1 A systematic review of technologies and solutions to improve security and privacy protection of citizens in the smart city

The development of smart cities through digital communications has improved citizens’ quality of life and well-being. In these cities, IoT technology generates vast amounts of data at any given time, which is analyzed to provide services to citizens. In the proper implementation of these cities, a critical challenge is the violation of citizens’ privacy and security, which leads to a lack of trust and pessimism toward the services of the smart city. To ensure citizens’ participation, smart city developers should adequately protect their security and privacy from gaining their trust. If citizens don’t want to participate, the main benefits of a smart city will be lost. This article presents a comprehensive review of smart city security issues and privacy. It provides a basis for categorizing current and future developments in this area and developing a thematic classifica- tion to highlight the requirements and security strategies for designing a smart and safe city. The paper identifies current security and privacy solutions and describes open research challenges and issues. An output of this study is a systematic map of literature on the subject that identifies critical concepts, evidence, challenges, solutions, and gaps. It summarizes the findings into a body of evidence that has previously been heterogeneous and complex.

2 Digitalization of the healthcare supply chain: A roadmap to generate benefits and effectively support healthcare delivery

The healthcare supply chain lags far behind supply chains in other industries in terms of performance and the deployment of best practices. Managers could bridge this gap and improve the performance of the healthcare supply chain by implementing digitalization initiatives. However, the erratic, disconnected digitalization of practices already deployed in the healthcare sector makes it difficult to maximize the potential of these initiatives. In order to generate the greatest benefits from digitalization while improving healthcare delivery, this article sets out a roadmap for implementing technologies. Unlike previous studies that focused on the entire supply chain or had been limited to patient flow, this study adopts the perspective of the hospital as a central launching point for digitalization initiatives. The roadmap, which involves both internal and external digitalization trajectories, is based on a research methodology that combines observations with an umbrella review of literature. This methodology enables us to capture the research challenges associated with the healthcare supply chain and show how digitalization initiatives can address them. The digitalization proposals put forward are structured in terms of priority and centered on hospitals. These proposals can help managers make improvements to the supply chain and also clinical flows.

3 Research on prepaid account financing model based on embedded system and Internet of Things

Internet of Things (IoT) network interconnection to create objects and things will play the Internet to play an active role in the global network in the future. For the Internet of Things, which is widely adopted through funding models, it must be trusted in the IoT security infrastructure. Efficiently and Securely IoT is very important to define how each other can communicate with remote servers and get Exchange account informa- tion. Prepayments for effective financial management and an important choice for financial IoT for service providers and customers. However, it must be supported by real-time credit checking and costing. Internet re- sources are consumed by these real-time action stuff providers and impose high costs on the old system. To solve this problem, to propose the K Means Algorithm scalable accounting solutions, where the user is hosted each occupies a prepaid account, constitute the components of embedded systems. Based on each of our prepaid billing components’ supervision, it is at the same time consumed by the embedded system of all services, based on the calculation of the service packages consumed by the customer. Prepaid accounts are reassigned when the customer had sufficient credit to supplement their use and are allocated based on IoT services’ consumption. This work aims to reduce the cost of pre-paid services and ensure that service delivery is not to interfere with the charging unit. Also, embedded systems’ theoretical and experimental analysis shows that this work can store long-lived services on the Internet of Things to provide inexpensive accounting solutions.

4 Evaluating Chinese government WeChat official accounts in public service delivery: A user-centered approach
ارزیابی حساب های رسمی دولت چین WeChat در ارائه خدمات عمومی: یک رویکرد کاربر محور-2021
WeChat official accounts have been increasingly adopted by Chinese government agencies to deliver public services, in response to the “Internet + Public Service” reformation. While previous studies depended heavily on the expert-oriented approach to evaluate the accounts, this paper presents a user-centered study based on a mixed methods research design in which an unobtrusive clickstream data analysis was complemented by a card sorting study, stakeholder interviews, and a focus group. A 2-month server log file containing 42,188,760 clickstream records was obtained from an active government WeChat official account and analyzed at the movement level, which found that the account was mainly used as a lookup tool with most services underutilized and its home portals failed to support effective wayfinding to needed services. Deficiencies in information ar- chitecture, operation strategy, and interaction design of the account were identified in the complementary studies. This study not only enriches the knowledge about social media use in the Chinese government for public service delivery, but also introduces innovative methods to generate new research insights. The findings can inform government WeChat official accounts of how to improve service quality and user experience.

5 AI-based self-service technology in public service delivery: User experience and influencing factors
فناوری سلف سرویس مبتنی بر هوش مصنوعی در ارائه خدمات عمومی: تجربه کاربر و عوامل تأثیرگذار-2020
Public sectors are utilizing AI-based self-service technology (SST) at an accelerating rate, given its potential for improving work efficiency and user experience, reducing service costs, and relieving human workloads. However, there is a limited understanding of the factors influencing citizens user experience when services supported by AI-based SST are provided. Thus, with insights from the Consumer Value Theory, this paper aims to explore the factors that are important to AI-based SST user experience and the conditional role of trust in government. The on-site survey of 379 citizens in a public service center in China indicates that user experience positively relates to personalization and aesthetics and negatively associates with perceived time spent on the AIbased self-service machines. In addition, the results suggest that citizens with more trust in government are more likely to have a pleasant experience coming from AI-based SSTs personalization and aesthetics. Public managers should ensure that the AI-based SST is aesthetically appealing and should be able to personalize the delivery of the right contents to the right person at the right time. Furthermore, they should always prioritize cultivating more trust from citizens to achieve a more positive user experience.

6 Integration of Big Data analytics embedded smart city architecture with RESTful web of things for efficient service provision and energy management

Emergence of smart things has revolutionized the conventional internet into a connected network of things, maturing the concept of Internet of Things (IoT). With the evolution of IoT, many attempts were made to realize the notion of smart cities. However, demands for processing enormous amount of data and platform incompatibilities of connected smart things hindered the actual implementation of smart cities. Keeping it in view, we proposed a Big Data analytics embedded smart city architecture, which is further integrated with the web via a smart gateway. Integration with the web provides a universal communication platform to overcome the platform incompatibilities of smart things. We introduced Big Data analytics to enhance data processing speed. Further, we evaluated authentic datasets to determine the threshold values for intelligent decision-making and to present the performance improvement gained in data processing. Finally, we presented a representational state transfer (RESTful) web of things (WoT) integrated smart building architecture (smart home) to reveal the performance improvements of the proposed smart city architecture in terms of network performance and energy management of smart buildings.

7 Education for the provision of technologically enhanced legal services

Legal professionals increasingly rely on digital technologies when they provide legal services. The most advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) promise great advancements of legal services, but lawyers are traditionally not educated in the field of digital technology and thus cannot fully unlock the potential of such technologies in their practice. In this paper, we identify five distinct skills and knowledge gaps that prevent lawyers from implementing AI and digital technology in the provision of legal services and suggest concrete models for education and training in this area. Our findings and recommendations are based on a series of semi-structured interviews, design and delivery of an experimental course in ‘Law and Computer Science’, and an analysis of the empirical data in view of wider debates in the literature concerning legal education and 21st century skills.

8 Security assessment of suppliers of telecommunications infrastructure for the provision of services in 5G technology

The process of commencing services based on 5G technology has begun. One condition for starting up 5G technology is the distribution of the frequencies required for the provision of those services. For the first time in the process of making frequencies available, require- ments have arisen pertaining to the security of the infrastructure necessary for the provision of those services. In the EU, recommendations have been drawn up, based in particular on an NISCG report entitled Cybersecurity of 5G networks EU Toolbox of risk mitigating measures. In this article, an analysis is made of the implementation of those recommendations concern- ing suppliers of infrastructure, based on examples from selected EU countries, in order to ensure that such assessments are objective and transparent. In some cases, the provisions implementing the recommendations do not fully protect the fundamental rights of the en- tities assessed as foreseen in EU and domestic law, particularly the right to a fair trial before an independent court. I propose certain changes in the regulations pertaining to suppliers of telecommunications equipment.

9 Improving diabetes care in the B.C. Southern Interior: Developing communityuniversity initiatives to address service gaps

Objectives: Diabetes rates in the British Columbia (B.C.) Interior are rising more rapidly 7 compared to the rest of Canada while diabetes service provision is limited within this region. The 8 purposes of this paper were (1) to identify characteristics of diabetes service delivery and (2) to 9 co-develop community-university diabetes research projects to address service barriers and gaps 10 in the B.C. Southern Interior across urban, rural, and Indigenous populations. 11 Methods: A three-step approach was used. In Step 1, a web search was conducted to identify 12 diabetes-related services. In Step 2, ten community members working or volunteering in diabetes 13 organizations participated in semi-structured telephone interviews pertaining to diabetes service 14 access, priorities, barriers, benefits, and gaps. In Step 3, a meeting of researchers and community 15 members (n=25) was held to foster collaboration and co-develop research projects. 16 Results: Seventy-eight urban, rural, and Indigenous diabetes-related services were identified in 17 the B.C. Southern Interior. Providing care to those with new type 1 diabetes and gestational 18 diabetes diagnoses was identified in the interviews as a key priority; the needs of these groups 19 contribute to a deficiency of resources to deliver prediabetes programs. The meeting produced 20 plans for two collaborative projects: (1) the development of a diabetes patient journey map and 21 (2) development of a diabetes service hub with navigators for patients. 22 Conclusion: Together, community members and researchers have identified service gaps and 23 formulated research projects to improve diabetes management for urban, rural, and Indigenous 24 Peoples living in the BC Southern Interior.

Airbnb (که یک وب سایت اینترنتی برای ارائه خدمات گردشگری و مهمانداری می باشد) دربین محققان و دانشمندان حوزه گردشگری و مهمانداری مورد بحث های شدید و پُرحرارت قرار گرفته است. به منظور درک تاثیر به اشتراک گذاری P2P روی چشم انداز گردشگری و مهمانداری، ابتدا فهمیدن جزئیات این بازار حائز اهمیت است. بنابراین در این مقاله ما توسعه بازار Airbnb را درطی هفت سال گذشته در پاریس که محبوب ترین مقصد گردشگری برای مهمانان Airbnb با بیش از 40000 اجاره نامه اقامتی می باشد بررسی می کنیم. این یادداشت تحقیقی یک خلاصه ای از یافته ها ما درباره بازار پاریس می باشد. مطالعه ما الگوهای مختلف رشد و فصلی بودن برای Airbnb و هتلها ونیز بی شباهتی های موجود در مکان جغرافیایی آنها را نشان می دهد. یافته ها بیانگر این هستند که دو محصول در رقابت مستقیم باهم نیستند و رابطه آنها ممکن است پیچیده تر از آن چیزی باشد که قبلا" تصور می شد. ما اعتقاد داریم که بررسی ماهیت رابطه رقابتی می تواند یک مسیر ارزشمند برای بررسی بیشتر باشد.
