to existing practices. The pragmatic constructivist framework that underpins this special issue builds on this research but recognises that previous research has paid little attention to how people—when interacting within a dynamic environment—develop and create new types of constructive causality. Importantly, the necessary conditions for people’s actions to construct what they intend to remain largely unexplored. Pragmatic constructivism is founded on the recognition that any theory of management accounting must include conceptual devices representing the notion of success, as well as techniques for evaluating the truth aptness of local practices of reality construction, such as those represented by managemen accounting. This special issue aims to theoretically and empirically explore the potential in management accounting for the measurement and governance of constructed causality. The central topic is the role of management accounting in supporting individual and collective actors to effectively construct causal chains that make organisations work. The three articles in this special issue adopt different approaches to combining the pragmatic constructivist framework with additional theoretical frameworks, as well as using different research methodologies. The papers’ findings point to the importance of co-authorship in the creation of functioning organisational practices, and suggest that this might be threatened by information technology. Co-authorship involves language games in the form of dialogical interaction between the accountants and other involved actors. This process develops a shared understanding anchored in a fusion of conceptual models that is tied to individual collaborators’ local practice.

4 Authorial control of the Supreme Court: Chief Justice Roberts and the Obamacare surprise
کنترل مقامات دیوان عالی: رابرتز رئیس دادگستری و شگفتی اوباماکر-2020
This article models the interaction of key factors missed in most accounts of Supreme Court decision making – that is, the interaction of the rules of authorship (chief and senior justice authorship rights), authorship utility (in terms of justice reputation, and the chief justice’s legacy), and the constraint of legal doctrines. We model how (1) the chief justices and senior median justices compete for case authorship and have incentives to vote for policy outcomes they do not prefer in order to gain authorship control of the Court’s opinion (and the added reputation and legacy utility that comes with authorship), and (2) legal doctrines may enhance or restrict such behavior. We illustrate the model through a stylized account of the Supreme Court’s 2012 “Obamacare” decision where the deciding vote of Chief Justice Roberts to uphold Obamacare (along with his authorship of the opinion), and the dissenting vote of Justice Kennedy to repeal Obamacare, follow the implications of our model rather than the counter expectations of Supreme Court experts and commentators at the time. The model has implications for interpreting justice voting and authorship behavior and how the design of legal doctrines influence the justices’ votes and opinion authorship.

5 An edge creation history retrieval based method to predict links in social networks
یک روش مبتنی بر بازیابی تاریخچه ایجاد لبه برای پیش بینی پیوندها در شبکه های اجتماعی-2020
Link prediction is a graph mining task that aims to foretell whether pairs of non-linked nodes will connect in the future. It has many useful applications in social networks such as friend recommendation, identification of future collaborations between authors in co-authorship networks, discovery of hidden groups of terrorists and criminals, among others. In general, the state-of-the-art link prediction methods consider topological data extracted from the current state (i.e., the most recent and available snapshot) of a network. They do not take into account information that describes how the network’s topology was at the moments when the existing edges were created. Hence, those methods take the chance to disregard information about the circumstances that may have influenced the appearance of old edges, and that could be useful to predict the creation of new ones. Thus, this study raises and evaluates the hypothesis that recovering such data may contribute to improving link prediction. This hypothesis is justified since those data enrich the description of the application’s context with examples that represent exactly the kind of event to be foreseen: the creation of new connections. To this end, this paper proposes a new link prediction method that is based on edge creation history retrieval. Results from experiments with twenty scenarios of four real co-authorship social networks presented statistical evidence that indicates the effectiveness of the proposed method and confirms the raised hypothesis.

6 Forty-five years of Journal of Business Research: A bibliometric analysis
چهل و پنج سال مجله تحقیقات بازرگانی: یک تحلیل کتابشناختی-2020
Journal of Business Research (JBR) is a journal of international repute that publishes original, peer-reviewed, and empirical research in business and management. Key business decisions, processes, and activities within real business settings frequently feature in JBR articles. The journal reached its 45th year of publishing in 2017. Using bibliometric techniques, we analyze the journal’s impact, its prominent topics, and its most prolific au- thors, including their affiliated institutions and countries. Using network analysis in VOSviewer software, we group JBR publications into six clusters. Through Gephi software, the findings depict the co-authorship and bibliographic couplings of authors and their affiliated institutions and countries, co-citations of journals, and co- occurrence of author-specified keywords.

7 A bibliometric review of a decade of research: Big data in business research – Setting a research agenda
بررسی کتابشناختی یک دهه تحقیق: داده های بزرگ در تحقیقات تجاری - تنظیم دستور کار تحقیق-2020
The last several years have witnessed a surge of interest in artificial intelligence (AI). As the foundation of AI technologies, big data has attracted attention of researchers. Big data and data science have been recognized as new tools and methodologies for developing theories in business research (George, 2014). While several qual- itative reviews have been conducted, there is still a lack of a quantitative and systematic review of big data in business research. Our review study fills this gap by depicting the development of big data in business research using bibliometric methods, such as publication counts and trends analysis, co-citation analysis, co-authorship analysis and keywords co-occurrence analysis. Based on the sample of 1366 primary focal articles and 55,718 secondary references, we visualize the landscape and evolution of big-data business research and capture the developmental trajectory and trends over time (between 2008 and 2018). Furthermore, based on our analyses, we provide several promising directions for future research. In doing so, we provide scholars with a systematic understanding of the development and panoramic roadmap of big data research in business.

8 Forest entrepreneurship: A bibliometric analysis and a discussion about the co-authorship networks of an emerging scientific field
کارآفرینی در جنگل: یک تحلیل کتابشناختی و بحث در مورد شبکه های تألیف مشترک یک حوزه علمی در حال ظهور-2020
Forest management has been recognized as a significant challenge for various scientific fields, namely because the difficulties in creating employment and economic dynamics in the forestry sector. Actually, it is not easy to generate more returns, in this sector, for the land owners, in addition to the production of wood after several years, depending on the produced species. In general, these difficulties lead to the land abandonment and a large set of associated problems like the forest fires. The main objective of this research is therefore to highlight the main insights from the literature related with the forest entre- preneurship, as supports for the several stakeholders, namely the policymakers, stressing the main gaps in the current scientific literature. In this paper, we have developed a bibliometric analysis through the VOSviewer software, complemented with a literature review, considering 83 articles obtained from the Web of Science (core collection) and Scopus related with the topic of ‘forest’ and ‘entrepreneurship’. We detailed the networks of Journals, Countries, Terms and Authors that have been researching and pub- lishing in the scientific domains of ‘forest entrepreneurship’. Additionally, we studied measures of social networks analysis for each case. This kind of analysis for these topics has a particular novelty, because there is still a significant scarcity of studies addressing these approaches. In fact, searching, for example, in WOS (all databases) for the topics ‘forest’, ‘entrepreneurship’ and ‘bibliometric’ we found zero documents (the same for Scopus platform, considering the article title, abstract and keywords). We concluded that the recent field of ‘forest entrepreneurship’ has allowed a higher level of co-authorships and a lower level of centrality in the citations’ network. We identified, also, that there are some gaps in the scientific literature, namely related with the few multidisciplinary networks outside the forest sciences in these topics. Finally, we observed that these topics are related with authors who, on average, published with 9 co-authors along their career and that authors working on the most generic topic of ‘forest’ tend to have 17 different co-authors, reinforcing the characteristics of ‘forestry entrepreneurship’ as a relevant but emerging scientific field.© 2020 Elsevier Ltd. 9 Evaluating “startup readiness” for researchers: case studies of research-based startups with biopharmaceutical research topics
ارزیابی "آمادگی راه اندازی" برای محققان: مطالعات موردی استارت آپ های مبتنی بر تحقیق با موضوعات تحقیقاتی زیست دارویی-2020
For research domains such as life sciences, which pursue fundamental scientific understanding and applications intended for immediate use, academic entrepreneurship has played a pivotal role in commercialization. This paper presents an evaluation method of researchers related to user-inspired fundamental research, using global databases of startup finances and academic research papers of "startup readiness." Case studies of startups related to biopharmaceutical research topics suggest that the biopharmaceutical field has rich opportunities stemming from scientific research, commercialization, and entrepreneurship. This evaluation method sorts specific industry segments by which financing activities are active, and by which related growing research topics attract increased academic attention. We constructed networks of author citation and co-authorship from paper citation networks related to research topics in industry segments in the biopharmaceutical domain. Results obtained across all research topics we surveyed demonstrated that authors in the top 10% of degree centrality ranking in both networks are far more likely to be startup participants than other authors. Our computational approach might provide convenient, dynamic, global, and real-time understanding of the “startup readiness” of researchers working with research topics for which academic attention is emerging in actively financed biopharmaceutical fields.

10 Language models and fusion for authorship attribution
مدل های زبان و همجوشی برای انتساب نویسندگی-2019
We deal with the task of authorship attribution, i.e. identifying the author of an unknown document, proposing the use of Part Of Speech (POS) tags as features for language modeling. The experimentation is carried out on corpora untypical for the task, i.e., with documents edited by non-professional writers, such as movie reviews or tweets. The former corpus is homogeneous with respect to the topic making the task more challenging, The latter corpus, puts language models into a framework of a continuously and fast evolving language, unique and noisy writing style, and limited length of social media messages. While we find that language models based on POS tags are competitive in only one of the corpora (movie reviews), they generally provide efficiency benefits and robustness against data sparsity. Furthermore, we experiment with model fusion, where language models based on different modalities are combined. By linearly combining three language models, based on characters, words, and POS trigrams, respectively, we achieve the best generalization accuracy of 96% on movie reviews, while the combination of language models based on characters and POS trigrams provides 54% accuracy on the Twitter corpus. In fusion, POS language models are proven essential effective components.
