31 A Machine Vision Based Automated Quality Control System for Product Dimensional Analysis
سیستم کنترل کیفیت خودکار مبتنی بر بینایی ماشین برای تجزیه و تحلیل ابعاد محصول-2021
Quality control (QC) in manufacturing processes is critical to ensuring consumers receive products with proper functionality and reliability. Faulty products can lead to additional costs for the manufacturer and damage trust in a brand. A growing trend in QC is the use of machine vision (MV) systems because of their noncontact inspection, high repeatability, and relatively low cost. This paper presents a robust MV system developed to perform comparative dimensional inspection on diversely shaped samples, including additive manufacturing products. The algorithm used performs dimensional inspection on a base product considered to have acceptable dimensions. The perimeter, area, rectangularity, and circularity of the base product are determined using blob analysis on a calibrated camera. These parameters are then used as the standard with which to judge additional products. Each product following is similarly inspected and compared to the base product parameters. A likeness score is calculated for each product, which provides a single value tracking all parameter differences. Finally, the likeness score is considered on whether it is within a threshold, and the product is considered to be acceptable or defective. The proposed MV system has achieved satisfactory results, as discussed in the results section, that would allow it to serve as a dependable and accurate QC inspection system in industrial settings.© 2021 The Authors. 32 Pharmacists knowledge regarding the management of overactive bladder in elderly women
دانش داروخانه ها در مورد مدیریت مثانه های بیش فعالی در زنان سالخورده-2021
Objective: Anticholinergic drugs are the mainstay treatment of OAB. Anticholinergic load is the cumulative effect of taking anticholinergic medication. Recent evidence suggests that in the elderly this can have a detrimental affect, with the potential to develop dementia. A previous study found that knowledge of anticholinergic load was lacking in our healthcare professionals. The aim of this study was to assess knowledge of pharmacists, who in the UK have the potential where qualified to prescribe as well as dispense. Study design: A questionnaire was formulated based on the previous study. It was sent out to 418 pharmacists from; a south London hospital trust, a south London clinical commissioning group and United Kingdom Clinical Pharmacists Association. Results: Seventy-five pharmacists completed the questionnaire. Solifenacin and tolterodine was the most popular drug prescribed in the elderly without dementia, whilst mirabegron was the most popular in the elderly with dementia. One pharmacist suggested using oxybutynin. Sixty-two percent discuss anticholinergic load with the patients, 40 % advice prescribers and 42 % consider anticholinergic load when dispensing the drug. Fifteen percent have had patients report confusion/memory loss. Thirty percent know how to assess anticholinergic load. Only 15 % felt dementia was a concern with anticholinergic drugs. Worryingly, 54 % though mirabegron exerted anticholinergic effects. Conclusion: This is the first study looking at pharmacist knowledge on the use of anticholinergic medication for OAB in elderly women. Knowledge amongst all healthcare professionals including pharmacists is lacking and needs to be improved.

34 Behavioral mechanisms influencing sustainable supply chain governance decision-making from a dyadic buyer-supplier perspective
مکانیسم های رفتاری تأثیرگذار بر تصمیم گیری حاکم بر زنجیره تأمین پایدار از دیدگاه خریدار-عرضه کننده دوگانه-2021
This paper explores the behavioral tendencies of buyer-supplier dyads during sustainable supply chain gover- nance (SSCG) decision-making under the complexity and uncertainty of the sustainable performance of their partners. In doing so, this work builds on Behavioral Decision Theory (BDT), together with the literature on dyadic buyer-supplier relationships, to develop a theoretical framework to examine factors affecting the SSCG decisions of supply chain managers and firm representatives under uncertainty of the sustainable performance of their partners. An experimental vignette methodology (EVM) is used to collect and analyze data from 374 matched buyer-supplier dyads. The findings suggest that behavioral uncertainty could lead to both contractual and relational SSCG. However, the interaction of interpersonal trust and relational experience is critical to shaping the SSCG decision. The findings of the study suggest that behavioral uncertainty does not play significant role in shaping SSCG decisions. However, the interplay with negative relational experience may lead to more contractual SSCG. Furthermore, the degree of interpersonal trust between the buyer and supplier representatives significantly encourages them to opt for more relational SSCG. The study supports that positive relational experience helps to strengthen the trust. Using our findings, supply chain managers and executives should strive to build interpersonal trust between their employees and positive relational experience with their supply chain partners to develop relational SSCG throughout the supply chains.

35 Trapped in the supply chain? Digital servitization strategies and power relations in the case of an industrial technology supplier
در زنجیره تأمین گرفتار شده اید؟ استراتژیهای سرویس دهی دیجیتال و روابط قدرت در مورد یک تامین کننده فناوری صنعتی-2021
Digital servitization transforms value creation processes and subsequently affects relationships and power structures in supply chains. Yet, previous studies present insightful but incomplete views on how digital servitization changes power balances between supply chain actors. Specifically, little attention has been paid to upstream firms, although they are particularly vulnerable to becoming disadvantaged participants in a digitally servitized supply chain, as they are positioned far away from end-users. Addressing this research need, we performed an explorative single case study of an industrial supplier – using the resource dependence theory as theoretical framework – to investigate (1) the effects of digital servitization on the power balance between the supplier and its OEM customers and (2) the strategic responses of the supplier to these effects. We find that for an industrial supplier, the successful deployment of digitalized product-service systems (DPSS) depends not only on the development of digital capabilities, but also on the ability to establish close end-user connections, continuous access to product usage data, and a trustful relationship with OEM customers. In addition, we show that digital servitization shifts power towards the actor who is more dominant prior to its advent, refining the common notion that digital servitization favors per se downstream firms. We enrich existing literature by outlining five specific strategies that industrial suppliers can pursue to maintain critical resource access and regain power in a digitally servitized supply chain. Finally, we offer managers guidance in establishing DPSS offerings by providing a comprehensive picture of the industrial supplier’s digital servitization journey.

37 Exploring learning processes associated with a cancer pain self-management intervention in patients and family caregivers: A mixed methods study
بررسی فرآیندهای یادگیری مرتبط با مداخله خود مدیریت سرطان در بیماران و مراقبت های خانوادگی: مطالعه یک روش ترکیبی -2021
Aim: Explore learning processes associated with a psychoeducational pain selfmanagement intervention. Background: Self-management of cancer pain is challenging for patients and their family caregivers (FCs). While psychoeducational interventions can support them to handle these tasks, it remains unclear how learning pro- cesses are hampered or facilitated. Methods: A convergent parallel mixed methods design with qualitative data collection embedded in a randomized controlled trial (RCT) was used. Outpatients with cancer and FCs were recruited from three Swiss university hospitals. The six-week intervention consisted of education, skills building, and nurse coaching. Quantitative data on pain management knowledge and self-efficacy were analyzed using multilevel models. Patients and FCs were interviewed post-RCT regarding their learning experiences. Qualitative data analysis was guided by interpretive description. Finally, quantitative and qualitative data were integrated using case level comparisons and a meta-matrix. Results: Twenty-one patients and seven FCs completed this study. The group-by-time effect showed increases in knowledge (p = 0.035) and self-efficacy (p = 0.007). Patients and FCs learning through experience was sup- ported by an intervention nurse, who was perceived as competent and trustworthy. After the study, most intervention group participants felt more confident to implement pain self-management. Finally, data integration showed that declining health hampered some patients pain self-management. Conclusions: Competent and trustworthy nurses can support patients and FCs pain self-management by providing individualized interventions. Using a diary, jointly reflecting on the documented experiences, and addressing knowledge deficits and misconceptions through the use of academic detailing can facilitate patients and FCs learning of critical skills.

38 Exploring smart construction objects as blockchain oracles in construction supply chain management
کاوش اشیا ساخت هوشمند به عنوان اوراکل بلاکچین در مدیریت زنجیره تأمین ساخت و ساز-2021
Blockchain technology has attracted the interest of the global construction industry for its potential to enhance the transparency, traceability, and immutability of construction data and enables collaboration and trust throughout the supply chain. However, such potential cannot be achieved without blockchain “oracles” needed to bridge the on-chain (i.e., blockchain system) and off-chain (i.e., real-life physical project) worlds. This study presents an innovative solution that exploits smart construction objects (SCOs). It develops a SCOs-enabled blockchain oracles (SCOs-BOs) framework. To instantiate this framework, the system architecture of a blockchain-enabled construction supply chain management (BCSCM) system is developed and validated using a case study, whereby four primary smart contracts are examined in the context of off-site logistics and on-site assembly services. The validation results show that accurate data is retrieved against malicious data in each request, and the corresponding reputation scores are successfully recorded. The innovativeness of the research lies in two aspects. In addition to mobilizing SCOs as blockchain oracles to bridge the on-chain and off-chain worlds, it develops a decentralized SCO network to avoid the single point of failure (SPoF) problem widely existing in blockchain systems. This study contributes to existing research and practice to harness the power of blockchain in construction.

39 Testing an instrument to measure the BPMS-KM Support model
تست ابزار برای اندازه گیری مدل پشتیبانی BPMS-KM-2021
BPMS (Business Process Management System) represents a type of software that automates the organizational processes looking for efficiency. Since the knowledge of organizations lies in their processes, it seems probable that a BPMS can be used to manage the knowledge applied in these processes. Through the BPMS-KM Support Model, this study aims to determine the reliability and validity of a 65-item instrument to measure the utility and the use of a BPMS for knowledge management (KM). A questionnaire was sent to 242 BPMS users and to determine its validity, a factorial analysis was conducted. The results showed that the measuring instrument is trustworthy and valid. It represents implications for research, since it provides an instrument validated for research on the success of a BPMS for KM. There would also be practical implications, since managers can evaluate the use of BPMS, in addition to automating processes to manage knowledge.

COVID-19 pandemic burdens forensic practice worldwide. The experience of crisis management is a lesson learned that guides future preparedness for similar casualties. Thus, the present study takes an in-depth look at the knowledge, attitude, and practice of forensic practitioners during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Arab world. A comprehensive questionnaire was adopted in compliance with optimum international standards for the management of deaths during the pandemic. The survey was electronically distributed in 13 Arab countries. The responses were received from 29 forensic practitioners from 11 countries. Total median knowledge, attitude, and practice scores of respondents constituted 37.9%, 74%, and 36.8% of optimum scores respectively. Regarding knowledge, better scores are related to risk assessment and routes of exposure to Coronavirus, whereas, least scores were related to ventilation and negative pressure system. Most of the participants had a positive attitude, 85.2% were concerned about proper management of COVID-19 deaths, and 77.8% trusted the decisions of their teams. Considering practice, better scores are related to forensic staff competence, whereas, least scores were related to the implementation of ideal safety measures. Participants described the management process as useful (52%), reliable (35%), high quality (21%), and cost-effective (17%), however, they expressed challenges as staff infection, limited resources, and infrastructure issues. This survey guides readjusting of procedures and future preparedness for similar disasters in the Arab world. This research adopted a questionnaire that could be used in initial and periodic assessments in any medicolegal institute worldwide. Also, it could support infrastructure projects and disaster management plans.
