1 Effects of Dynamical Decoupling and Pulse-Level Optimizations on IBM Quantum Computers
اثرات جداسازی دینامیکی و بهینه سازی سطح پالس بر روی کامپیوترهای کوانتومی IBM-2022
Currently available quantum computers are prone to errors. Circuit optimization and error mitigation methods are needed to design quantum circuits to achieve better fidelity when executed on NISQ hardware. Dynamical decoupling (DD) is generally used to suppress the decoherence error, and different DD strategies have been proposed. Moreover, the circuit fidelity can be improved by pulse-level optimization, such as creating hardware-native pulse-efficient gates. This article implements all the popular DD sequences and evaluates their performances on IBM quantum chips with different characteristics for various wellknown quantum applications. Also, we investigate combining DD with the pulse-level optimization method and apply them to QAOA to solve the max-cut problem. Based on the experimental results, we find that DD can be a benefit for only certain types of quantum algorithms, while the combination of DD and pulse-level optimization methods always has a positive impact. Finally, we provide several guidelines for users to learn how to use these noise mitigation methods to build circuits for quantum applications with high fidelity on IBM quantum computers.

2 Mobile Control Plane Design for Quantum Satellite Backbones
طراحی هواپیمای کنترل سیار برای ستون فقرات ماهواره ای کوانتومی-2022
The interconnection of quantum computers through the so-called Quantum Internet is a very promising approach. The most critical issues concern the physical layer, considering that the creation of entanglement over long distances is still problematic. Given the difficulty that usually arises from fiber optics due to exponential losses, the introduction of intermediate quantum repeaters (QRs) allows mitigating the problem. A quantum satellite network based on QRs on satellites deployed over low Earth orbit could make it possible to overcome the constraints of terrestrial optical networks. Hence, the recent technological developments in terms of quantum satellite communications motivated our investigation on an ad hoc quantum satellite backbone design based on the software defined networking paradigm with a control plane directly integrated into the constellation itself. Our aim is to outline some guidelines by comparing several options. Specifically, the focus is to analyze different architectural solutions making some considerations on their feasibility, possible benefits, and costs. Finally, we performed some simulations on the architectures we considered the most promising, concluding that the integration of the control plane in the constellation itself is the most appropriate solution.

3 A framework for intelligent IoT firmware compliance testing
چارچوبی برای تست سازگاری سیستم عامل اینترنت اشیاء هوشمند-2022
The recent mass production and usage of the Internet of Things (IoT) have posed serious concerns due to the unavoidable security complications. The firmware of IoT systems is a critical component of IoT security. Although multiple organizations have released security guidelines, few IoT vendors are following these guidelines properly, either due to a lack of accountability or the availability of appropriate resources. Some tools for this purpose can use static, dynamic, or fuzzing techniques to test the security of IoT firmware, which may result in false positives or failure to discover vulnerabilities. Furthermore, the vast majority of resources are devoted to a single subject, such as networking protocols, web interfaces, or Internet of Things computer applications. This paper aims to present a novel method for conducting compliance testing and vulnerability evaluation on IoT system firmware, communication interfaces, and networking services using static and dynamic analysis. The proposed system detects a broad range of security bugs across a wide range of platforms and hardware architectures. To test and validate our prototype, we ran tests on 4300 firmware images and discovered 13,000þ compliance issues. This work, we believe, will be the first step toward developing a reliable automated compliance testing framework for the IoT manufacturing industry and other stakeholders.

4 Advanced digital signatures for preserving privacy and trust management in hierarchical heterogeneous IoT: Taxonomy, capabilities, and objectives
امضای دیجیتالی پیشرفته برای حفظ حریم خصوصی و مدیریت اعتماد در اینترنت اشیا ناهمگون سلسله مراتبی: طبقه بندی، قابلیت ها و اهداف-2022
Internet of Things (IoT) systems in different areas, such as manufacturing, transportation, and healthcare, are the convergence of several technologies. There are many concerns about security and privacy drawbacks in IoT systems. Apart from confidentiality supported by encryption primitives, authenticity and non-repudiation are of utmost importance. IoT entities generally use conventional digital signature schemes to achieve imperative goals. However, there are some state-of-the-art digital signatures with more functionalities, IoT-friendly properties, and privacy-preserving features.
This survey paper aims to accelerate the adoption of advanced digital signatures. We bridge the gap between the advanced theoretical digital signatures recently designed in cryptographic oriented papers and the applied IoT systems. It aids researchers in achieving more security, privacy as well as some unique functionality aspects. First, we illustrate the benefits of the hierarchical and heterogeneous IoT architecture supporting the end-edge-fog-cloud continuum accompanying blockchain technology. Second, our survey delves into five state-of-the-art digital signatures, including randomizable, keyless, double-authentication-prevention, sanitizable, and redactable schemes, that are aligned with entities in IoT systems. We provide an outline, taxonomy, comparison table, and diverse IoT-based use cases for each of them. Then, the integration of primitives and the relationship diagrams give guidelines to help select the appropriate advanced digital signatures and highlights how researchers can use them with different IoT entities for preserving privacy and management of trust.

5 A Survey on Post-Quantum Public-Key Signature Schemes for Secure Vehicular Communications
مرور طرح‌های امضای کلید عمومی پسا کوانتومی برای ارتباطات امن خودرو-2022
Basic security requirements such as confidentiality, user authentication and data integrity, are assured by using public-key cryptography (PKC). In particular, public-key signature schemes provide non-repudiation, integrity of transmitted messages and authentication. The presence of a large scale quantum computer would be a real threat to break the most widely used public-key cryptographic algorithms in practice, RSA, DSA, ECDSA signature schemes and Diffie-Hellman key exchange. Thus, all security protocols and applications where these public-key cryptographic algorithms are used are vulnerable to quantum-computer attacks. There are five directions of cryptographic primitives secure against a quantum computer: multivariate quadratic equation-based, hash-based, lattice-based, code-based and supersingular isogeny-based cryptography. These primitives could serve as replacements for current public-key cryptographic algorithms to prepare for post-quantum era. It is important to prioritize the fields to be replaced by post-quantum cryptography (PQC) since it is hard to replace the currently deployed PKC with PQC at the same time. The fields directly connected to human life such as vehicular communications should be the primary targets of PQC applications. This survey is dedicated to providing guidelines for adapting the most suitable post-quantum candidates to the requirements of various devices and suggesting efficient and physically secure implementations that can be built into existing embedded applications as easily as traditional PKC. It focuses on the five types of post-quantum signature schemes and investigates their theoretical backgrounds, structures, state-of-the-art constructions and implementation aspects on various platforms raging from resource constrained IoT devices to powerful servers connected to the devices for secure communications in post-quantum era. It offers appropriate solutions to find tradeoffs between key sizes, signature lengths, performance, and security for practical applications.

7 Midwives knowledge of pre-eclampsia management: A scoping review
دانش ماماها از مدیریت پیشکلامپسی: بررسی اسکاپ-2021
Background: Pre-eclampsia is a multi-organ disease affecting pregnant women from the second trimester onwards resulting in multiple adverse outcomes. Sub-optimal treatment of pre-eclampsia is linked with unfavorable outcomes. It is critical for midwives as primary providers to be competent in the diagnosis and management of pre-eclampsia especially in low-and middle-income countries.
Aim: To identify what midwives’ around the world know about pre-eclampsia management. Methods: A scoping review using the JBI three-step search strategy was used to identify relevant research articles and grey literature on the subject. Database searches in PubMed, CINAHL, Cochrane Databases, Web of Science, and Scopus yielded twenty papers in addition to nine guidelines from Google Scholar. The findings were synthesised using a metasynthesis approach and presented as themes.
Findings: Four themes were identified from the extracted data: Foundational knowledge of preeclampsia; Knowledge and management of a woman with pre-eclampsia according to guidelines; Knowledge of being prepared for emergency procedures and management of emergencies; Factors influencing knowledge. The first three themes addressed diagnosis and management whilst the last theme described how contextual factors led to either increased or decreased knowledge of preeclampsia.
Conclusion: Worldwide, practicing midwives lack knowledge on several aspects of pre-eclampsia diagnosis and care. Policies on in-service training should be oriented to include innovative nontraditional methods that have the potential to increase midwives’ knowledge.

8 Management of Pediatric Atopic Dermatitis by Primary Care Providers: A Systematic Review
مدیریت درماتیت آتوپیک اطفال توسط ارائه دهندگان مراقبت های اولیه: مرور سیستماتیک-2021
BACKGROUND: Primary care providers (PCPs), including pediatricians and general practitioners, are often the first to see children with eczema/atopic dermatitis (AD). Little is known about management of pediatric AD by PCPs and adherence to national guidelines. OBJECTIVE: To review existing literature examining management components of pediatric AD (topical corticosteroids [TCS], topical calcineurin inhibitors [TCIs], antihistamines, bathing, emollients, and diet) by PCPs. DATA SOURCES: PubMed/Medline and Embase. STUDY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: English-language articles dated 2015 to 2020 reporting outcomes addressing management of pediatric AD by PCPs. STUDY APPRAISAL AND SYNTHESIS METHODS: Two authors independently screened titles/abstracts, reviewed full-text articles, extracted relevant data, and evaluated study quality. Disagreements were resolved by a third author. RESULTS: Twenty articles were included. Surveys and national database analyses were the most common methodologies (n = 7 each). PCPs commonly prescribed TCS but had a preference for low-potency agents, overprescribed nonsedating antihistamines, and avoided TCIs. PCPs commonly recommended emollients, although this was not universal. Data characterizing nonmedication management were limited. LIMITATIONS: Most studies did not examine individual patient encounters, but rather relied on providers reporting their general behaviors. Provider behavior may vary based on country of practice. CONCLUSIONS AND IMPLICATIONS OF KEY FINDINGS: Knowledge and management gaps exist among PCPs in treating pediatric AD in key areas including knowledge of TCS safety profiles and prescribing of TCIs. The current literature is largely limited to small studies that evaluate prescribing behaviors with limited data characterizing nonmedication management, highlighting the need for future research in this area.

9 Process-oriented Knowledge Representation of the Requirement Management Phase of TOGAF-ADM: an Empirical Evaluation
بازنمایی دانش فرآیند محور فاز مدیریت نیازمندی TOGAF-ADM: یک ارزیابی تجربی-2021
The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) is one of the most used by large-scale companies Enterprise Architecture (EA) frameworks. It contains the Architecture Development Method (ADM) to represent knowledge used to analyze and build the EA for an organization. It is a very detailed method and covers all phases of EA construction and maintenance. However, the described guidelines are hard to follow as they are rich and numerous. Our goal is to provide a process-based knowledge representation of the ADM method to better guide EA professionals using TOGAF and to facilitate the TOGAF teaching with students. In our previous work, we have already proposed the process-oriented graphical representation of the requirements management (RM) phase of TOGAF-ADM. In this work, we carried out a questionnaire to evaluate the process representation of the TOGAF-ADM RM phase in comparison with its textual representation issue from the TOGAF documentation. The obtained results confirmed that process models are helpful to better represent the knowledge included in TOGAF-ADM textual guidelines; thus, practitioners have a more complete description of how to proceed while using TOGAF.

10 Resident Opioid Prescribing Habits Do Not Reflect Best Practices in Post-Operative Pain Management: An Assessment of the Knowledge and Education Gap
عادت های تجویز داروهای ساکن، بهترین شیوه ها را در مدیریت درد پس از عمل منعکس نمی کنند: ارزیابی شکاف دانش و آموزش-2021
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate deficiencies in knowledge and education in opioid prescribing and to compare surgical resident opioid-prescribing practices to Opioid Prescribing Engagement Network (OPEN) procedure-specific guidelines.
DESIGN: Anonymous web-based survey distributed to all general surgery residents to evaluate prior education received and confidence in knowledge in opioid prescribing. The number of 5 milligram oxycodone tablets prescribed for common procedures was assessed and compared with OPEN for significance using Wilcoxon signed rank tests.
SETTING: General surgery residency program within large university-based tertiary medical center. PARTICIPANTS: Categorical general surgery residents of all postgraduate years.
RESULTS: Fifty-six of 72 (78%) categorical residents completed the survey. Few reported receiving formal education in opioid prescribing in medical school (32%) or residency (16%). While 82% of residents felt confident in opioid side effects, fewer felt the same with regards to opioid pharmacokinetics (36%) or proper opioid disposal (29%). Opioids prescribed varied widely with residents prescribing significantly more than recommended by OPEN in 9 of 14 procedures.
CONCLUSIONS: Tackling the evolving opioid epidemic requires a multidisciplinary approach that addresses prescribing at all steps of the process, starting with trainee education.
