1 Development and Validation of Scale using Rasch Analysis to Measure Students’ Entrepreneurship Readiness to Learn Embedded System Design Course
توسعه و اعتبارسنجی مقیاس با استفاده از تجزیه و تحلیل Rasch برای اندازه گیری آمادگی کارآفرینی دانشجویان برای یادگیری دوره طراحی سیستم تعبیه شده-2020
Embedded systems are growing rapidly as the technology paves the way for the rise of future of smart manufacturing through a wide range of industries. The intensity demands of innovation required a steady supply of innovative and entrepreneurship engineers to ensures the industry players have a sustainable supply of talent to fuel their growth and investments. The university acknowledge the current and future demand of the labour market by offering embedded system course that are developed to equipped the next generation engineers with innovation and entrepreneurship skills to enable them to turn their ideas into reality. This paper developed and validated a scale to measure the student entrepreneurship skills readiness for embedded systems design course using the Rasch analysis. The content validity results show that CVR is 0.92 and CVI is 0.96 indicating an excellent content validity. The pilot test result show that the scale Cronbach alpha is 0.80 indicating excellent scale reliability. The construct validity of the scale was evaluated using WINSTEPS version 3.92.1, with results indicated that all the items of the scale fit the Rasch model with satisfactoryfit index and showedexcellent consistency, with reliability alpha of 0.99 foe items and 0.75 for persons. The findings depicted that most of the students have poor business and entrepreneurship skills, such as marketing and negotiation abilities. Therefore, higher learning institutions need to embed acquirable entrepreneurial skills in the prerequisites courses to provide adequate training to the students, increasing their creativity and maximizing their potential to be successful entrepreneurs.© 2020 The Authors. 2 Beyond “one-size-fits-all” platforms: Applying Campbells paradigm to test personalized energy advice in the Netherlands
فراتر از سیستم عامل های "یک اندازه متناسب با همه": استفاده از الگوی کمپبلز برای آزمایش مشاوره انرژی شخصی در هلند-2019
When analyzing ways in which people save energy, most researchers and policy makers conceptually differentiate between curtailment (e.g. unplugging chargers) and efficiency measures (e.g. installing PV cells). However, such a two-dimensional approach is suboptimal from both a conceptual and policy perspective, as it does not consider individual differences that determine energy-saving behavior. We propose a different, onedimensional approach, applying Campbells Paradigm through the Rasch model, in which both curtailment and efficiency measures are intermixed on a single scale and ordered according to their behavioral costs. By matching these behavioral costs to individual energy-saving attitudes, we investigate to what extent attitudetailored energy-saving advice can help consumers to save energy. We present the results of two studies. The first study (N=263) reliably calibrated a one-dimensional Rasch scale that consists of 79 energy-saving measures, suitable for advice. The second study employed this scale to investigate how users (N=196) evaluate attitude-tailored energy-saving advice in a web-based energy recommender system. Results indicate that Rasch-based recommendations can be used to effectively tailor energysaving advice and that such attitude-tailored advice is more adequate than a number of non-personalized approaches.

3 Comparing trained and untrained teachers on their use of LMS tools using the Rasch analysis
مقایسه معلمان آموزش دیده و آموزش ندیده از نظر استفاده آنها از ابزار LMS با استفاده از تحلیل راچ-2018
Measuring training outcomes is important given the resources universities invest in staff learning management system (LMS) training. In this paper we show how the effect of LMS training on LMS usage can be evaluated using Rasch analysis of teachers LMS usage activity logs by making comparisons between teachers who have attended training and those who have not. Our analysis showed that teachers who attended LMS training workshops had higher LMS activity level compared with the untrained teachers. In particular, trained teachers tended to make relatively more use of ‘grade centre’ and of ‘assessment tool’ but relatively less use of ‘content’ in their teaching compared with teachers who did not attend training. The results support Rasch analysis as a useful approach for evaluating the effect of training across a large number of courses and extend understanding from findings from self-report studies of training effectiveness. They also provide insights that inform training practice and highlight its importance for development of online teaching. Implications for professional development of online teaching and the evaluation are discussed.

4 A Practical Approach to Modeling Complex Adaptive Flows in Psychology and Social Science
یک رویکرد عملی برای مدل سازی جریانهای تطبیقی پیچیده در روانشناسی و علوم اجتماعی-2017
Five moments in the formation and functioning of complex adaptive systems are: (1) emergent regularities and patterns in the flow of matter, energy, and/or information; (2) condensed schematic representations of these regularities enabling their identification; (3) reproductively interchangeable variants of these representations serving as templates for new instances of the pattern; (4) successful reproduction facilitated by the accuracy and reliability of the representations’ predictions of data flow regularities; and (5) informational feedback that adaptively modifies and reorganizes representations to incorporate new variations in the data flow, cycling back the first moment. These five moments are instantiated via stochastic models providing practical approaches to representing and managing complex adaptive psychological and social systems in education, health care, human resource management, etc. Local independence, unidimensionality, and statistical sufficiency criteria function as means of identifying, evaluating, and deploying conceptual and social forms of life acting as evolving agents in defined ecological niches. Bringing these agents into play systematically requires embodying them in technologies instrumental to making them readily recognizable and sharable across ecosystem niches. Modeling research and practice promoting sustainable and self-organizing ecosystems of this kind set the stage for redefining profit in terms of authentic wealth and value for life.
