Model-Predictive Quantum Control via Hamiltonian Learning
مدل-کنترل کوانتومی پیشبینیکننده از طریق یادگیری همیلتونی-2022 This work proposes an end-to-end framework for the learning-enabled control of closed
quantum systems. The proposed learning technique is the first of its kind to utilize a hierarchical design
which layers probing control, quantum state tomography, quantum process tomography, and Hamiltonian
learning to identify both the internal and control Hamiltonians. Within this context, a novel quantum
process tomography algorithm is presented which involves optimization on the unitary group, i.e., the
space of unitary operators, to ensure physically meaningful predictions. Our scalable Hamiltonian learning
algorithms have low memory requirements and tunable computational complexity. Once the Hamiltonians
are learned, we formalize data-driven model-predictive quantum control (MPQC). This technique utilizes
the learned model to compute quantum control parameters in a closed-loop simulation. Then, the optimized
control input is given to a physical quantum system in an open-loop fashion. Simulations show modelpredictive quantum control to be more efficient than the current state-of-the-art, quantum optimal control,
when sequential quadratic programming (SQP) is used to solve each control problem.

An exploration of local rules to map spawning processes to regular hardware architectures
کاوشی در قوانین محلی برای نگاشت فرآیندهای تخم ریزی به معماری های سخت افزاری معمولی-2022 This thesis presents an exploration of population growth via simulation in software to ascertain if a massively parallel hardware system can manage applications running within.
Task execution happens dynamically and is controlled by the growth mechanism implementing efficient mapping in simulation.
Algorithms that provide population simulation models are often inspired by those
evidenced in biology and in particular those of cellular automata and L-systems. These
algorithms are of particular interest due to their complexity and self-replication and
recent research has shown that it is the refinement of the biological methodology that
has resulted in their complexity. Further to this, adaptation of the design has moved the
algorithm on towards being able to organize and build itself from a single cell. A growth
model is utilized in software systems to provide production of meaningful data. The
development of bio-inspired software is constrained by using contemporary processor
architectures. |

QuantMark: A Benchmarking API for VQE Algorithms
QuantMark: یک API معیار برای الگوریتم های VQE-2022 Thanks to the rise of quantum computers, many variations of the variational quantum eigensolver (VQE) have been proposed in recent times. This is a promising development for real quantum
algorithms, as the VQE is a promising algorithm that runs on current quantum hardware. However, the
popular method of comparing your algorithm versus a classical baseline in a small basis set is not meaningful
in the big picture. Moreover, many papers use a different molecular representation or a different quantum
computer to test their algorithms such that the used baselines are different between different papers. Thus,
it is almost impossible to compare the different algorithms to each other. As a solution, we have built a
benchmarking framework to standardize the VQE performance metrics, such that they can be analyzed more
easily. Using our framework, any researcher working on the VQE can easily test their own algorithms against
previous ones on the leaderboard without the need to reproduce previous work themselves.

Quantum Pin Codes
پین کدهای کوانتومی-2022 We introduce quantum pin codes: a class of quan-
tum CSS codes. Quantum pin codes are a generalization of
quantum color codes and Reed-Muller codes and share a lot of
their structure and properties. Pin codes have gauge operators,
an unfolding procedure and their stabilizers form so-called
-orthogonal spaces meaning that the joint overlap between any
stabilizer elements is always even. This last feature makes
them interesting for devising magic-state distillation protocols,
for instance by using puncturing techniques. We study examples
of these codes and their properties.

Implementation and Calibration of an IoT Light Attenuation Turbidity Sensor
پیاده سازی و کالیبراسیون سنسور مه آلود تضعیف نور اینترنت اشیا-2022 Turbidity is an important characteristic of water quality that can indicate the presence of un-
desirable suspended particulate matter. Having access to an inexpensive and effective turbidity
sensor unlocks numerous Internet of Things (IoT) possibilities for remote environmental moni-
toring. Optical light attenuation turbidity sensors operate on the premise of detecting signal
degradation from a light source due to scattering from particles in a solution. This approach is
technologically unpretentious and only requires a handful of inexpensive electronic components
to construct. However, while this method is touted as “simple”, a significant challenge lies in
sensor calibration. That is, converting an analogue signal into a meaningful and accurate digital
reading in a known turbidity measurement standard (e.g., Nephelometric Turbidity Units (NTU)).
This paper presents an IoT light attenuation turbidity sensor design and explores the calibration
process to determine the sensor’s range and accuracy. Sensor calibration is undertaken using
Formazin turbidity standards and is cross-checked against a commercial turbidimeter. We provide
a step-by-step procedure for determining the correct signal strength to use and a functional form
for the sensor response to the Formazin standard. Finally, we specify an estimate of the accuracy
of the sensor and suggest the next steps in the proposed turbidity sensor’s development. Results
indicate that the sensor achieves within 2%-10% of accuracy at higher ranges (100–4000 NTU),
but its performance becomes significantly less reliable in low NTU ranges (< 100 NTU) where the
error rate increases to 26%. The turbidity sensor is used as part of an IoT remote aquatic envi-
ronmental monitoring platform. keywords: Internet of underwater things | Turbidity | Affordable sensors | Calibration | attenuation turbidimeter |

Critical reflections of accounting and social impact (Part II)
بازتاب های انتقادی حسابداری و تاثیر اجتماعی (قسمت دوم)-2021 In recent decades, non-government organisations (NGOs) and not-for-profit organisations (NPOs) have grown in importance
worldwide (Salamon, Sokolowski, Haddock, & Tice, 2013). While NGOs and NPOs differ substantively, many provide support and
services to the neediest and most vulnerable in society and fill gaps in private sector service provision. Much of their work is focused on
humanitarian and environmental causes to promote social change, develop society, improve communities, and increase citizen
participation (Banks, Hulme, & Edwards, 2015). Thus, NPOs and NGOs in particular have an important role to play in social, community and sustainable development, providing a meaningful area for critical research into accounting and social impact. From here
on we shall refer to NPO and NGOs as non-profit organisations.

The role and meaning of lessons learned in project knowledge management in organizations in Poland
نقش و معنای درس های آموخته شده در مدیریت دانش پروژه در سازمان ها در لهستان-2021 The aim of this article is to establish the role and meaning of lessons learned collection and application practices in project
knowledge management based on an empirical research in organizations running operations in Poland. The analysis conducted
for the purpose of this article included hypothesis verification by means of statistical testing performed on data gathered from an
online survey distributed among project management professionals in Poland. The testing results revealed that Polish project
managers and project team members present positive attitude towards lessons learned practices and that there is a statistically
significant correlation between lessons learned collection and application practices and benefits realization in terms of scope,
time and budget in projects in the surveyed organizations differentiated by means of sector of operations, project maturity level
and organizational culture. Also, specific barriers and obstacles in learning lessons from past experience in project management
have been found and correlated with lessons learned collection and application practice.

How viable is password cracking in digital forensic investigation? Analyzing the guessability of over 3:9 billion real-world accounts
شکستن رمز عبور در تحقیقات پزشکی قانونی دیجیتال چقدر قابل اجرا است؟ تجزیه و تحلیل قابلیت حدس زدن بیش از 3:9 میلیارد حساب در دنیای واقعی-2021 Passwords have been and still remain the most common method of authentication in computer systems.
These systems are therefore privileged targets of attackers, and the number of data breaches in the last
few years attests to that. A detailed analysis of such data can provide insight on password trends and
patterns users follow when they create a password. To this end, this paper presents the largest and most
comprehensive analysis of real-world passwords to date e associated with over 3.9 billion accounts from
Have I Been Pwned. This analysis includes statistics on use and most common patterns found in passwords and innovates with a breakdown of the constituent fragments that make each password.
Furthermore, a classification of these fragments according to their semantic meaning, provides insight on
the role of context in password selection. Finally, we provide an in-depth analysis on the guessability of
these real-world passwords.

Time management: Improving the timing of post-prostatectomy radiotherapy, clinical trials, and knowledge translation
مدیریت زمان: بهبود زمان رادیوتراپی پس از پروستاتکتومی، آزمایشات بالینی و ترجمه دانش-2021 Background: Management of prostate cancer after surgery is controversial. Past studies on adjuvant radiotherapy
(aRT) for higher-risk features have had conflicting results. Through the collaborative conversations of the global
radiation oncology Twitter-based journal club (#RadOnc #JC), we explored this complex topic to share recent
advances, better understand what the global radiation oncology community felt was important and inspire next
steps.
Methods: We selected the recent publication of a landmark international randomized controlled trial (RCT)
comparing immediate and salvage radiotherapy for prostate cancer, RADICALS-RT, for discussion over the
weekend of January 16 to 17, 2021. Coordination included open access to the article and an asynchronous
portion to decrease barriers to participation, cooperation of study authors (CP, MS) who participated to share
deeper insights including a live hour, and curation of related resources and tweet content through a blog post and
Wakelet journal club summary.
Discussion of Results: Our conversations created 2,370,104 impressions over 599 tweets with 51 participants
spanning 11 countries and 5 continents. A quarter of the participants were from the US (13/51) followed by 10%
from the UK (5/51). Clinical or Radiation Oncologists comprised 59% of active participants (16/27) with 62%
(18/29) reporting giving aRT within the last 5 years. Discussion was interdisciplinary with three urologists
(11%), three trainees (11%), and two physiotherapists (7%). Four months after the journal club its article Altmetric
score had increased by 7% (214 to 229). Thematic analysis of tweet content suggested participants wanted
clarification on definitions of adjuvant (aRT) and salvage radiotherapy (sRT) including indications, timing, and
decision-making tools including guidelines; more interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral collaboration including
with patients for study design including survivorship and meaningful outcomes; more effective knowledge
translation including faster clinical trials; and more data including mature results of current trials, particular
high-risk features (Gleason Group 4+, pT4b+, and margin-positive disease), implications of newer technologies
such as PSMA-PET and genomic classifiers, and better explanations for practice pattern variations including
underutilization of radiotherapy. This was further explored in the context of relevant literature.
Conclusion: Together, this global collaborative review on the postoperative management of prostate cancer
suggested a stronger signal for the uptake of early salvage radiation treatment with careful PSA monitoring, more
sensitive PSA triggers, and expected access to radiotherapy. Questions still remain on potential exceptions and barriers to use. These require better decision-making tools for all practice settings, consideration of newer
technologies, more pragmatic trials, and better use of social media for knowledge translation.

Stages of Knowledge Representation on the Example of the Typology of Interdisciplinarity: Philosophical Aspects
هیچ یک-2021 It is suggested, when creating knowledge management mechanisms to avoid any extremes in their presentation: various "centrisms", hypertrophy in the use of both mathematical and verbal-meaningful knowledge. It is shown that it is important to observe the principle of "ethics of engagement ", which can be implemented on the basis of a productive interdisciplinary synthesis. The stages of knowledge presentation are considered on the basis of the typology of interdisciplinarity. It is argued that the stage of semantisation (conceptualization) of knowledge representation, when creating control systems, should be preceded by the stage of ontologization. It enhances the distinctiveness of knowledge representation. The stage of ontologization is necessary for the construction of more detailed explanatory constructions, due to the greater formalization of the ontological representation, in comparison with the stage of semantisation. It is assumed that the taxonomy stage can become the basis for the ontologization of knowledge representation, for example, in knowledge engineering.
