41 Deep unsupervised methods towards behavior analysis in ubiquitous sensor data
روش های عمیق بدون نظارت برای تجزیه و تحلیل رفتار در داده های حسگر همه جا حاضر-2022
Behavioral analysis (BA) on ubiquitous sensor data is the task of finding the latent distribution of features for modeling user-specific characteristics. These characteristics, in turn, can be used for a number of tasks including resource management, power efficiency, and smart home applications. In recent years, the employment of topic models for BA has been found to successfully extract the dynamics of the sensed data. Topic modeling is popularly performed on text data for mining inherent topics. The task of finding the latent topics in textual data is done in an unsupervised manner. In this work we propose a novel clustering technique for BA which can find hidden routines in ubiquitous data and also captures the pattern in the routines. Our approach efficiently works on high dimensional data for BA without performing any computationally expensive reduction operations. We evaluate three different techniques namely Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA), the Non-negative Matrix Factorization (NMF), and the Probabilistic Latent Semantic Analysis (PLSA) for comparative study. We have analyzed the efficiency of the methods by using performance indices like perplexity and silhouette on three real-world ubiquitous sensor datasets namely, the Intel Lab, Kyoto, and MERL. Through rigorous experiments, we achieve silhouette scores of 0.7049 over the Intel Lab dataset, 0.6547 over the Kyoto dataset, and 0.8312 over the MERL dataset for clustering. In these cases, however, it is di cult to validate the results obtained as the datasets do not contain any ground truth information. Towards that, we investigate a self- supervised method that will be capable of capturing the inherent ground truths that are avail- able in the dataset. We design a self-supervised technique which we apply on datasets containing ground truth and also without. We see that our performance on data without ground truth differs from that with ground truth by approximately 8% (F-score) hence showing the efficacy of self- supervised techniques towards capturing ground truth information.

42 FANETs in Agriculture - A routing protocol survey
FANETs در کشاورزی - مرور پروتکل مسیریابی-2022
Breakthrough advances on communication technology, electronics and sensors have led to integrated commercialized products ready to be deployed in several domains. Agriculture is and has always been a domain that adopts state of the art technologies in time, in order to optimize productivity, cost, convenience, and environmental protection. The deployment of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) in agriculture constitutes a recent example. A timely topic in UAV deployment is the transition from a single UAV system to a multi-UAV system. Collaboration and coordination of multiple UAVs can build a system that far exceeds the capabilities of a single UAV. However, one of the most important design problems multi- UAV systems face is choosing the right routing protocol which is prerequisite for the co- operation and collaboration among UAVs. In this study, an extensive review of Flying Ad- hoc network (FANET) routing protocols is performed, where their different strategies and routing techniques are thoroughly described. A classification of UAV deployment in agri- culture is conducted resulting in six (6) different applications: Crop Scouting, Crop Survey- ing and Mapping, Crop Insurance, Cultivation Planning and Management, Application of Chemicals, and Geofencing. Finally, a theoretical analysis is performed that suggests which routing protocol can serve better each agriculture application, depending on the mobility models and the agricultural-specific application requirements.

44 Fog Node Self-Control Middleware: Enhancing context awareness towards autonomous decision making in Fog Colonies
میان افزار خودکنترلی گره مه: افزایش آگاهی از زمینه به سمت تصمیم گیری مستقل در کلونی های مه-2022
The concept of Fog Colonies has recently been introduced in Fog Computing, and is rapidly gaining attention. As Fog Colonies are extended, Fog Colony Control mechanisms have gained significant interest. Although, there are numerous solutions efficiently supporting a Context Aware coordinating entity, exploring approaches for decentralized control remains a challenge. Towards this direction, there are efforts promoting the concept of autonomous Fog Nodes, making their own decisions with internalized control without the existence of a coordinating entity. In this paper we propose and implement a Context Aware Self-Control management middleware for Fog Nodes, enabling their Self-Management utilizing contextual information shared between Fog colony members. To that end, we employ Policy Rulebooks to define Context Aware Policies that each Fog Node can enforce. Finally, we evaluated the proposed middleware against a non Context Aware one, under exactly the same conditions, using a real-world smart building use case, focusing on performance issues related to the end-user.

45 Introducing an application of an industry 4:0 solution for circular supply chain management
معرفی کاربرد راه حل صنعت 4:0 برای مدیریت حلقه تأمین دایره ای-2021
In recent years, sustainable supply chain management practices have been adopted by companies that desire to reduce the negative environmental and social impacts within their supply chains. Within this perspective, a circular approach has been developed in the supply chain literature. Circular economy models and solutions assisted by industry 4.0 technologies have been developed to transform products in the end of their life cycle into new products with different use. In this paper an industry 4.0 waste-to- energy solution is developed and applied in a pilot case study comprised by a real-world supply chain to evaluate the sustainability performance of circular supply chain management (CSCM). The findings show that redesigning supply chains for circular economy with the use of Industry 4.0 technologies, can enable circular supply chain management. Clear benefits are provided linking the proposed solution to the six circular economy dimensions of the ReSOLVE model i.e. regenerate, share, optimize, loop, virtualise, and exchange. Improved availability of personnel (5% and 15%) and fleet resources (15%) are identified as some of the key quantitative benefits, while supply chain traceability through the full visibility and automation offered by the proposed solution, are some of the key non-quantifiable out- comes. The present work seeks to contribute to the existing literature by providing empirical evidence of how industry 4.0 and circular economy are applied in practice. Implications for managers and policy makers, along with the study limitations and further research paths are also presented.© 2021 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd. 46 Adaptive Management of Multimodal Biometrics—A Deep Learning and Metaheuristic Approach
مدیریت تطبیقی بیومتریک چند حالته - یادگیری عمیق و رویکرد فرا مکاشفه ای-2021
This paper introduces the framework for adaptive rank-level biometric fusion: a new approach towards personal authentication. In this work, a novel attempt has been made to identify the optimal design parameters and framework of a multibiometric system, where the chosen biometric traits are subjected to rank-level fusion. Optimal fusion parameters depend upon the security level demanded by a particular biometric application. The proposed framework makes use of a metaheuristic approach towards adaptive fusion in the pursuit of achieving optimal fusion results at varying levels of security. Rank-level fusion rules have been employed to provide optimum performance by making use of Ant Colony Optimization technique. The novelty of the reported work also lies in the fact that the proposed design engages three biometric traits simultaneously for the first time in the domain of adaptive fusion, so as to test the efficacy of the system in selecting the optimal set of biometric traits from a given set. Literature reveals the unique biometric characteristics of the fingernail plate, which have been exploited in this work for the rigorous experimentation conducted. Index, middle and ring fingernail plates have been taken into consideration, and deep learning feature-sets of the three nail plates have been extracted using three customized pre-trained models, AlexNet, ResNet-18 and DenseNet-201. The adaptive multimodal performance of the three nail plates has also been checked using the already existing methods of adaptive fusion designed for addressing fusion at the score-level and decision- level. Exhaustive experiments have been conducted on the MATLAB R2019a platform using the Deep Learning Toolbox. When the cost of false acceptance is 1.9, experimental results obtained from the proposed framework give values of the average of the minimum weighted error rate as low as 0.0115, 0.0097 and 0.0101 for the AlexNet, ResNet-18 and DenseNet-201 based experiments respectively. Results demonstrate that the proposed system is capable of computing the optimal parameters for rank-level fusion for varying security levels, thus contributing towards optimal performance accuracy.© 2021 Elsevier B.V. 47 Pain management for infants – Myths, misconceptions, barriers; knowledge and knowledge gaps
مدیریت درد برای نوزادان - افسانه ها، باورهای غلط، موانع؛ دانش و شکاف دانش-2021
Twelve years ago, the paper ‘Oral sucrose for pain management in infants: Myths and misconceptions’ was published in the Journal of Neonatal Nursing. At this time, eight myths or misconceptions were addressed. Since this time there has been more than 100 studies published reporting on analgesic effects of sweet solutions in newborns, which have been synthesised and included in systematic reviews. There has also been a growth of literature to support analgesic effects of breastfeeding and skin-to-skin care as well as concerning evidence of adverse long-term neurobehavioural outcomes associated with painful procedures. Yet, ongoing studies of pain management practices continue to report inconsistent use of these strategies during painful procedures. We are therefore at a cross-roads of evidence – there is knowledge of effective treatments, knowledge of harm of untreated pain, yet sick, premature as well as healthy infants are continuing to be exposed to painful procedures with no effective treatment. There are however ongoing myths, misconceptions, and practical barriers to using the evidence as well as ongoing knowledge gaps. This paper will therefore highlight existing myths, misconceptions, barriers and current knowledge gaps to using the three key evidence-based pain management strategies of breastfeeding, skin-to-skin care and sweet solutions, in the hope that this will bring to light newborn infant pain treatment practices that can be improved.

48 Environmental hotspots analysis: A systematic framework for food supply chains and implementation case in the UK poultry industry
تجزیه و تحلیل کانون های محیطی: چارچوبی سیستماتیک برای زنجیره های تأمین مواد غذایی و موارد پیاده سازی در صنعت طیور انگلیس-2021
Environmental sustainability analyses of end-to-end food supply chain (SC) operations need to be per- formed regularly to accommodate reconfiguration opportunities arising in the global business landscape. This research scrutinises the pertinent literature and identifies the challenges of data availability, data obsolescence, computational complexity, and data specificity that associate to well-established environmental assessment methodologies, and proposes a stepwise approach that considers key players and processes for generating “close to real-time snapshots” of the main environmental hotspots for the focus firm. The applicability of the proposed systematic approach is demonstrated via an implementation at a resource-intensive sector of significant scale, i.e., the UK poultry industry. Overall, this research con- tributes to the SC environmental sustainability management domain by guiding the mapping and identification of environmental hotspots across end-to-end networks of operations in the form of a stepwise framework, and through articulating several research propositions.© 2021 Elsevier Ltd. 49 Nurses perspectives on pain management practices during newborn blood sampling in China
دیدگاه های پرستاران در مورد شیوه های مدیریت درد در طی نمونه گیری خون نوزادان در چین-2021
Introduction: Nurses’ use of evidence-based pain treatments for newborns during needle-related procedures in China was unknown. This study aimed to ascertain knowledge and use of pain management strategies and usefulness of a publicly accessible ’BSweet2Babies’ video, produced in Mandarin, demonstrating the use of breastfeeding, skin-to-skin care (SSC), and sweet solutions during painful procedures. Methods: An online survey was conducted during six nursing conferences in China ascertaining nurses’ previous viewing of the video and knowledge and use of the demonstrated strategies. Results: 221 nurses participated. Only 25 (11.3%) had previously seen the video. Over half knew that breast- feeding (n = 138, 62.4%) and SSC (n = 173, 78.3%) reduced pain, and 89 (40.3%) knew that sucrose reduced pain, but these strategies were infrequently used. Most intended to use the strategies in the future. Discussion: A knowledge-to-action gap for newborn pain management was identified. Future research is needed to improve the implementation of effective pain treatment for newborns.

50 Evaluation of six commercial SARS-CoV-2 rapid antigen tests in nasopharyngeal swabs: Better knowledge for better patient management?
ارزیابی شش تست آنتی ژن سریع SARS-COV-2 در سواب های نازوفارنکس: دانش بهتر برای مدیریت بهتر بیمار؟-2021
Robust antigen point-of-care SARS-CoV-2 tests have been proposed as an efficient tool to address the COVID-19 pandemic. This requirement was raised after acknowledging the constraints that are brought by molecular biology. However, worldwide markets have been flooded with cheap and potentially underperforming lateral flow assays. Herein we retrospectively compared the overall performance of five qualitative rapid antigen SARS- CoV-2 assays and one quantitative automated test on 239 clinical swabs. While the overall sensitivity and specificity are relatively similar for all tests, concordance with molecular based methods varies, ranging from 75,7% to 83,3% among evaluated tests. Sensitivity is greatly improved when considering patients with higher viral excretion (Ct≤33), proving that antigen tests accurately distinguish infectious patients from viral shedding. These results should be taken into consideration by clinicians involved in patient triage and management, as well as by national authorities in public health strategies and for mass campaign approaches.
