Examining the internet of educational things adoption using an extended unified theory of acceptance and use of technology

by focusing on students’ perspectives. To validate the internet of educational things (IoET) ap-
plications’ acceptance and usage, the main constructs of UTAUT2 theory were integrated with
innovativeness and social support constructs. This study adopts a quantitated study method and
examined empirically through smart PLS-SEM software, an online questionnaire is established
and disseminated to Taibah university students. Results revealed that social support, facilitated
conditions, innovativeness, and effort expectancy of UTAUT2 constructs had the strongest effect
on IoET applications’ acceptance and usage respectively. Whereas performance expectancy, and
perceived usefulness had the weakest effect on IoET adoption respectively. On the other hand, the
relationship between perceived ease of use and IoET behavioral intention were not supported
because of insignificant relationships. The results demonstrated in this study potentially assist the
universities to understand the main determinists of using IoET applications acceptance and usage

Becoming a scholarly management practitioner – Entanglements between the worlds of practice and scholarship

develop through an experiential pedagogy that is based on a theoretical model of scholarly
management practice. It will draw from our experience of designing and running a large online
DBA with participants from across the world. We present a model of Scholarly Management
Practice and explain how its use differentiates this approach to doctoral education from others in
that there is a clear focus on how holders of the DBA enact their management practice, charac-
terized by an orientation to problematization, inquiry, dialogue and critical reflection. We
describe the design and underlying theoretical and philosophical rationale for how the program
elements articulate together to stimulate the development of scholarly management practitioners.
The implications for teaching and learning are presented in the form of a description and ratio-
nale for the design of the program in its three stages. We illustrate the trajectory of potential
development as a doctoral practitioner through the vignette of one student’s journey. We also
reflect on the limitations and lessons learned of our own theorising and practice in the devel-

The application of reusable learning objects (RLOs) in preparation for a simulation laboratory in medication management: An evaluative study
استفاده از اشیاء یادگیری قابل استفاده مجدد (RLOS) در آماده سازی یک آزمایشگاه شبیه سازی در مدیریت دارو: یک مطالعه ارزیابی-2021 To enhance the preparedness of undergraduate nursing and midwifery students to participate in the safe
provision of medication administration on their clinical placements, an innovative blended learning strategy
was designed and developed by the authors. The blended learning strategy included a suite of online reusable
learning objects specific to medication management theoretical knowledge and psychomotor skills to prepare students for a 90-minute practical face to face simulation laboratory session. Students identified that
the reusable learning objects had prepared them for the simulation laboratory session and was rated as a
productive learning experience. The blended learning strategy implemented to teaching and learning medication management to undergraduate nursing and midwifery students can positively influence students’
acquisition of knowledge and psychomotor skills to safely administer medications prior to their practice
placements in a clinical setting.

Knowledge-Based Management of Virtual Training Scenarios
مدیریت دانش محور سناریوهای آموزش مجازی-2021 Virtual reality (VR) gains increasing attention as a method of implementing training systems in different domains, in particular,
when real training is potentially dangerous for the trainees or the environment, or requires expensive equipment. The essential
element of professional training is domain-specific knowledge, which can be represented using the semantic web approach. It
enables reasoning as well as complex queries against the representation of training scenarios, which can be valuable for teaching
purposes. However, the available methods and tools for creating VR training systems do not use semantic knowledge representation.
Currently, the creation, modification, and management of training scenarios require skills in programming and computer graphics.
Hence, they are unavailable to domain experts without expertise in IT. In this paper, we propose an ontology-based representation
and a method of modeling VR training scenarios. In our approach, trainees’ activities, potential mistakes as well as equipment
and its possible errors are represented using domain knowledge understandable to domain experts. We illustrate the approach by
modeling VR training scenarios for electrical operators of high-voltage installations.

Process-oriented Knowledge Representation of the Requirement Management Phase of TOGAF-ADM: an Empirical Evaluation
بازنمایی دانش فرآیند محور فاز مدیریت نیازمندی TOGAF-ADM: یک ارزیابی تجربی-2021 The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) is one of the most used by large-scale companies Enterprise Architecture
(EA) frameworks. It contains the Architecture Development Method (ADM) to represent knowledge used to analyze and build
the EA for an organization. It is a very detailed method and covers all phases of EA construction and maintenance. However, the
described guidelines are hard to follow as they are rich and numerous. Our goal is to provide a process-based knowledge
representation of the ADM method to better guide EA professionals using TOGAF and to facilitate the TOGAF teaching with
students. In our previous work, we have already proposed the process-oriented graphical representation of the requirements
management (RM) phase of TOGAF-ADM. In this work, we carried out a questionnaire to evaluate the process representation of
the TOGAF-ADM RM phase in comparison with its textual representation issue from the TOGAF documentation. The obtained
results confirmed that process models are helpful to better represent the knowledge included in TOGAF-ADM textual guidelines;
thus, practitioners have a more complete description of how to proceed while using TOGAF.

The role of knowledge management strategies in improving the quality of educational service – University of Anbar as a model
نقش راهبردهای مدیریت دانش در ارتقای کیفیت خدمات آموزشی – دانشگاه انبار به عنوان مدل-2021 The current research aims at demonstrating the extent of the role of knowledge management strategies
as an independent variable and the quality of educational service as a responsive variable. This research is
applied at University of Anbar. It tries to come up with a set of recommendations that contribute to
strengthening the practice and adoption of the variables in the organizations under study. For the purpose of the search, a sample of (320 members of the teaching staff) from University of Anbar is adopted.
The basic questionnaire was relied upon to collect data and information that were processed and analyzed using basic methods such as the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient and
coefficient, difference, importance, and multiple regression. The researchers reach several results that
show that University of Anbar is able to use the possibility of the coding dimension of classifying and
storing knowledge in databases to be easily entered and used by the individuals in enhancing the quality
of educational service at the university. As for the most important recommendations, the administration
of University of Anbar should take advantage of the strong relationship between knowledge management
strategies to bring about more positive changes in the quality of educational service in general through
the exchange of ideas and information between individuals.

A profession in peril? University corporatization, performance measurement and the sustainability of accounting academia

with reference to an in-depth case study of a research-intensive English business school
that strongly embraced managerialist and marketized approaches to higher education. It
discusses how accounting research became marginalized as the school directed research
funding towards business disciplines it deemed more likely to deliver top-ranked
publications, large research grants and substantial industry partnerships. The paper
moreover explores how accounting teaching, curriculum design and the administrative
hierarchies of the business school started to be colonized by teaching fellows with
backgrounds in private sector accountancy tuition. As a result of these two
developments, the school’s accounting department gradually transformed into a
teaching-only operation which delivered largely standardized and highly technical
accounting education. The paper links this transformation of the accounting department
to the growing emphasis on research and teaching performance measures in the English
higher education system and concludes that the academic accounting profession, as
defined by original research and research-informed teaching, is in danger of
disappearing at many English business schools.

The knowledge of Indonesian pediatric residents on hyperbilirubinemia management
دانش دستیاران کودکان اندونزی در مورد مدیریت هیپربیلی روبینمی-2021 Hyperbilirubinemia in the newborn occurs more frequently in Indonesia. Therefore, it is important that pediatric
residents in Indonesia acquire adequate knowledge of hyperbilirubinemia management. This study aims to
determine the pediatric residents knowledge on hyperbilirubinemia management, whether they follow recommended
guidelines, and whether differences exist between five large Indonesian teaching hospitals. We handed
out a 25-question questionnaire on hyperbilirubinemia management to pediatric residents at five teaching hospitals.
A total of 250 questionnaires were filled in completely, ranging from 14 to 113 respondents per hospital.
Approximately 76% of the respondents used the Kramer score to recognize neonatal jaundice. Twenty-four
percent correctly plotted the total serum bilirubin levels (TSB) on the phototherapy (PT) nomograms provided
by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE)
for full-term and nearly full-term infants. Regarding preterm infants <35 weeks gestational age, 66% of the respondents
plotted TSB levels on the AAP nomogram, although this nomogram doesnt apply to this category of
infants. Seventy percent of residents knew when to perform an exchange transfusion whereas 27% used a fixed
bilirubin cut-off value of 20 mg/dL. Besides PT, 25% reported using additional pharmaceutical treatments,
included albumin, phenobarbitone, ursodeoxycholic acid and immunoglobulins, while 47% of the respondents
used sunlight therapy, as alternative treatment. The limited knowledge of the pediatric residents could be one
factor for the higher incidence of severe hyperbilirubinemia and its sequelae. The limited knowledge of the
residents raises doubts about the knowledge of the supervisors and the training of the residents since pediatric
residents receive training from their supervisors.

Dynamic 3D image simulation of basketball movement based on embedded system and computer vision

Based on this problem, the basketball training reproduction framework is built utilizing augmented reality innovation. The framework sets up a virtual reenactment model ofa ballplayer planning a player’s track. Simultaneously, as a helping player, it captures the basketball player’sactual situation, compares them with the simulated trajectories, and provides more targeted training. Based on virtual reality-based Virtual Data Augmentation Technology (VDRT), basketball technology’s teaching mode allows players to acquire key points of sports skills and significantly improve basketball players’ training efficiency as soon as possible. With the quick improvement of current science and innovation, for example, center, science and innovation, and electronic data innovation, more educational activities are being applied. However, modern educational methods’ important content is to master and use modern educational equipment and processes. This article uses basic concepts, characteristics, and virtual reality techniques and literature and information methods to explain the types of role play in basketball lessons. Finally, it analyzes the application programs of basketball theory education, technical education, tactical instruction and educational competitions that provide scientific standards for future basketball education reform.
