71 Hybrid simulation models for spare parts supply chain considering 3D printing capabilities
مدل های شبیه سازی ترکیبی برای زنجیره تامین قطعات یدکی با توجه به قابلیت های چاپ سه بعدی-2021
In the era of Industry 4.0, 3D printing unlocks a wide array of solutions to rapidly-produce spare parts for maintenance operations. In this research, we propose a hybrid simulation approach, combining agent-based and discrete event simulation methods, to investigate how the adoption of 3D printing technologies to manufacture spare parts for maintenance operations will improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Specifically, our framework is applied to the United States Navy’s fighter jet maintenance operations to study various network configurations, where 3D printing facilities may be centralized, decentralized, or hub configured. System performance in terms of the total cost, timeliness of delivery, and vulnerability under disruptions such as cyber- attacks and emergencies are evaluated. Lastly, the impact of 3D printing technological advancements on operational performance is investigated to obtain managerial insights.

72 The influence of online review adoption on the profitability of capacitated supply chains
تأثیر پذیرش بازبینی آنلاین بر سودآوری زنجیره های تأمین خازنی-2021
The paper explores the influence of online review adoption on supply chain profitability under the presence of a capacity constraint. Nowadays, customers increasingly rely on online reviews for decision making, and online retailers regard reviews as a norm. Although online reviews have been extensively examined in marketing disciplines, little research has been conducted to investigate their influence from a supply chain perspective. In addition, previous research has largely focused on how online review information can influence customer purchase behaviours, but ignores the more basic decision: whether and when companies should adopt reviews. This paper examines the online review adoption decision from a capacitated supply chain perspective through mathematical modelling and simulation. The simulation considers the influence of variables including online review adoption decisions, capacity constraint level, lost sales penalty level and product quality estimation on supply chain profitability. Generally, we find that online reviews can bring more profit to the supply chain than without online reviews, although such influence is moderated by the other three variables. The findings reveal the complexity of the contextual variable impacts on online review adoption, and demonstrate that decisions concerning the adoption of online reviews should take all supply-chain-related variables into consideration rather than only aiming for increasing customer orders.

74 A mobile stereo vision system with variable baseline distance for three-dimensional coordinate measurement in large FOV
یک سیستم دید استریو متحرک با فاصله پایه متغیر برای اندازه گیری مختصات سه بعدی در FOV بزرگ-2021
A novel mobile stereo vision system (MSVS) with variable baseline distance for three-dimensional (3D) coordinate measurement in large field of view (FOV) is established herein. Each independent mobile camera can rotate in the horizontal and vertical directions, and the position of the cameras are obtained by differential GPS in real time. In order to achieve rapid camera calibration in large FOV, a simplified model of MSVS based on differential GPS is constructed in this paper. A six-point method is proposed to quickly estimate the camera’s initial parameters (i.e. focal length, initial roll, pitch, and yaw angles) in the situation that the approximate value of the initial yaw angle is unknown. Moreover, the camera’s roll angle is equivalent to its approximate value measured by a high-precision inclinometer during the movement, and the unknown extrinsic parameters of each camera are reduced to the pitch and yaw angles after the camera moves. The refined pitch and yaw angles are eventually estimated by only using a single control point, which makes it possible that the 3D coordinate can be measured online after the camera moves. The computer simulation verifies the effectiveness of the extrinsic parameters calibration method using a single control point. The quantitative results demonstrate that the standard deviation of the focal length of the camera does not exceed 0.028 mm, and the mobile camera’s pitch angle and yaw angle estimated by a single control point is extremely close to the reference values. In addition, the average error of the 3D coordinate on each axis after the camera moves is smaller than 0.08 m in the measuring distance of 100 m, and that on X-axis and Z-axis is comparable and does not exceed 0.35 m. The proposed methods are suitable for the occasions that high accuracy is not required in the field of 3D coordinate measurement in large FOV.

A novel multiple-single-channel color image cryptosystem based on unequal spectrum decomposition (USD) and 2D sine improved 1ogistic iterative chaotic map with infinite collapse modulation map (2D-SLIM) is proposed. In this method, R, G, and B channels of each color image of an authorized user is fused with corresponding LL sub-band of a gray-scale carrier image by inverse discrete wavelet transform (DWT) to obtain single-channel and watermarked image. The individual biometric key of an authorized user is produced by his/her phase- encoded irisprint and then modulated by chaotic random phase mask (CRPM). So the parameters of CRPM are used as decryption keys with the uniqueness of the irisprint. The watermarked image as input image is normalized, multiplied with biometric key, and then Fresnel transformed. The Fresnel spectrum is divided into two complex-value masks by using unequal spectrum decomposition in which one phase mask is exploited as decryption key and other as ciphertext. The final ciphertext is obtained by adding individual ciphertexts. The encryption and decryption process can be realized with a hybrid optoelectronic system. Numerical simulations have been performed to verify the validity and feasibility of the proposed system.

76 Nonlinear analysis and active management of production-distribution in nonlinear supply chain model using sliding mode control theory
تحلیل غیرخطی و مدیریت فعال تولید-توزیع در مدل غیر خطی زنجیره تامین با استفاده از تئوری کنترل حالت کشویی-2021
This paper deals with system dynamics approach for dynamical behaviors and control synthesis of supply chain system by utilizing three-stage production-distribution model. The presented approach offers systematic tools for determining fundamental relationships between multi-echelons in the supply chain dynamics by using eigenvalues, bifurcation, and time history investigation. By exploring system dynamics on time series analysis, it is found that system performance has suffered severely from the bullwhip effect under impacts of model uncertainties and perturbed demand. The novel fractional-order sliding mode control algorithm has been presented based on adaptation mechanism, ensuring that the shipment flows are robustly stable in supply chain networks against disruptions. This is a smarter way of getting sufficient strength to sustain existing competitive market for mitigating the risks and improving the supply chain performance. The system stability has been thoroughly analyzed by using Routh-Hurwitz criterion and Lyapunov theory. Extensive numerical simulations have been conducted to obtain insights into the system behaviors and to validate effectiveness of active control policies by matching the shipment sent to customer demand, ensuring supply chains resilience. Finally, it is found that the presented approach can help decision-makers develop more efficient supply chain management system against severe market disruptions.

77 The role of experiential knowledge in hospital nurses’ management of pain-related agitation in people with dementia: an expert performance simulation study
نقش دانش تجربی در مدیریت بیقراری مرتبط با درد در بیماران مبتلا به زوال عقل توسط پرستاران بیمارستان: یک مطالعه شبیه‌سازی عملکرد خبره-2021
Background
Pain-related agitation in hospital patients with dementia presents a diagnostic challenge as patients often cannot explain their agitation. Generally, a deductive process is required of staff, culminating in an analgesic trial. However, evidence suggests the deductions of hospital nurses may be flawed because they may not associate agitation in dementia with painful conditions, thereby missing key clinical cues. While analytical rule-based deduction applies explicit formal knowledge, cognitive scientists argue that tacit experiential knowledge, i.e., the unconscious classification of available cues, is equally important and is always involved.
Aim
To identify the cognitive characteristics unique to nurses who accurately recognize pain-related agitation in a patient with dementia compared with nurses who do not.
Methods
In this descriptive multivariate study, registered acute-care nurses undertook an original computerized virtual simulation requiring them to identify and manage pain-related agitation in a standardized patient with dementia. Process tracing methods captured nurses’ simulation performances alongside their retrospective accounts of thinking. These were correlated with demographic characteristics related to seniority, workplace, training, experience and knowledge captured on a questionnaire. Dual processing theory enabled interpretation of intuitive and analytical cognitive processes.
Findings
Registered medical and surgical nurses (N=274) participated from 10 hospitals. Although formal knowledge about pain in dementia was high (88%), only 13(4.7%) nurses identified pain-related agitation from an injury. These individuals took the longest and used the most cues, undertaking a detailed deductive search. Their recognition of pain-related cues demonstrated accurate experiential knowledge while another 16 nurses identified a fracture without linking the injury to agitation. Over three quarters (78%) of nurses decided on initial antipsychotic treatment. They were quick to decide, using the fewest cues, suggesting agitation was recognized as typical and familiar, with the solution well-known (albeit ineffective). Independent of other variables, nurses working in dementia-specific units, surgical units or with more seniority had increased odds of recognizing pain, revealing the influence of workplace experience. However, most surgical and dementia-unit nurses did not recognize pain.
Conclusions
Hospital nurses have difficulty recognizing when agitation in a patient with dementia is caused by pain. High formal knowledge about pain in dementia may not be sufficient to enable clinical recognition of pain in patients. Instead, nurses with experience in specific workplaces or senior roles may be better equipped to recognize pain-related agitation and deploy evidence-based approaches for agitation in a patient with dementia. Overall, these results lend support to the influence of experiential knowledge on performance.
Tweetable abstract
In a virtual simulation, registered nurses with high formal knowledge about pain in dementia lacked the experience required to recognize pain-related agitation in a patient with dementia

78 FPGA implementation of fast & secure fingerprint authentication using trsg (true random and timestamp generator)
اجرای FPGA سریع و ؛ احراز هویت اثر انگشت ایمن با استفاده از آزمون (مولد علامت تصادفی و زمان واقعی)-2021
In the digital authentication system, the emerging technology is fingerprint authentication, which have been concentrated more attraction towards security and control. Existing authentication systems such as Biometric cryptosystems, Cancellable templates, and Bio-hashing provide a solution for addressing these vulnerabilities. To implement the fingerprint authentication with more accuracy, a novel FPGA based authentication system has proposed in this paper and the performance has evaluated with the help of the previous scheme. First, finger code template (FCT) is generated by applying transformation function on finger code and biometric key created from the randomization process. While in the second phase, 40-bit binary string (ofc), 40-bit binary time stamp, random numbers 0 and 40 (r1, r2, r3, and r4) are generated from TRSG (True Random and Time Stamp Generator) which is converted into 80-bit efc. Based on the obtained efc, the person details are compared with primary data stored in the database. The simulation result shows that the proposed method reduces the LUT utilization to 0.17% and complexity as 14%. Hence, FPGA based fingerprint authentication shows its excellence with the lowest complexity value and thereby enhance the presentation of the biometric authentication system.

79 An automated deep learning based anomaly detection in pedestrian walkways for vulnerable road users safety
یک تشخیص ناهنجاری مبتنی بر یادگیری عمیق در معابر پیاده برای ایمنی کاربران جاده ای آسیب پذیر-2021
Anomaly detection in pedestrian walkways is an important research topic, commonly used to improve the safety of pedestrians. Due to the wide utilization of video surveillance systems and the increased quantity of captured videos, the traditional manual examination of labeling abnormal events is a tiresome task. So, an automated surveillance system that detects anomalies becomes essential among computer vision researchers. Presently, the development of deep learning (DL) models has gained significant interest in different computer vision processes namely object classification and object detection, and these applications were depending on supervised learning that required labels. Therefore, this paper develops an automated deep learning based anomaly detectiontechnique in pedestrian walkways (DLADT-PW) for vulnerable road user’s safety. The goal of the DLADT-PWmodel is to detect and classify the various anomalies that exist in the pedestrian walkways such as cars, skating, jeep, etc. The DLADT-PW model involves preprocessing as the primary step, which is applied for removing the noise and raise the quality of the image. In addition, mask region convolutional neural network (Mask-RCNN) with densely connected networks (DenseNet) model is employed for the detection process. To ensure the better anomaly detection performance of the DLADT-PW technique, an extensive set of simulations were performed and the outcomes are investigated under distinct aspects. The obtained experimental values confirmed the superior characteristics of the DLADT-PW technique by achieving a maximum detection accuracy.

80 Developing a mold-free approach for complex glulam production with the assist of computer vision technologies
توسعه یک رویکرد بدون قالب برای تولید پیچیده گلولام با کمک فناوری های بینایی ماشین-2021
With the increasing use of glulam in construction industry, low efficiency of material and time in complex glulam production process has been widely recognized. While single curved glulam components are normally achieved with the aid of heavy molds, double curved ones are difficult to be produced directly without massive subtractive fabrication. In this context, a mold-free approach for complex glulam production is proposed, which consists of a mechanical system that spatially shapes the curved beam, and a vision system to inform the fabrication directly with design model. Through the integration of digital design, simulation and physical process, different types of curved glulam could be produced following the same workflow. This approach could eliminate the use of complex molds in curved glulam production, greatly reduce wastes in post-processing process. With the feasibility initially verified through fabrication experiments, the system will be further developed so as to be transferred to industrial practice.
