1 Learning Quantum Circuits of Some T Gates
In this paper, we study the problem of learning an unknown quantum circuit of a certain structure. If the unknown target is an n-qubit Clifford circuit, we devise an efficient algorithm to reconstruct its circuit representation by using O(n2) queries to it. For decades, it has been unknown how to handle circuits beyond the Clifford group since the stabilizer formalism cannot be applied in this case. Herein, we study quantum circuits of T -depth one on the computational basis. We show that the output state of a T -depth one circuit can be represented by a stabilizer pseudomixture with a specific algebraic structure. Using Pauli and Bell measurements on copies of the output states, we can generate a hypothesis circuit that is equivalent to the unknown target circuit on computational basis states as input. If the number of T gates of the target is of the order O(log n), our algorithm requires O(n2) queries to it and produces its equivalent circuit representation on the computational basis in time O(n3). Using further additional O(43n) classical computations, we can derive an exact description of the target for arbitrary input states. Our results greatly extend the previously known facts that stabilizer states can be efficiently identified based on the stabilizer formalism.

3 Beyond intentionality in accounting regulation: Habitual strategizing by the IASB
Adopting critical discourse analysis and Bourdieu’s theorization of dispositional use of language, the present study challenges a common assumption in the accounting standard-setting literature, namely, that regulators’ discourse is purposely and deliberately deployed. I draw on cognitive sociolinguistics to empirically explore the specific manifestations of habitual, that is, pre-reflexive legitimation rhetoric in IASB regulatory texts. My analysis shows how taken-for-granted discursive rationalizations and linguistic forms are operationalized. I then argue that the language observed in regulatory texts, which can be considered as examples of ‘collective thinking artefacts’, enacts standard setters’ institutionalized patterns of reasoning associated with their social position. This critical perspective on the subconscious use of rhetoric generates a series of further questions regarding the lack of reflexivity in accounting regulatory processes.

4 ECG based biometric identification using one-dimensional local difference pattern
In this work, an enhanced version of 1D local binary pattern is proposed, for the derivation of the most relevant features for ECG-based human recognition. Generally, ECG signal characteristics by nature impose some notable challenges, mostly related to its sensitivity to noises, artifacts, behavioral and emotional disorders and other variability factors. To deal with this critical issue, we use a One-dimensional Local Difference Pattern (1D-LDP) operator to extract the discriminating statistical features from ECG by using the difference between consecutive neighboring samples to capture both the micro and macro patterns information in the heartbeat activity while reducing the local and global variation occurred in ECG over time. To verify its robustness, K-nearest neighbors (KNN) linear support vector machine (SVM) and neural network were performed as the classifier models in this work. Obtained results show that the 1D-LDP operator clearly outperforms existing 1D-LBP variants on MIT-BIH Normal Sinus Rhythm and ECG-ID database.

5 Generative Deep Learning in Digital Pathology Workflows
Many modern histopathology laboratories are in the process of digitizing their workflows. Digitization of tissue images has made it feasible to research the augmentation or automation of clinical reporting and diagnosis. The application of modern computer vision techniques, based on deep learning, promises systems that can identify pathologies in slide images with a high degree of accuracy. Generative modeling is an approach to machine learning and deep learning that can be used to transform and generate data. It can be applied to a broad range of tasks within digital pathology, including the removal of color and intensity artifacts, the adaption of images in one domain into those of another, and the generation of synthetic digital tissue samples. This review provides an introduction to the topic, considers these applications, and discusses future directions for generative models within histopathology.

6 Credit expansion, bank liberalization, and structural change in bank asset accounts
This paper studies the links among credit supply expansion, commercial bank asset ac- count structures, and the housing boom preceding the 20 07–20 09 financial crisis. We propose a real business cycle model with a housing market and financial intermediaries (banks) subject to leverage constraints. In our model, banks channel funds to firms for production and provide collateralized loans to mortgage borrowers; thus, banks determine their asset account structures endogenously. We show that a credit supply expansion to banks can account for four key facts that characterize the housing boom: (1) an increase in real house prices; (2) an increase in the mortgage-to-GDP ratio; (3) a decrease in the real mortgage interest rate; and (4) an increase in the ratio of mortgages to firm loans in commercial bank asset accounts. In our model, a credit supply expansion to banks can also generate a boom-bust cycle through the collateral value channel via mortgage borrowers. Asset-side bank regulations that reduce excessive mortgage issuance during a credit boom can help to dampen the subsequent economic downturn.

7 A Methodology For Large-Scale Identification of Related Accounts in Underground Forums
Underground forums allow users to interact with communities focused on illicit activities. They serve as an entry point for actors interested in deviant and criminal topics. Due to the pseudo-anonymity provided, they have become improvised marketplaces for trading illegal products and services, including those used to conduct cyberattacks. Thus, these forums are an important data source for threat intelligence analysts and law enforcement. The use of multiple accounts is forbidden in most forums since these are mostly used for malicious purposes. Still, this is a common practice. Being able to identify an actor or gang behind multiple accounts allows for proper attribution in online investigations, and also to design intervention mechanisms for illegal activities. Existing solutions for multi-account detec- tion either require ground truth data to conduct supervised classification or use manual approaches. In this work, we propose a methodology for the large-scale identification of re- lated accounts in underground forums. These accounts are similar according to the distinc- tive content posted, and thus are likely to belong to the same actor or group. The methodol- ogy applies to various domains and leverages distinctive artefacts and personal information left online by the users. We provide experimental results on a large dataset comprising more than 1.1M user accounts from 15 different forums. We show how this methodology, com- bined with existing approaches commonly used in social media forensics, can assist with and improve online investigations. © 2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

8 A review of multimodal human activity recognition with special emphasis on classification, applications, challenges and future directions
Human activity recognition (HAR) is one of the most important and challenging problems in the computer vision. It has critical application in wide variety of tasks including gaming, human– robot interaction, rehabilitation, sports, health monitoring, video surveillance, and robotics. HAR is challenging due to the complex posture made by the human and multiple people interaction. Various artifacts that commonly appears in the scene such as illuminations variations, clutter, occlusions, background diversity further adds the complexity to HAR. Sensors for multiple modalities could be used to overcome some of these inherent challenges. Such sensors could include an RGB-D camera, infrared sensors, thermal cameras, inertial sensors, etc. This article introduces a comprehensive review of different multimodal human activity recognition methods where different types of sensors being used along with their analytical approaches and fusion methods. Further, this article presents classification and discussion of existing work within seven rational aspects: (a) what are the applications of HAR; (b) what are the single and multi-modality sensing for HAR; (c) what are different vision based approaches for HAR; (d) what and how wearable sensors based system contributes to the HAR; (e) what are different multimodal HAR methods; (f) how a combination of vision and wearable inertial sensors based system contributes to the HAR; and (g) challenges and future directions in HAR. With a more and comprehensive understanding of multimodal human activity recognition, more research in this direction can be motivated and refined.© 2021 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

9 Synthesizing researches on Knowledge Management and Agile Software Development using the Meta-ethnography method
Context: Software development processes are considered as knowledge intensive and therefore Knowledge Management (KM) can be applied to efficiently manage the knowledge generated. Agile practices can benefit software organizations in terms of KM. Some studies have already presented evidence about this relationship. However, the intersection of these two areas still requires further clarification.
Objective: This study synthesizes research on KM and Agile Software Development (ASD) using the meta-ethnography method considering Scrum and XP frameworks.
Method: In order to achieve the proposed goal, first, a diagnostic was conducted in different project domains with agile and traditional software development in order to identify the performance of KM activities. Second, the phases of the meta-ethnography analysis method were applied in a set of studies selected from a tertiary review on KM and ASD, as well as classic guides and area references. Finally, the relationships that were identified among the areas investigated were analyzed from interviews with agile development methodology experts.
Results: The most common activity investigated between KM and ASD is knowledge sharing. However, in the practical view of software development companies, the attention is on how to use the generated knowledge.
Conclusion: The clarification of how KM is present in each agile value, practices, and artifacts allows a reflection on how much knowledge was created, shared, and applied during ASD. Besides, such results presented in this study enable organizations to know each other better and to explore more each KM activity, thus contributing to delivering more value to the customer

Indian construction industry has not been addressed adequately in the context of green supply chain practices. However, various drivers, enablers and barriers for adoption of green supply chain practices have been reported in the literature. In view of these stylists facts, the main aim of the present research work is first to investigate the adaptability of green supply chain practices by various categories of Indian construction companies followed by identifying the correlation of drivers, enablers and barriers with the construction industry readiness of adaptation of green supply chain practices. Finally, these drivers, enablers and barriers are prioritized by using the AHP methodology. A questionnaire survey was disseminated to senior construction project managers of Indian construction companies having different size as well as area of operations. Preliminary analysis is performed by using the descriptive statistics. Four hypotheses are tested using ANOVA and spearman’s correlation coefficient. The priority structure of drivers, enablers and barriers is also developed by using the AHP methodology. Results demonstrate that institutional theory, complexity theory, ecological modernization theory, resource-based view and resource dependency theory are well supported. The study will be helpful for the construction project managers/clean production policy makers in taking more informed, systematic and efficient decisions, while adapting the sustainable supply chain practices in the context of construction industry.© 2021 Elsevier Ltd.
