1 Action recognition of dance video learning based on embedded system and computer vision image
Extraction and unfettered online / offline video sequence to identify complex human activity is computer vision a challenging task. To presents the classification of Indian classical dance moves using the powerful features of embedded system tools: Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). In this work, the Indian classical dance video for human action recognition is, YouTube data from offline and online control audio and video recordings of live performances carried out. Handprint create offline data with ten different themes familiar dance of 200 m / from various Indian classical dance forms in the context of a variety of poses. Online data collection dance ten different subjects from YouTube. Each dance posture is occupied 60 or video in both cases. FPGA training and 8 different sample dimensions, each performed by a plurality of sets of subject. The remaining two samples for testing the trained FPGA. Different FPGA architecture design, and with our test data in order to obtain better recognition accuracy. Compared the report on the same data set and other classification model to achieve a 90% recognition rate.

2 Stance and alignment in police traffic stops: The case of citizen account solicitations
This article demonstrates how the design and positioning of citizens account solicitations in traffic stops (e.g., “What did I do?”) provide resources for citizens to show, and officers to see, their stance toward and willingness to align with the business of the encounter. With design, citizens use ‘self’, ‘other’, ‘neutral’, and ‘self-other’ formulations that allocate responsibility for the stop in ways that support or challenge the stops legitimacy. With positioning, they show their willingness to align or not to the business of the encounter. Stance and alignment work interdependently with the account solicitation as a dispreferred initiating action (Robinson and Bolden, 2010) to enhance, or aggravate, its mitigated or unmitigated character, with consequences for citizens experience of being policed. This research uses the method of conversation analysis and draws from a large collection of police dashboard camera videos from several American policing agencies in addition to several videos posted on Youtube.

3 Bias reduction in the population size estimation of large data sets
Estimation of the population size of large data sets and hard to reach populations can be a significant problem. For example, in the military, manpower is limited and the manual processing of large data sets can be time consuming. In addition, accessing the full population of data may be restricted by factors such as cost, time, and safety. Four new population size estimators are proposed, as extensions of existing methods, and their performances are compared in terms of bias with two existing methods in the big data literature. These would be particularly beneficial in the context of time-critical decisions or actions. The comparison is based on a simulation study and the application to five real network data sets (Twitter, LiveJournal, Pokec, Youtube, Wikipedia Talk). Whilst no single estimator (out of the four proposed) generates the most accurate estimates overall, the proposed estimators are shown to produce more accurate population size estimates for small sample sizes, but in some cases show more variability than existing estimators in the literature.

4 The best indycaster project: Analysing and understanding meaningful YouTube content, dialogue and commitment as part of responsible management education
In higher education, and in particular within media management courses, educators currently aim to develop new course activities that stimulate students to critically reflect on social media communication. Specifically, students need robust knowledge and skills to critically analyse social media - content (e.g. text, images, sound, video), - dialogue (e.g. comments and replies) and - commitment (e.g. indicators of emotional involvement among participants) to understand the convergence between public and private communication via social networks. With that in mind, we developed a project for 3rd year BA students, that included research activities and operational activities, in which students individually select and analyse the content of special interest (e.g. games, beauty, food, history themed) YouTube channels. Through this ongoing project we (students and lecturers) learn more about independent broadcasters (Indycasters) and specifically about meaningful communication within online communities. In this paper we share our experiences and insights about this project. More importantly, we evaluate how the PRME principles are related to our current teaching approach and discuss sustainable literacy and media literacy as linking factor to these principles. Finally, we provide advice on how other universities may develop similar student led social media analysis projects to enrichen responsible management education.

5 A unified ecological framework for studying effects of digital places on well-being
Social media has greatly expanded opportunities to study place and well-being through the availability of human expressions tagged with physical location. Such research often uses social media content to study how specific places in the offline world influence well-being without acknowledging that digital platforms (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Yelp) are designed in unique ways that structure certain types of interactions in online and offline worlds, which can influence place-making and well-being. To expand our understanding of the mechanisms that influence social media expressions about well-being, we describe an ecological framework of person-place interactions that asks, “at what broad levels of interaction with digital platforms and physical environments do effects on well-being manifest?” The person is at the centre of the ecological framework to recognize how people define and organize both digital and physical communities and interactions. The relevance of interactions in physical environments depends on the built and natural characteristics encountered across modes of activity (e.g., domestic, work, study). Here, social interactions are stratified into the meso-social (e.g., local social norms) and micro-social (e.g., personal conversations) levels. The relevance of interactions in digital platforms is contingent on specific hardware and software elements. Social interactions at the meso-social level include platform norms and passive use of social media, such as observing the expressions of others, whereas interactions at the micro-level include more active uses, like direct messaging. Digital platforms are accessed in a physical location, and physical locations are partly experienced through online interactions; therefore, interactions between these environments are also acknowledged. We conclude by discussing the strengths and limitations of applying the framework to studies of place and well-being.

6 A multi-agent dynamic system for robust multi-face tracking
The paper presents a new architecture framework in the field of expert and intelligent systems which is based on four paradigms: a novel multi-agent dynamic system architecture (MADS), an extended Belief Desire Intention (EBDI) agent community, autonomy-oriented entities (AOEs), and deep learning concepts. The main impact of the proposed framework is a new approach, or even a new way of thinking, which enables integration of the concepts of deep learning, a conventional approach to solving the domain prob- lem, cognitive agents with mental attitudes, and concepts of nature-inspired computing. All these allow the effective use of the framework in the field of intelligent and expert systems. The significance of the framework lies in its flexibility and adaptability based on the formal logical description of EBDI agents, the definition of the behaviour of AOEs, the use of classical modules for domain problem solving, and modules based on deep-learning concepts. We believe that the example of the adaptation of the pro- posed architecture framework to robust multi-face tracking illustrates the significance of the proposed framework. In this paper, MADS is adapted to the first two stages of a face de-identification pipeline: robust face detection and multi-face tracking. The proposed architecture of MADS has a two-level hierar- chical organization. At the first level there is a manager designed as an Extended Belief Desire Intention (mEBDI) agent. The extension of a manager BDI agent consists of a convolutional neural network-based face detector, a set of autonomous-oriented entities for the elimination of false positive face detections, and a trajectory memory. At the second level, there are many tracking agents (trEBDIs) which consist of a basic BDI agent extended with a face tracker based on position and scale correlation filters, a visual ap- pearance memory, and a trajectory memory. The mEBDI and trEBDI agents are defined by the modal logic and are described at the implementation level. The proposed architecture for a robust multi-face tracking system was tested on a subset of YouTube music videos. The qualitative results, as well as the prelimi- nary quantitative results expressed by the standard testing metrics, demonstrate the effective adaptation of the proposed multi-agent dynamic architecture to a robust multi-face tracking system.

7 Circulation Gatekeepers: Unbundling the Platform Politics of YouTubes Content ID
This article explores how circulation flows are shaped by the politics of digital platforms. The author introduces the concept circulation gatekeepers to consider the infrastructures (people, institutions, technologies, discourses, etc.) that control and direct the flow of how, or if, matter moves in particular rhetorical ecologies. Focusing on YouTubes Content ID as a case in point, the article explores how YouTube exercises circulation gatekeeping power by blocking some circulation flows and boosting others. It traces how Content ID aligns itself—materially through its computational procedures, economically through its monetization practices, and rhetorically through its published legal positions and community guidelines—with a view of copyright that privileges the interests of corporate rightsholders and neglects those of everyday users. The author shows how these interests are embedded in copyright discourses and regimes of property control, suggesting systems such as Content ID have broader implications for digital writing in an age where platform infrastructures determine authorship and ownership status. In addition to discussing why rhetoric and writing scholars should care about circulation practices on YouTube (and other corporate platforms), the article closes by calling for more work that considers the role other circulation gatekeepers play in networked economies.

9 Motivation is a game: Massively multiplayer online games as agents of motivation in higher education
Stakeholders in the education arena are seeking effective and affordable ways to integrate technology in curriculum. One technology integration approach that has received attention is using commercial digital games as technological tools in the curriculum. Massively Multiplayer Online Games or MMOGs are a sub-genre of commercial, made for entertainment games. While there is considerable evidence that such games provide robust, stimulating and motivating environments for users, there are gaps in examinations of how learners perceive their experiences when immersed in MMOG based curricular environments. As learners are the focal points of designing instruction, understanding their conceptions is crucial for effective instructional design. Using a Phenomenography approach, this study highlighted the experiences of 95 students in English and Business courses that used an MMOG based curriculum. A key finding is that participants approve of game related contents such as information on game sites, game wikis and YouTube tutorials, with or without experiencing gameplay. This suggests a possible paradigm shift in the way MMOGs may be infused in the curriculum, as teachers and instructional designers may find it easier to implement and adopt MMOGs in their classrooms if complexities such as mandatory gameplay are not necessary. Researcher and practitioner implications are also discussed.

10 Children’s digital playgrounds as data assemblages: Problematics of privacy, personalization, and promotional culture
Children’s digital playgrounds have evolved from commercialized digital spaces such as websites and games to include an array of convergent digital media consisting of social media platforms, mobile apps, and the internet of toys. In these digital spaces, children’s data is shared with companies for analytics, personalization, and advertising. This article describes children’s digital playgrounds as a data assemblage involving commercial surveillance of children, ages 3–12. The privacy sweep is used as a method to follow the personal information traces that can be expected to be disclosed through typical use of two children’s digital playgrounds: the YouTube Kids app and Fisher-Price Smart Toy plush animal and companion app. To trace the data flows, privacy policies and other publicly available documents were analyzed using political economy and privacy informed indicators. This article concludes by reflecting upon the dataveillance and commercialization practices that trouble the privacy rights of the child and parent when data assemblages in children’s digital playgrounds are surveillant.
