3PL firm’s equity financing for technology innovation in a platform supply chain
تأمین مالی سهام شرکت 3PL برای نوآوری در فناوری در یک زنجیره تامین سیستم عامل-2021 Technologies have been driving improvements in logistics and transportation. Focusing on a third-party logistics (3PL) firm’s technology innovations supported by external equity financing, we examine how the innovations can benefit the supply chain, and how the supply chain members should respond with coordinated operational decisions. More specifically, we consider a platform supply chain where a supplier sells a single product on an online platform provided by a retailer, and then hires a 3PL firm for transportation services. The 3PL firm may choose to raise capital through equity financing from external financial institutions, which can be used to support technology innovations to reduce the transportation cost. The financing decision of the 3PL in- teracts with operational decisions of the platform supply chain via possible cost savings. We start with investigating the supply chain coordination by characterizing the optimal operational decisions of the three firms under any given equity financing strategy. Acting non-cooperatively, the 3PL firm and the online retailer first determine the freight charge and revenue sharing respectively, in light of which the supplier’s decision on the retail price. We then move to the 3PL firm internally and derive the optimal equity financing strategy. Our analytical results show that the supply chain efficiency is dependent on the cost allocation between the retailer and the other two firms, but independent of the cost allocation between those two firms. It is also revealed that the original shareholders of the 3PL firm always have a chance to benefit from an appropriate financing strategy, and the optimal financing strategy may depend discontinuously on supply chain parameters. Finally, we check the robustness of our model and show that all key findings remain unchanged when relaxing the deterministic cost reduction to an uncertain one. The importance of accounting-integrated information systems for realising productivity and sustainability in the agricultural sector
اهمیت سیستم های اطلاعاتی حسابداری یکپارچه برای تحقق بهره وری و پایداری در بخش کشاورزی-2021 Agricultural information systems are an integral part of modern farming and are helping to
make a significant contribution to improved farm productivity and profitability. To date,
however, there has been a failure to integrate accounting information systems with onfarm data, despite today’s farmers facing unprecedented and interconnected economic
and resource pressures. This study explores this problem in more detail, defines the objectives of the solution and develops a model of integrated accounting and agricultural information systems, drawing on a ‘fads and fashions’ framework and advancing our
understanding of bundled innovations. Using data from a participatory case study in
Australian potato farming, the study integrates accounting data with soil moisture and climate data to track, alert and inform irrigation decisions. Development of preliminary digital software based on the model demonstrates how cost-informed tracking, alerts and
forecasting can be supported by bundling accounting information systems and sensing
technology. In doing so, the model extends the fads and fashions framework for agricultural information systems and demonstrates how accounting information can be the key
for improved water productivity, profitability and agricultural sustainability.

Sustainable supply chain management considering technology investments and government intervention
مدیریت پایدار زنجیره تأمین با در نظر گرفتن سرمایه گذاری های فن آوری و مداخلات دولت-2021 With the aggravation of the global environmental crisis, consumers are keen to use green products, and enterprises are more committed to technology investment and innovation to meet consumers’ green preferences. This study considers a supply chain system composed of one manufacturer and one retailer, where the manufacturer invests in green emission reduction technology (GERT) to reduce carbon emissions, and the retailer invests in information disclosure technology to transmit the higher greenness quality of products to consumers. We discuss the technology investment decisions and cooperation strategies between the manufacturer and the retailer, as well as the impacts of government regulations on supply chain members’ decisions. We consider three scenarios: decentralized, government intervention, and cost sharing and government intervention. We derive the optimal technology investment decisions of the manufacturer and retailer. In addition, we identify the conditions for the manufacturer to subsidize the retailer’s disclosure technology costs. The results show that a higher emission reduction subsidy encourages GERT investments and increases supply chain members’ profits. However, when the government sets a higher emission reduction standard, the subsidy neither increases the emission reduction nor benefits the retailer, and hurts the manufacturer’s profit. We also demonstrate that when there is cost sharing and government intervention, emission reduction and supply chain performance are always better than in the other scenarios. Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics: Revised 2021 Standards of Professional Performance for Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (Competent, Proficient, and Expert) in Management of Food and Nutrition Systems
آکادمی تغذیه و رژیمشناسی: استانداردهای 2021 اصلاحشده عملکرد حرفهای برای متخصصان تغذیه ثبتشده (لایق، ماهر و متخصص) در مدیریت سیستمهای غذایی و تغذیه-2021 Management of food and nutrition systems (MFNS) encompasses the varied roles of registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs) with
administrative responsibilities for food and nutrition services within an organization. RDNs in MFNS are frequently employed in acute
care, but also expand into a multitude of other settings in which management of nutrition and foodservice is required, for example,
foodservice departments in assisted living and post-acute and long-term care; colleges and universities, kindergarten through grade 12
and pre-kindergarten schools and childcare; retail foodservice operations; correctional facilities; and companies that produce,
distribute, and sell food products. RDNs in MFNS aim to create work environments that support high-quality customer-centered care
and services, attract and retain talented staff, and foster an atmosphere of collaboration and innovation. The Management in Food and
Nutrition Systems Dietetic Practice Group, with guidance from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Quality Management Committee,
has revised the Standards of Professional Performance (SOPP) for RDNs in MFNS for 3 levels of practice: competent, proficient, and
expert. The SOPP describes 6 domains that focus on professional performance: Quality in Practice, Competence and Accountability,
Provision of Services, Application of Research, Communication and Application of Knowledge, and Utilization and Management of
Resources. Indicators outlined in the SOPP depict how these standards apply to practice. The standards and indicators for RDNs in MFNS
are written with the leader in mind—to support an individual in a leadership role or who has leadership aspirations. The SOPP is
intended to be used by RDNs for self-evaluation to assure competent professional practice.

A study related to product service systems (PSS), SERVQUAL and knowledge management system (KMS) – A review
مطالعه مربوط به سیستم های خدمات محصول (PSS)، SERVQUAL و سیستم مدیریت دانش (KMS) - یک مرور-2021 PSS is a growing field of research in industry practice in today’s global economy. It is a new trend that has
an impact on both the production and consumption of resources. PSS aims at a more profitable and conservational usage of products. While in the past providing services was one of the strategies attained to
differentiate in competition, however today providing a product together with many services has become
a standard practice in the product industry. To remain competitive, manufacturers are forced not only to
produce a competitive product however rather a superior PSS.PSS are outlined as life cycle bound combinations of a product and completely different services, having sophisticated networks, that comprise a
manufacturer as a provider and also as a repair partner. To enable the applicability of a PSS in an industry,
it is essential to evaluate the system using metrics – the SERVQUAL MODEL, which defines ‘‘The quality as
the difference between the customers’ expectations & perceptions concerning the services delivered to
them” [1]. It is catered to measure quality by capturing the expectancy – confirmation paradigm which
suggests the consumer’s perceived quality of how well a given service delivery meets their expectations
of that delivery. So this SERVQUAL metric is used to determine the level of quality in the industry and the
five dimensions are such as tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance & empathy are measured
using a five-point Likert scale. Since, organizations are more and more moving towards knowledgebased strategies, developing and managing knowledge is essential for improving the organizational performance as well as for enhancing decision-making process. This paper presents a review on the use of a
knowledge management practice in PSS for industries to store, share and utilize knowledge for enhancing
creativity & innovation in their service systems. An efficient review of the literature has been conducted
in the academic and scientific databases taking into account the date of publication of the articles titled
PSS, SERVQUAL and KMS from 2009 to 2020. To achieve the review process, all selected articles have been
categorized by publication year, the objectives of the research, the methodology used, the results, conclusion and future scope of their research are presented on a broader scale [16]. Therefore, this paper presents an overview of the literature on PSS and the evaluation methods using SERVQUAL MODEL and the
role of knowledge management in PSS and the appropriate ideas for conducting research in the future.

Exploring the feasibility of introducing electric freight vehicles in the short food supply chain: A multi-stakeholder approach
بررسی امکان معرفی وسایل نقلیه باری الکتریکی در زنجیره تأمین مواد غذایی کوتاه: یک رویکرد چند ذی نفع-2021 The transition towards more sustainable approaches in the Food Supply Chain was concretely visible in the implementation of alternative models, like the Short Food Supply Chain. Some authors raise doubts on the environmental impact of this model, in particular for the externalities caused by the transport system, suggesting the adoption of Electric Freight vehicles. By adopting a multi-stakeholder approach, the objective of this study is to explore both the barriers and potentialities involved in the adoption of Electric Freight vehicles in the Short Food Supply Chain, and the existence of a shared strategy at the system level able to foster their adoption. Results suggest that, for entrepreneurs, Electric Freight vehicles appear as a viable option, although more efforts are still needed at a governmental level, through the promotion of public measures in the form of support for purchasing costs or rental rate and offering technical expertise services. In terms of infrastructures, as is clear from interviews, improving the charging infrastructure efficiency to ensure EFVs shift optimization and increasing the number of charging points are today a priority. On the whole, more collaborative methods should be inaugurated, contributing to a shared vision of urban mobility which takes into account all supply chain actors (charging point operators, automotive industry, rental car services, farmers, and local authorities) to ensure the system works in a more efficient way. The effect of perceived rewards on radical innovation: the mediating role of knowledge management in Indian manufacturing firms
تأثیر پاداش های درک شده بر نوآوری ریشه ای: نقش واسطه ای مدیریت دانش در شرکت های تولیدی هند-2021 This paper examines the mechanisms through which employees’ perception of rewards influences their radical
innovation. The paper develops and empirically tests a model proposing that perceived rewards influence radical
innovation via the mediating mechanisms of knowledge acquisition and knowledge sharing. Data from three
Indian manufacturing companies were collected using a questionnaire. Responses from 235 employees were
analysed (using structural equation modeling via AMOS27) to examine the links between perceived rewards,
knowledge sharing, knowledge acquisition, and radical innovation. The findings showed that: 1) perceived rewards
had positive and significant relationships with radical innovation, knowledge acquisition, and knowledge
sharing; 2) knowledge acquisition had a positive and significant relation with radical innovation, but knowledge
sharing was not significantly related to radical innovation; and 3) knowledge acquisition mediated the relationship
between perceived rewards and radical innovation. No support was found for the mediating role of
knowledge sharing in radical innovation. The paper examines the overlooked role of perceived rewards in
facilitating knowledge behaviours and radical innovation. In addition, the practices examined in the model are
assessed as perceived by employees, rather than as perceived or intended by managers.

innovation in management and business and STEM fields for sustainability in a unified framework for the case of
developing countries (i.e., the Global South). It presents and discusses the output, impact, and structure of such
research based on a sample of 14,000 þ articles and conference proceedings extracted from the bibliographic
database Scopus. The findings reveal research output inflections after global announcements such as UN-Earth
Summits. The study also reveals the indisputable leadership of China in overall output and research agendasetting.
Nonetheless, countries such as India, Mexico, and Nigeria are either more efficient or impactful. GS
research published in highly reputable journals is still scarce but increasing modestly. Central topic clusters (e.g.,
knowledge management) remain peripheral to the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) research landscape.
Finally, academic-corporate collaboration is in its infancy and limited to particular economic sectors:
energy, pharmaceuticals, and high-tech.

Application of green supply chain management in the oil Industries: Modeling and performance analysis
کاربرد مدیریت زنجیره تامین سبز در صنایع نفت: مدل سازی و تحلیل عملکرد-2021 Environmental concerns relating to production affairs have made various organizations use green practices in different processes of supply chain, because the green supply chain management (GSCM) is considered as an important organizational philosophy to decrease environmental risks and as a preventive approach in order to increase environmental performance and achievement of competitive advantages for organizations. The purpose of the present article is to design an interactive model for the practices of GSCM and its application to clustering oil industries for analyzing their green performance. Therefore, the literature was studied and a total of fifteen practices were obtained using experts’ opinions in academic and oil industry professionals. In next, the fuzzy interpretative structural modeling (FISM) approach was utilized so as to determine the relationship between the practices through considering the linguistic ambiguities of judgments and designing the structural model. The existing relationships within the structural model were studied and tested by means of structural equation modeling (SEM). After that, the relative importance of each practice was calculated by applying fuzzy analysis network process (FANP). In the next, the oil industries were categorized in two clusters using the K-means algorithm aggregated to the particle swarm optimization algorithm. Results of the present study showed that ‘‘legal requirements and regulations”, ‘‘intra-organizational environmental management”, ‘‘green design” and ‘‘green technology” are of root and influential practices with relatively more importance than others; in addition, it was cleared that the first cluster industries have high performance whereas the second ones have medium performance from the viewpoint of considering the practices of GSCM. Finally, the discriminant function designed to forecasting environment performance of the oil industries and member- ship to clusters for each of them.© 2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
