1 Sustainable resource allocation for power generation: The role of big data in enabling interindustry architectural innovation
تخصیص منابع پایدار برای تولید برق: نقش داده های بزرگ در ایجاد نوآوری معماری بین صنعت-2018
Economic, social and environmental requirements make planning for a sustainable electricity generation mix a demanding endeavour. Technological innovation offers a range of renewable generation and energy manage ment options which require fine tuning and accurate control to be successful, which calls for the use of large scale, detailed datasets. In this paper, we focus on the UK and use Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) to evaluate electricity generation options against technical, environmental and social criteria. Data incompleteness and redundancy, usual in large-scale datasets, as well as expert opinion ambiguity are dealt with using a comprehensive grey TOPSIS model. We used evaluation scores to develop a multi-objective optimization model to maximize the technical, environmental and social utility of the electricity generation mix and to enable a larger role for innovative technologies. Demand uncertainty was handled with an interval range and we de veloped our problem with multi-objective grey linear programming (MOGLP). Solving the mathematical model provided us with the electricity generation mix for every 5 min of the period under study. Our results indicate that nuclear and renewable energy options, specifically wind, solar, and hydro, but not biomass energy, perform better against all criteria indicating that interindustry architectural innovation in the power generation mix is key to sustainable UK electricity production and supply.

2 Energy use, behavioral change, and business organizations: Reviewing recent findings and proposing a future research agenda
استفاده انرژی، تغییر رفتار، و کسب و کار سازمان ها: بررسی یافته های اخیر و ارائه دستور کار تحقیقات آینده-2016
Article history:Received 26 November 2014Received in revised form 31 August 2015 Accepted 3 September 2015Keywords: Energy Behavior Business OrganizationsA sizable literature has begun to emerge on individual energy behavior, but research on energy behavior in business organizations has been far more limited, despite businesses’ responsibility for a far larger fraction of energy use, global warming and other impacts. This article reviews studies of energy behavior in businesses, and suggests areas for additional social science research. We conducted a systematic review of bibliographies on energy and behavior, papers presented at recent conferences on behavior and energy, and reference lists of publications thus identified, and keyword searches on energy behavior and business and related topics. From these sources we identified research articles addressing energy behavior in businesses, and categorized them by qualitative content analysis into three levels of analysis: individuals within organizations, organizations, and institutional forces influencing organizations’ behavior. Using this method, we found several well-developed research areas but also significant gaps on other important topics. Under-developed topics include factors influencing businesses’ adoption of renewable energy; sector-specific studies on barriers to energy innovation; integrated studies of influences on businesses’ energy behavior at the individual, organizational and institutional levels; and cross- cultural comparisons. Such studies offer opportunities both for scholarly contributions and for improving business decision- making and public policy.© 2015 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

3 Case Study for Performance Assessment and Benefit Estimation in Paper Machines by Data Mining
مطالعه موردی برای ارزیابی عملکرد و مزایای و برآورد در ماشین آلات کاغذی توسط داده کاوی-2015
In this work, the performance assessment study is done on a paper mill using an in-house analytics tool capable of data mining. The tool proposes a generic methodology for performance analysis and then shows its application on an industrial multi-grade paper making process. The tool framework facilitates data preprocessing and data mining, configuration and calculation of key performance indices (KPIs), benchmarking and gap analysis for benefit estimation. It also helps in better performance visualization and identification of the root cause of variations in performance in paper mills. To illustrate the concept, key results from performance analysis study done on a paper machine are presented and suggested measures to improve performance are discussed.© 2015 The Authors. 4 How Wind Turbines Alignment to Wind Direction Affects Efficiency? A Case Study through SCADA Data Mining
چگونه تراز توربین های بادی به جهت وزش باد تاثیر خواهد گذاشت؟ یک مطالعه موردی از طریق داده کاوی SCADA-2015
SCADA control systems are the keystone for reliable performance optimization of wind farms. Processing into knowledge the amount of information they spread is a challenging task, involving engineering, physics, statistics and computer science skills. The present work deals with the effects on the efficiency of turbine inability of optimal aligning to the wind direction, due to meandering wind caused by wakes. The approach is tested on a judiciously chosen cluster of turbines of a wind farm sited in southern Italy. By a post-processing method based on discretization of nacelle position measurements, a set of dominant patterns of the cluster is identified. The patterns associated to best performances are individuated and it is shown that they correspond to non-trivial alignment to wind direction.© 2015 The Authors.
