The implementation of the ‘‘Internet +” policy advocated by the state has also led to rapid development of Internet finance. In order to promote changes in business development models, as a pioneering work for banks serving the real economy, supply chains are being developed to address small and medium-sized enterprises. The financing of enterprises, the transformation and development needs of banks themselves, and the promotion of logistics technology. Edge computing refers to an open platform that integrates network, data processing, storage and application core functions, and can provide the closest end-of-page service near the object data source to meet real-time, application intelligence, security and privacy Sexual needs. The core of supply chain financing is to establish an optimized plan that can effectively control supply chain financing. By integrating the financing literature of the supply chain, the settlement cost in the supply chain can be solved. Based on theoretical research, this article analyzes supply chain financing and block chain technology. Combined with the current specific situation of block chain in supply chain financing, the management system, cash flow of the supply chain, and risk control system are analyzed. All parties to the supply chain financing optimize the supply chain financing risk control system while reducing business costs and improving corporate efficiency, which greatly reduces the risks of all parties in the supply chain financing. The block chain Iota environment based on shared data and advanced data processing has very powerful theoretical and practical significance for promoting the development of commercial banks and enterprises.

2 X-PHM: Prognostics and health management knowledge-based framework for SME
X-PHM: پیش آگهی و چارچوب دانش مبتنی بر مدیریت سلامت برای SME-2021
Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) is an emerging concept based on industrial data management. The implementation of PHM in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is currently limited due to data accessibility difficulties. In order to overcome this pitfall, one could formalize the operators’ knowledge and integrate it in the SME’s information system. Thus, the implementation of the PHM will be based on this information system associating data with knowledge. To this end, we propose a collaborative PHM approach (X-PHM) to ensure the extraction of operators’ knowledge and its integration into the PHM process. The decision resulting from this approach is restituted with a concern of explainability. This paper details the proposed approach while focusing on the data management process and its integration in explainable decisions. This new framework is applied in a French SME to understand its production process and facilitate its digital transformation.

4 Top management knowledge value, knowledge sharing practices, open innovation and organizational performance

Open innovation as driver of organizational performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) has received relatively little scholarly attention. Drawing upon the resource-based view and the knowledge-based view of firms, we examined antecedents and outcome of open innovation in SMEs. We collected multisource data from 404 SMEs and used structural equation modeling to test the hypotheses. Our study suggests that top management knowledge value and knowledge creating practices influence open innovation, which, in turn, influences organizational performance. Results of the study are discussed in the light of previous studies and suggest implications for theory and practice of open innovation.

5 Knowledge management capabilities and organizational risk-taking for business model innovation in SMEs

In today’s business environment with fast growing communication and information technologies, knowledge management (KM) capabilities are a valuable source for innovation. However, little is known about the particular KM capabilities that lead to business model innovation (BMI) and whether their effect is dependent upon the firm’s orientation towards risk-taking. We examine the impact internal and external KM capabilities have on BMI and how these effects are moderated by its risk-taking tolerance. We empirically analyze a sample of 197 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) applying structural equation modeling (SEM) and fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA). The results from the SEM indicate that particularly external KM ca- pabilities stimulate BMI. This relationship is strengthened for firms with a high risk-taking tolerance. Internal knowledge is only effective for firms with a low risk-taking tolerance. The fsQCA results substantiate these findings and refine the SEM by providing particular antecedent conditions for high levels of BMI.

6 The CV effect: To what extent does the chance to reorganize depend on a bankruptcy judges profile?

This study explores the link between the individual profiles of French commercial judges and the bankruptcy cases they supervised between 2006 and 2012. A “Curriculum Vitae effect” prevails: the chance to reorganize after filing for bankruptcy varies with the composition of the chambers. We also confirm the existence of a limited (but not marginal) appointment bias, suggesting that bankruptcy cases are not fully randomized across judges. Several variables accounting for the judges’ profiles are found to be significant. The presence of female judges increases the chances of a successful plan (for continuation). We find a similar influence of the judges’ managerial skills and of the highest academic profiles. However, a mismatch between the judges’ profiles (mostly oriented toward big businesses) and bankrupt firms (closer to small and medium-sized enterprises) undermines the probability of reorganizing. We also focus on the two main filters for reorganization: i) the decision to open an observation period, and ii) the court supervision of such a period. Our findings provide normative recommendations to better align lay justice with litigants’ needs. The results from France can be extended to other mixed bankruptcy systems

7 Do stakeholder capabilities promote sustainable business innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises? Evidence from Italy

Sustainable innovation and its management have become fundamental forces for change in business and society. Paradoxically, little attention has been given to how small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) manage sustainable innovation in the current knowledge-intensive context. By studying 80 SMEs from the high-tech manufacturing sector in Italy, this research has found that, when combined with stakeholder engagement, sustainable innovation management becomes a pivotal phenomenon for new and established SMEs. Stakeholders proved instrumental in generating the sense of environmental responsibility in SMEs. As a pioneer combination of stakeholder theory and innovation management theory, our research found that stakeholder-related cap- abilities, both tangible and intangible, influence the firms orientation towards sustainable innovation, its environmental responsibility and related capabilities. Our research assists the sustainability, adaptation, innovation and growth orientation of SMEs in a knowledge-intensive environment by recommending that, in their relationship with stakeholders, SMEs become more open to co-create, share and reuse environmental knowledge.

9 Innovation and the entrepreneurial performance in women-owned small and medium-sized enterprises in Pakistan

Purpose: This study is an attempt to examine the impact of entrepreneurship and innovation on the entrepreneurial performance of women-owned small and medium-sized enterprises in Pakistan. The study also investigates the mediating role of innovation in the relationship between entrepreneurship and performance in women-owned businesses from emerging economy of Pakistan. Methodology/Approach: Data was collected from the 261 registered women entrepreneurs from all the fifteen Pakistani womens chambers of commerce and industries by employing self-administered questionnaires for complementing a comprehensive literature review on innovation and womens entrepreneurship and performance. Data were analyzed using hierarchical multiple regression and factor analysis. Findings: The results show a significant direct relationship between entrepreneurship, innovation and the entrepreneurial performance. The two entrepreneurial traits, namely risk taking tendency and the need for achievement have a significant effect on innovation and the entrepreneurial performance. Moreover, innovation has a direct relationship with performance and also it mediates the entrepreneurship- performance link of women- owned small and medium-sized enterprises in Pakistan. Research limitations: The present study is limited to only women entrepreneurs who are registered with the chambers of commerce and industries in Pakistan. Women entrepreneurs associated with federations and several women business development centers have not been considered in the population. Practical implications: This study emphasizes the significance of entrepreneurship to innovation and the entrepreneurial performance in women-owned SMEs. It is a major contribution to understanding the existing practices and theories of entrepreneurship and innovation in enterprises. In order to improve performance and innovation, management should focus and promote risk taking and the need for achievement. The government should initiate support programs for womens entrepreneurial activities; promote fair competition between men and women and give special grants to women entrepreneurs in order to improve their performance.

10 Price perception and price appearance on repurchase intention of Gen Y: do brand experience and brand preference mediate?

The study examines the effect of price perception and price appearance on Gen Ys repurchase intention towards snack products of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), along with the mediating roles of consumers brand experience and preference. A survey method for data collection in the study used with a structured questionnaire, in which the respondents were requested to give their responses to the experiment conducted on local specialty snack products produced by SMEs. Covariance-based structural equation modeling (CB-SEM) was used to analyze the hypothesized relationships in the research model. The findings show that all the direct effects in the proposed model have a significant effect, except for the relationship between price perception and brand preference that there is no significant effect. Similarly, the mediating roles of consumer brand experience and consumer-based brand preference proved to have a significant effect. Finally, the implications of this study will be discussed further.
