91 Faculty sensitization and development to enhance responsible management education
Even in educational models that encourage students to be protagonists of their learning, the role of the teacher still carries great meaning as a reference in the academic environment. For educational institutions, these stakeholders are extremely strategic, since they are the bridge between the school and the student, being able to assume the role of a spokesperson for the mission and the values of the Institution in which they operate. This article describes the methodology adopted by the Brazilian business school, ISAE, which aimed to train its faculty on the principles of responsible management education promulgated by the UN PRME initiative. Inspired by Jacques Delors (2006) ‘Five pillars of education’, the school created a project that evolves from the traditional pedagogical encounters, raising awareness and qualification of its faculty in themes that are transversal to technical education. In order to understand the main results of this project, this paper presents research carried out with participating teachers, through which it was possible to verify the effectiveness of the project in improving the relationship between the school and this stakeholder, as well as valuing the teachers role in disseminating the principles of responsible management education.

92 Evaluation of the influence that higher education boosts on students’ entrepreneurial proclivity: Evidence from Mexico and Spain
Higher Education portrays a venue for undergraduates to envision the job that best fits their aims and fosters their personal growth. One corresponds to the entrepreneurial career that demands students harness their creativity, initiative, and academic faculty. This quantitative research analyses the link between Higher Education and entrepreneurship through a field study in Mexican and Spanish institutions, whose cities reveal contrasting demographic, social, and economic features that play an influential role. Thus, a systemic method is designed to gather empirical data about the interest in entrepreneurship revealed by n = 224 undergraduates and their opinion of how formal education boosts such a vocation from four subjects (e.g., regional study, students inner ends, school endorsement, and academic development), which raise four research questions to lead the work. As a result, seven findings are uncovered to inspire nine hypotheses that ground the four answers. Those outcomes prompt as one of the major conclusions a high correlation of r = 0.78 to assert: how dimension and well–being of the city wherein the institution is located, students inner concerns related to entrepreneurship, and formal entrepreneurial education taught by the institution positively encourage students’ proclivity for entrepreneurial affairs!

93 The evolution of the principle of mandatory prosecution in Italy: A problematic case of gradual institutional change
Drawing on historical institutionalism, the paper shows how the principle of mandatory prosecution, enshrined in the Italian Constitution, has been incrementally reconfigured over the last 50 years through a process of layering carried out by judicial actors, without being formally amended. The result is that the principle of mandatory prosecution has been de facto replaced by an opposite principle of discretion, which attributes to public prosecutors the power to define priorities in the exercise of the penal action. This transformation raises serious concerns about the respect for the principle of equality of citizens before the law and about the preservation of the traditional balance of power between political and judicial institutions.

This study investigated twelve categories of exploits targeting a large southern university to build a build a more robust cyberthreat profile for institutions of higher education. In one week, the university experienced 12.4 million external cyberattacks from 110 countries. Malware constituted 58% of all malicious activities. Attacks were statistically more likely to occur during the overnight hours of weekdays. Moreover, the majority of cyberattack activity was generated by a limited number of IP addresses originating from a handful of countries. Dutch-originating IP addresses were responsible for 71% of all cyberattacks in this study, and spyware attacks almost exclusively originated from a single IP address in the U.S.

95 Process intensification education contributes to sustainable development goals: Part 1
In 2015 all the United Nations (UN) member states adopted 17 sustainable development goals (UN-SDG) as part of the 2030 Agenda, which is a 15-year plan to meet ambitious targets to eradicate poverty, protect the environment, and improve the quality of life around the world. Although the global community has progressed, the pace of implementation must accelerate to reach the UN-SDG time-line. For this to happen, professionals, institutions, companies, governments and the general public must become cognizant of the challenges that our world faces and the potential technological solutions at hand, including those provided by chemical engineering. Process intensification (PI) is a recent engineering approach with demonstrated potential to significantly improve process efficiency and safety while reducing cost. It offers opportunities for attaining the UN-SDG goals in a cost-effective and timely manner. However, the pedagogical tools to educate undergraduate, graduate students, and professionals active in the field of PI lack clarity and focus. This paper sets out the state-of-the-art, main discussion points and guidelines for enhanced PI teaching, deliberated by experts in PI with either an academic or industrial background, as well as representatives from government and specialists in pedagogy gathered at the Lorentz Center (Leiden, The Netherlands) in June 2019 with the aim of uniting the efforts on education in PI and produce guidelines. In this Part 1, we discuss the societal and industrial needs for an educational strategy in the framework of PI. The terminology and background information on PI, related to educational implementation in industry and academia, are provided as a preamble to Part 2, which presents practical examples that will help educating on Process Intensification.

96 Environmental management accounting in the Middle East and North Africa region: Significance of resource slack and coercive isomorphism
The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region is suffering from serious environmental issues, which are caused mainly by industrial and non-financial business activities. Implementing environmental management accounting (EMA) will help businesses manage environmental issues better and improve how they treat the environment. The key motivation for undertaking this study is that earlier research reported a poor level of environmental accounting practices by firms in the MENA region. These studies documented the necessity to develop a better understanding of EMA practices and the factors that in- fluence their employment. Based on the new institutional sociology (NIS) perspective of institutional theory and resource slack theory, this study examines the influence of technological capabilities, environment-focused human resources management (EFHRM) and institutional isomorphism, specif- ically on the extent to which EMA practices are implemented in non-financial listed firms from eight MENA countries. These countries are Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan and Egypt. A web-based survey approach was utilised; and the data was analysed through structural equation modelling (SEM). The findings indicated an overall poor widespread of the use of EMA practices in the selected firms as perceived by the participants. Also, the findings suggest that technological capabilities, EFHRM and coercive isomorphism positively and significantly influence how EMA practices are implemented. Coercive pressures, technological and human resources are affecting the extent of EMA use in this study’s sample, but not to a great extent. Hence, coercive pressures should be maximised by regulatory bodies in the selected MENA countries in order for EMA practices to be widely accepted. Furthermore, governments should facilitate the outsourcing of experts who can help with implementing EMA practices. It means collaborating with non-government partners, such as accounting associations, industry associations, research & consulting firms and educational institutions. These kinds of collaborations can lead to better support for environmental management and EMA, thus instituting the required educational programs and training to enhance employees’ awareness of EMA practices that include the role of technology.© 2020 Elsevier Ltd. Embedded systems are growing rapidly as the technology paves the way for the rise of future of smart manufacturing through a wide range of industries. The intensity demands of innovation required a steady supply of innovative and entrepreneurship engineers to ensures the industry players have a sustainable supply of talent to fuel their growth and investments. The university acknowledge the current and future demand of the labour market by offering embedded system course that are developed to equipped the next generation engineers with innovation and entrepreneurship skills to enable them to turn their ideas into reality. This paper developed and validated a scale to measure the student entrepreneurship skills readiness for embedded systems design course using the Rasch analysis. The content validity results show that CVR is 0.92 and CVI is 0.96 indicating an excellent content validity. The pilot test result show that the scale Cronbach alpha is 0.80 indicating excellent scale reliability. The construct validity of the scale was evaluated using WINSTEPS version 3.92.1, with results indicated that all the items of the scale fit the Rasch model with satisfactoryfit index and showedexcellent consistency, with reliability alpha of 0.99 foe items and 0.75 for persons. The findings depicted that most of the students have poor business and entrepreneurship skills, such as marketing and negotiation abilities. Therefore, higher learning institutions need to embed acquirable entrepreneurial skills in the prerequisites courses to provide adequate training to the students, increasing their creativity and maximizing their potential to be successful entrepreneurs.© 2020 The Authors. 98 Reassessing mental illness stigma in mental health care: Competing stigmas and risk containment
Research on mental illness stigma tends to focus on the most severe diagnoses and settings, and it pays insufficient attention to how the treatment process itself relates to stigma. This study, calling on 28 interviews with providers treating a wide range of mental problems in varied settings, addresses these issues. Findings reveal that stigma is associated with treatment across settings and severity, although dynamics vary based on the intensity of setting. Mental illness stigma competes with other stigmas in presenting for treatment. Once in treatment, mental health care acts as a stigma-mitigating “stamp” of risk containment for other societal systems and institutions, signifying that risks posed by clients problems are being officially contained.

99 The study of institutional entrepreneurship and its implications for transition studies
Innovations accompanying transitions often prompt institutional change if they do not match with existing institutions. Transition studies started to incorporate institutional dynamics into their research, but efforts hitherto remain underdeveloped. In this paper, we systematically re- view the institutional entrepreneurship literature. Based on a reading of 153 empirical cases, we identify trends and biases in the literature and we distil a number of insights for transition studies to engage with.

100 Enforceability and the effectiveness of laws and regulations
A major threat to the development of financial markets in emerging markets is “tunneling.” In China, this took on the form of controlling shareholders diverting assets from listed firms or coercing firms to serve as guarantors on questionable loans. A new set of rules enacted in 2005 prohibited asset diversion for “non-operational” purposes. Firms complying with these rules have experienced a reduction in related party transactions, an increase in investment, and better performance. In contrast, another set of contemporary rules, which aimed to standardize the practice of firms providing loan guarantees, has had very little impact. We attribute the contrasting design, implementation, and effectiveness of these two sets of rules to the difference in enforcement costs of the two types of tunneling activities. Relative to loan guarantees, it is much easier for a third party to determine (ex ante) whether a particular form of diversion destroys firm value, and to verify (ex post) that the losses to the firm resulted from the diversion. Our results highlight the importance of enforceability—laws and regulations that can be enforced at lower costs are more likely to succeed, especially in countries with underdeveloped formal institutions.
