1 Stages of Knowledge Representation on the Example of the Typology of Interdisciplinarity: Philosophical Aspects

It is suggested, when creating knowledge management mechanisms to avoid any extremes in their presentation: various "centrisms", hypertrophy in the use of both mathematical and verbal-meaningful knowledge. It is shown that it is important to observe the principle of "ethics of engagement ", which can be implemented on the basis of a productive interdisciplinary synthesis. The stages of knowledge presentation are considered on the basis of the typology of interdisciplinarity. It is argued that the stage of semantisation (conceptualization) of knowledge representation, when creating control systems, should be preceded by the stage of ontologization. It enhances the distinctiveness of knowledge representation. The stage of ontologization is necessary for the construction of more detailed explanatory constructions, due to the greater formalization of the ontological representation, in comparison with the stage of semantisation. It is assumed that the taxonomy stage can become the basis for the ontologization of knowledge representation, for example, in knowledge engineering.

3 Experiencing the potential of closed-loop PLM systems enabled by Industrial Internet of Things

The article reflects the results of the research on the improvement of the production activities of a machine-building enterprise by automating the production planning process. It analyzes the enterprise’s state of affairs in the planning process, reveals the main problems of the enterprise; gives an analysis and comparison of the existing automated systems, selects an ERP-system for the enterprise’s conditions; develops an automated production planning process and a methodology for automating the production planning process in the SAPERP system for the enterprise’s conditions. The authors experimentally verify the efficiency of the developed methodology. The research results include: establishment of effective control and planning of business processes; reducing the labor intensity of process management; increasing their stability; increasing the maneuverability of the enterprise’s actions and quick response to the changing market conditions; reducing the costs for external and internal failures.© 2020 The Authors. 4 Bringing an entrepreneurial focus to sustainability education: A teaching framework based on content analysis

Research on sustainability education has neglected to integrate entrepreneurial skills into other relevant competences such as foresight, complex problem-solving, and interdisciplinarity. Previous research highlights possible convergences between sustainability education and entrepreneurship education; however, it does not address how to achieve this integration in practice. To address the gap between the literature and practice, this paper tackles the question: How can entrepreneurial competences be taught in sustainability education programs in higher education? We introduce a teaching framework based on a bibliometric method that combines topic-modeling with a content-analysis of selected articles. The focus of the analysis is the commonalities of both educational fields. Our results introduce a program for entrepreneurial-oriented sustainability education, providing a description of the educational focus, teaching-learning approaches, main themes, and external collaboration. The framework proposes educational for sustainable development across educational programs while implicitly addressing complex community problems through the development of solutions that can change the ways business and consumers relate with sustainability issues. These results contribute to the sustainability education literature by integrating the development of entrepreneurship competences into interdisciplinary pro- grams. The framework could also be used as a practical guide for designing courses, at both the undergraduate and graduate level, that integrate both sustainability and entrepreneurship.© 2019 Elsevier Ltd. 5 ‘‘You Social Scientists Love Mind Games’’: Experimenting in the ‘‘divide’’ between data science and critical algorithm studies

In recent years, many qualitative sociologists, anthropologists, and social theorists have critiqued the use of algorithms and other automated processes involved in data science on both epistemological and political grounds. Yet, it has proven difficult to bring these important insights into the practice of data science itself. We suggest that part of this problem has to do with under-examined or unacknowledged assumptions about the relationship between the two fields—ideas about how data science and its critics can and should relate. Inspired by recent work in Science and Technology Studies on interventions, we attempted to stage an encounter in which practicing data scientists were asked to analyze a corpus of critical social science literature about their work, using tools of textual analysis such as co-word and topic modelling. The idea was to provoke discussion both about the content of these texts and the possible limits of such analyses. In this commentary, we reflect on the planning stages of the experiment and how responses to the exercise, from both data scientists and qualitative social scientists, revealed some of the tensions and interactions between the normative positions of the different fields. We argue for further studies which can help us understand what these interdisciplinary tensions turn on—which do not paper over them but also do not take them as given.

6 A Knowledge Management Approach for Ergonomics Implementation within Organizations

The current economic and social environment suffered major changes in the last years, mainly driven by technological and cultural innovations and trends. One of the most interesting changes is the development of knowledge management (KM) and its increasing diffusions in all economic sectors. There is no activity that can be performed without some type of knowledge transfer, irrespective of whether it is tacit or explicit. At the same time, every organization must implement health and safety objectives in order to achieve business effectiveness and efficiency. Through ergonomics working conditions and occupational health and safety (OHS) objectives can be achieved more efficient. Considering that ergonomics is an interdisciplinary science, KM appears as extremely necessary for superior knowledge transfer among expert groups in the organization. The paper aims to demonstrate the usefulness of KM science in the ergonomics approach by highlighting key focus areas to support efficient implementation within organizations. By analyzing the consulting services offer by six Unites States consulting companies in the filed of ergonomics, we shall underlined the trends and challenges of the KM implications in ergonomics approaches.

7 Evaluating collaboration productivity in interdisciplinary product development
ارزیابی بهره وری همکاری در توسعه محصول بین رشته ای-2018
Interdisciplinary collaboration is gaining increasing importance in product development. Today, products integrate various disciplines, which makes it more and more challenging to arrange collaboration efficiently and effectively. Emerging information and communication technologies have the potential to fundamentally change operations and increase the collaboration productivity. However, there is a shortage of approaches to assess their potentials in order to ensure sustainable implementation. This paper introduces a method for evaluation of collaboration productivity in interdisciplinary product development. First, the concept of collaboration productivity is explained and differentiated from concepts in other areas. Second, a target system for evaluation of productivity potentials related to emerging technologies is developed. The target system is supplemented by indicators allowing a measurement of productivity increases in different use cases. Third, a procedure model for the application of the developed method is presented. The method is applied to a case study from manufacturing industry.
