1 Recycling channel selection and coordination in dual sales channel closed-loop supply chains
انتخاب و هماهنگی کانال بازیافت در زنجیره های تأمین حلقه بسته کانال فروش دوتایی-2021
The implications of dual sales channels (direct and traditional retail channels) and closedloop supply chains (CLSCs) have been well recognized in the literature and in practice. In this study, we explore the reverse channel choice for the manufacturer and the design of coordination mechanisms in CLSCs in the midst of dual competitive sales channels. We consider three recycling channel structures: manufacturer collecting (Model M), retailer collecting (Model R) and third-party collecting (Model C) structures. We present the following findings. The manufacturer and the retailer obtain more profits in Model M and Model R, respectively. However, from the perspective of the supply chain system, either the M model or the R model could be optimal depending on the following parameters: channel competition intensity between the direct and retail channels, collection costs and remanufacturing cost savings. Furthermore, we show that a simple price contract that consists of the wholesale price, direct channel price and transfer price of the used product (in Model R and Model C), with a complementary profit sharing mechanism can effectively coordinate dual-channel CLSCs under different recycling channel structures.

2 The effects of in-transit inventory financing on the capital-constrained supply chain
اثرات تأمین مالی موجودی در ترانزیت بر زنجیره تأمین محدود شده برای سرمایه-2021
In-transit inventory financing is gaining popularity as an alternative way to access financing. However, compared with other financing means such as trade credit and bank loans, the effects on the supply chain of a third-party logistics provider (TPL) providing in-transit inventory financing are seldom investigated. This study adopts a channel competition model to examine the impact of such financing on the supply chain. Through comparative analysis with conventional financing approaches, we find that the availability of in- transit inventory financing allows retailers to take advantage of a lower financing fee for trade credit, even when the demand for trade credit decreases. In addition, the TPL-provided financing service can lead to a reduction in financing fee for both trade credit and in-transit inventory financing when both the supplier and retailers have financing demand or the TPL is subject to a high degree of risk aversion. Finally, when the TPL has the first-mover advantage in setting its financing fee, the supplier with a financing demand pays a lower financing fee to the TPL due to the decreased demand for in-transit inventory financing. In this case, we find that the low logistics cost, the low unit product price without trade credit and a high financing ratio can make in-transit inventory financing more attractive than trade credit. Our results have important implications for the implementation of in-transit inventory financing in supply chains.

3 Pricing and coordination in a reverse supply chain with online and offline recycling channels: A power perspective
قیمت گذاری و هماهنگی در یک زنجیره تأمین معکوس با کانال های بازیافت آنلاین و آفلاین: دیدگاه نیرو-2021
Faced with a large number and a wide variety of used products, it is of great significance to study how to design an effective reverse channel for recycling waste products, to obtain better economic and environmental benefits. In this paper, we explore how various channel power structures affect the pricing decisions and coordination in a reverse supply chain (RSC) with competitive online and offline recycling channels. One centralized and three decentralized RSC models are established under three power structures: remanufacturer-led, collector-led, and vertical Nash. Through equilibrium comparison, we find that either the remanufacturer or the collector has sufficient incentives to lead the RSC, however, the balanced power structure (Vertical Nash) is more favorable to the RSC system. In addition, we design a mechanism, which consists of an online acquisition price scheme and a two-part tariff contract, to co- ordinate dual-recycling channel RSCs under various power structures. Finally, we extend the model to asymmetric initial collection quantity and asymmetric recycling channel cost cases and verify the robustness of our basic propositions. Our analysis generates managerial insights into the relationship between the channel power structure and recycling channel competition and provides guidance for strategic decisions by remanufacturers and recyclers in dual-recycling channel RSC.© 2021 Elsevier Ltd.
