Vision-based path detection of an automated guided vehicle using flower pollination algorithm
تشخیص مسیر مبتنی بر دید یک وسیله نقلیه هدایت شده خودکار با استفاده از الگوریتم گرده افشانی گل-2021 The automated guided vehicle (AGV) with sensor recognition method is having shortcomings such as high cost and noise. In this regard, the flower pollination algorithm (FPA) is applied in the path detection system of an AGV, in combination with computer vision. The path detection system starts with image acquisition using an onboard camera. The captured image is then preprocessed to obtain simple contrast of the path. Subsequently, the FPA is used to find a set of solution points fall inside the path zone. A regression model is formed as path guidance for AGV to travel accordingly. The performance of FPA is analyzed via simulation and real-world experiment using a robotic platform and tested on commonly seen line patterns in the industrial environment. The effectiveness of FPA in path detection is also com- pared with particle swarm optimization. The obtained results demonstrate the promising feasibility of the proposed FPA-based path detection system.© 2020 The Authors. Face recognition: fighting the fakes
Face recognition: fighting the fakes-2021 Facial biometrics have become increasingly popular authentication tools for
three main reasons. First, the user experience is familiar. Onboarding is easy –
basically like taking a selfie – and since cameras are already on mobile devices,
they’re ubiquitously accessible. Second, they remove much, if not all of the
friction that users encounter trying to remember passwords. Third, the
technology works – and it’s getting better every year.

Truck scheduling in a multi-door cross-docking center with partial unloading : Reinforcement learning-based simulated annealing approaches
زمانبندی کامیون در یک مرکز متصل متقابل چند درب با تخلیه جزئی: رویکردهای بازپخت شبیه سازی شده مبتنی بر یادگیری تقویتی -2020 In this paper, a truck scheduling problem at a cross-docking center is investigated where inbound trucks are also
used as outbound. Moreover, inbound trucks do not need to unload and reload the demand of allocated destination,
i.e. they can be partially unloaded. The problem is modeled as a mixed integer program to find the
optimal dock-door and destination assignments as well as the scheduling of trucks to minimize makespan. Due to
model complexity, a hybrid heuristic-simulated annealing is developed. A number of generic and tailor-made
neighborhood search structures are also developed to efficiently search solution space. Moreover, some reinforcement
learning methods are applied to intellectually learn more suitable neighborhood search structures in
different situations. Finally, the numerical study shows that partial unloading of compound trucks has a crucial
impact on makespan reduction. Keywords: Logistics | Cross docking | Truck scheduling | Simulated annealing | Reinforcement learning |

Women with a substance use disorder: Treatment completion, pregnancy, and compulsory treatment
زنان مبتلا به اختلال مصرف مواد: پایان درمان ، بارداری و درمان اجباری-2020 Over the last several decades, research regarding substance use treatment programs has focused on the unique
and differential outcomes of male and female illicit substance users. Research less frequently examines the
unique individual and contextual factors that may influence treatment outcomes. One such population that
merits special consideration is pregnant women, as substance use within this population has deleterious effects
for both the women and their unborn children. The current study employs propensity score matching to determine
if pregnancy and referral source to treatment affect treatment program outcomes. Findings suggest that
pregnant women, compared to similarly situated nonpregnant women, are significantly less likely to complete
substance use treatment; however, pregnant women who were referred to treatment by the criminal justice
system were significantly more likely to complete treatment than those who entered treatment by other referral
sources. Keywords: Substance abuse treatment | Illicit drug use | Pregnant | Treatment episode data |

On the global finite-time stabilization of bilinear systems by homogeneous feedback laws. Applications to some PDE’s
تثبیت زمان محدود جهانی سیستمهای دوقطبی توسط قوانین بازخورد همگن. برنامه های کاربردی برای برخی از PDE-2020 In this paper, the problem of global finite-time stabilization of bilinear control systems by means of homogeneous feedback law is investigated. We prove under some reasonable assumptions on the operators Aand Bthat continuous bounded and discontinuous unbounded feedbacks stabilize globally in finite-time the closed loop system. For illustrative, the examples of heat, Schrödinger and transport equations are considered where homogeneous stabilizing feedback is built for these systems. Event-triggered reinforcement learning control for the quadrotor UAV with actuator saturation
کنترل یادگیری تقویت کننده رویداد برای پهپاد کوادروتور با اشباع محرک-2020 This paper proposes an event-triggered reinforcement learning (RL) control strategy to stabilize the
quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with actuator saturation. As the quadrotor UAV equips with
a complex dynamic is difficult to be model accurately, a model free reinforcement learning scheme is
designed. Due to the practical limitation of actuators, the end of controller is constrained with a bounded
function. In order to reduce the calculation consumption for the onboard computer, an event-triggered
mechanism is developed, which only update the controller when the triggered condition is satisfied.
The proposed controller is implemented with two neural networks which are called critic and actor.
Some advanced RL technologies are utilized for speeding up the train process, e.g. off-policy training,
experience replay, etc. The stability of closed-loop system is proved by the Lyapunov analysis. The simulation
results including a stability task and a tracking task verify the theoretical analysis, in which we
find the updating frequency of controller is decreased greatly. Keywords: Quadrotor | UAV | Reinforcement learning | Flight control | Event-triggered control | Actuator saturation |

An analysis of cybersecurity in Dutch annual reports of listed companies
تجزیه و تحلیل امنیت سایبری در گزارش های سالانه هلندی شرکت های فهرست شده-2020 Keywords: Cybersecurity Financial law Annual report Information sharing Security regulationIn this paper we study the disclosure of cybersecurity information in Dutch annual reports, such as cybersecurity measures and cyber incidents, from a financial law and economics perspective. We start our discussion with an analysis of the requirements in financial law to disclose cybersecurity information in annual reports. Hereafter, we discuss the incentives for the board regarding disclosing cybersecurity related information and its effect on stakeholders and shareholders. We draft hypotheses regarding the actual disclosure of cy- bersecurity information and propose a research design of an exploring empirical study. The results of our study show that although there is no strict legal obligation to do so, 87% of the companies mention cybersecurity or similar words in their annual report in 2018. However, only 4 out of 75 companies disclosed more than six specific cybersecurity measures, while openness would generate the highest surplus for society from a social welfare perspective. Some major Dutch banks and employment agencies did not disclose any specific information with regard to their cybersecurity strategy, while those companies are highly vulnerable for cybersecurity incidents. This hampers the protection of creditors, investors and other stakeholders. Our analysis aims to propel the debate on stimulation of self-regulation or possible obligations in financial law concerning cybersecurity in annual reports.© 2020 E.V.A. Eijkelenboom and B.F.H. Explicit dynamic approach for unbounded domains in frictional contact with Rate and State laws
رویکرد پویای صریح برای دامنه های بدون مرز در تماس اصطکاک با میزان قوانین ایالتی-2020 The paper explores the ability of an explicit time integration procedure to simulate the dynamics of shear rupture
between unbounded elastic blocks on frictional interface, modeled with the finite element method. The behaviour
of the interface is governed by Rate and State (RS) friction laws, proposed to describe the rate dependent phenomena
observed in experiments on rocks and many other materials in sliding contact. The method for the
frictional contact between bodies is integrated in the framework of heterogeneous asynchronous time integrator
(HATI). Dual formulation, requiring the introduction of Lagrange multipliers, is adopted by dealing in a weak way
with the normal contact conditions as well as the tangential frictional conditions expressed in velocity. Taking
advantage of the flexibility of the HATI framework, precise formulations of Perfectly Matched Layers (PML) are
also incorporated, enabling us to treat semi-infinite media in frictional contact. Simulations concerning an unbounded
elastic block on a rigid flat plane, initially compressed and sheared with remote loadings, are carried out.
Advantages of the PML are underlined during the preliminary stages of loading as well as during the nucleation
and propagation of the shear rupture along the interface. Numerical oscillations inherent from the high nonlinearity
of the RS friction law, characterized by significant variations of the friction coefficient with small
changes in tangential velocity, are drastically reduced thanks to the HATI method. Keywords: Finite element method | Hybrid asynchronous time integrator | Frictional contact | Rate and State friction law | Unbounded domains | Perfectly matched layers |

Clean energy production by PEM fuel cells on tourist ships: A time-dependent analysis
تولید انرژی پاک توسط سلولهای سوختی PEM در کشتی های توریستی: یک تحلیل وابسته به زمان-2020 This manuscript presents a clean energy solution for marine applications, investigating
both the choice of the most promising production and storage technologies and, in a
second step, the best operational management in order to satisfy a ship’s energy demand.
The case study subject of the analysis is a ferry, with a capacity up to 200 people, operating
on the artificial lake of Itaipu hydroelectric plant (on the border between Brazil and
Paraguay). In the framework of new international rules, aimed at clean and sustainable
solutions, in particular in Emission Control Areas, PEM fuel cells are a promising technology
for onboard power generation. In this paper a PEM fuel cell system is investigated in
detail, analyzing the best operative strategy in terms of energy efficiency, CO2 emissions
and costs, in comparison with the state-of-the-art solution for ships (fuel oil ICEs). The
analysis is performed with two dedicated software tools, both developed at the University
of Genoa: the first is a tool modeled to support the preliminary design and the choice of the
most promising solutions for maritime applications; the second is a software program for
thermo-economic analysis of energy systems in time-dependent conditions, aimed at
determination of the best operative strategy, minimizing operative costs.
The proposed approach has general validity thus it can also be applied to different kinds
of ships, even considering different technologies for energy generation and storage. Keywords: Hydrogen | Fuel cells | Marine energy systems | Energy systems management | Pollutants mitigation |
