1 SG-DSN: A Semantic Graph-based Dual-Stream Network for facial expression recognition
SG-DSN: یک شبکه جریان دوگانه مبتنی بر نمودار معنایی برای تشخیص حالت چهره-2021
Facial expression recognition (FER) is a crucial task for human emotion analysis and has attracted wide interest in the field of computer vision and affective computing. General convolutional-based FER meth- ods rely on the powerful pattern abstraction of deep models, but they lack the ability to use semantic information behind significant facial areas in physiological anatomy and cognitive neurology. In this work, we propose a novel approach for expression feature learning called Semantic Graph-based Dual- Stream Network (SG-DSN), which designs a graph representation to model key appearance and geometric facial changes as well as their semantic relationships. A dual-stream network (DSN) with stacked graph convolutional attention blocks (GCABs) is introduced to automatically learn discriminative features from the organized graph representation and finally predict expressions. Experiments on three lab-controlled datasets and two in-the-wild datasets demonstrate that the proposed SG-DSN achieves competitive performance compared with several latest methods.© 2021 Published by Elsevier B.V.

2 Future Scenarios of Value Creation in Mechanical Engineering – Derivation of Recommendations for Action
سناریوهای آینده ارزش آفرینی در مهندسی مکانیک - استخراج توصیه هایی برای اقدام-2020
Increasing volatility and individualization has great impact on value creation, resulting in a complex and interdependent corporate environment. The analysis of possible developments of the future becomes a crucial success factor. By adopting the scenario technique this study aims at deriving future scenarios for value creation in the mechanical engineering context focusing on innovation leadership, differentiation through partnerships and hardware supplier status. The consistency is then evaluated and possible options for action are derived by mechanical engineering experts. The results not only support practitioners to understand future value creation but also inspires scientists conducting further research towards implementing futurology into strategy research.© 2020 The Authors. 3 Psychological factors of aggressive behaviour in patients of forensic psychiatry wards with the diagnosis of schizophrenia
عوامل روانشناختی رفتار پرخاشگرانه در بیماران بخش روانپزشکی قانونی با تشخیص اسکیزوفرنی-2020
Scientific research shows that the likelihood of aggressive behaviour in people with mental disorders compared to healthy people is usually higher than among healthy people. Considering the social harmfulness of acts committed by persons suffering from schizophrenia, a thorough analysis of their conditions is recommended. The paper presents the results of research conducted by a team from the Forensic Psychiatry Clinic of the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology (IPiN) in Warsaw regarding the psychological determinants of aggressive behaviour of people diagnosed with schizophrenia. The analysis covers selected demographic variables, personality traits as well as the level and type of aggression presented, including previously undertaken violent behaviour. This article includes the results of studies on patients diagnosed with schizophrenia, interned in the Forensic Psychiatry Clinic of IPiN, as well as patients with schizophrenia (addicted and non-addicted) staying in general psychiatric wards.

4 Medical malpractice liability and its consequences: A survey among AEU urologists
مسئولیت قصور پزشکی و پیامدهای آن: یک نظرسنجی در میان متخصصان اورولوژی AEU-2020
Introduction: Urology is a specialty of medium risk of claim. Receiving a claim for medical professional liability is a stressful experience with significant repercussions. The objective of this study was to assess the impact of these claims on Spanish urologists. Methodology: A survey on medical professional liability in urology was designed. The Spanish Association of Urology and the Urological Research Foundation approved the questionnaire, generated by the PIEM online tool. Results: The total number of responses obtained was 202 (11.6% rate), of which 25.24% reported having been claimed, 88% reported mood changes after being claimed, 100% in criminal proceedings. The level of emotional involvement reported was the highest at the beginning of the process and progressively decreasing until its resolution. An affected doctor---patient relationship was considered in 67.9% of cases and 71.4% acknowledged increased defensive medicine in their professional practice. A percentage of 6.7% considered leaving the profession. Discussion: The response rate obtained and the medical acts motivating the claims were comparable to those obtained in a similar survey conducted in the United States. The fact that claims are perceived as very stressful situations and may give rise to the phenomenon of the second victim or to the clinical judicial syndrome is clear, so efforts should be devoted to develop training in this matter and programs that address the consequences derived from these situations.

5 What is the nutritional status of your patients suffering from strokes
وضعیت تغذیه ای بیماران مبتلا به سکته مغزی چیست؟-2020
Strokes can significantly affect the autonomy and the ability of the patient to feed properly. Malnutrition after strokes increases the length of stay in hospital, increases mortality and aggravates disability. Nutritional support is a therapeutic that can be useful in the manage- ment of strokes and during the rehabilitation period. It may help to reduce the occurrence of complications due to the physical dependence associated with this condition. The objective of our study was to evaluate, through a questionnaire, the opinion of prescribing doctors working in the Department of Neurology of The FANN National Teaching Hospital in Dakar. The interest of the question resides in the fact that the Center does not have a dedicated nutritionist for inpatients. This was an opinion poll about their concerns about the nutritional status of patients in the therapeutic projects they propose during the stroke. The type of the chosen opinion poll was elementary, type random. The questionnaire was individual and consisted of five items of single-response and multiple-choice questions. The results of this study reveal that while the nutritional status of patients with limited autonomy in the service was a concern in the intentions of the prescribers, in practice it was not taken into account in therapeutic projects. To date, no structured protocol is available in cases of proven nutritional deterioration in patients. Nutritional management must be integrated into the overall management of Neurology patients, particularly in elderly victims of strokes.

6 Automating Ischemic Stroke Subtype Classification Using Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing
خودکار سازی طبقه بندی زیرگروه ایسکمیک سکته مغزی با استفاده از یادگیری ماشین و پردازش زبان طبیعی-2019
The manual adjudication of disease classification is time-consuming, error-prone, and limits scaling to large datasets. In ischemic stroke (IS), subtype classification is critical for management and outcome prediction. This study sought to use natural language processing of electronic health records (EHR) combined with machine learning methods to automate IS subtyping. Methods: Among IS patients from an observational registry with TOAST subtyping adjudicated by board-certified vascular neurologists, we analyzed unstructured text-based EHR data including neurology progress notes and neuroradiology reports using natural language processing. We performed several feature selection methods to reduce the high dimensionality of the features and 5-fold cross validation to test generalizability of our methods and minimize overfitting. We used several machine learning methods and calculated the kappa values for agreement between each machine learning approach to manual adjudication. We then performed a blinded testing of the best algorithm against a held-out subset of 50 cases. Results: Compared to manual classification, the best machine-based classification achieved a kappa of .25 using radiology reports alone, .57 using progress notes alone, and .57 using combined data. Kappa values varied by subtype being highest for cardioembolic (.64) and lowest for cryptogenic cases (.47). In the held-out test subset, machine-based classification agreed with rater classification in 40 of 50 cases (kappa .72). Conclusions: Automated machine learning approaches using textual data from the EHR shows agreement with manual TOAST classification. The automated pipeline, if externally validated, could enable large-scale stroke epidemiology research.

7 Retro-peritoneal paraganglioma, diagnosis and management
paraganglioma یکپارچه صفاقی، تشخیص و مدیریت-2018
Introduction. — Paragangliomas, defined as extra-adrenal chromaffin-cells tumors, are rarely located in the retro-peritoneum. Clinical presentation is similar to pheochromocytoma, and mainly depends on the producing character of the tumor. Positive diagnosis requires plasmatic and urinary hormonal assays. Radiological and isotopic explorations are essential before surgery. The only curative therapeutic strategy is surgical, associated to peri-operative prevention and monitoring of the frequently reported hemodynamic and cardiovascular disorders. Outcome depends of the metastatic character of the tumor, the presence of tumor remnant after surgi cal resection. Genetic study is recommended; the risk of recurrence and association to other neoplasm is more described in genetic forms. Material and methods. — Authors report 5 cases of retro-peritoneal paraganglioma, operated in the department of urology of Hospital, between 2013 and 2017. Observations are about 2 men and 3 women. Clinical presentation is not always specific and paraganglioma may be discovered fortuitously. Two patients have been operated by coelioscopic approach, midline incision was performed in two other cases, and dorsal lumbotomy associated to a Rutherford Morrison incision in a patient.

9 Polish psychologists towards eugenic projects
روانشناسان لهستانی به سمت پروژه های اصلاح نژادی-2016
The revival of disputes on establishing eugenics as an independent scholarly discipline triggered current discussions on euthanasia, cloning and in vitro fertilisation. At the edge of the 19th and 20th centuries, people marked with eugenic risk were considered unpro- ductive in terms of the state undisturbed functioning. Usually, such assumption was enough to have the stigmatised person forcibly sterilised. After WW I, Polish elites encountered the modern idea that the newly born Polish state had a chance of fast development thanks to eugenics. Soon, the negative one that applied much cheaper methods replaced positive eugenics. It was enough to legitimate sterilisation, giving consent to contracting marriages and having abortions in order to successively eliminate the factors contributing to ‘the deterioration of hereditary traits’. In 1930–1935, large efforts were made to pass a Polish eugenic law, which eased off a little following Hitlers signing the Nuremberg Laws. Negative consequences of eugenic laws were more and more explicit, and discussions with regard to passing a similar legislation in Poland were carried on until WW II.How is it possible that, despite considerable pressure supported with examples of smooth passing the eugenic laws by other states’ parliaments, the Polish eugenic law was never passed? It is hard to justify any form of accepting negative eugenics taking place after 1936. Regardless of the motives underlying the tacit attitude of the Polish psychologists towards eugenic projects, from the time perspective their silence should be assessed negatively.© 2016 Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology.
