Learning Quantum Drift-Diffusion Phenomenon by Physics-Constraint Machine Learning

detect physical phenomena and has obtained encouraging results.
Several works have shown that it can learn quantum phenomenon. Subsequently, quantum machine learning (QML) has
been paid more attention by academia and industry. Quantum
drift-diffusion (QDD) is a commonplace physical phenomenon,
which is a macroscopic description of electrons and holes in
a semiconductor. They are commonly used to attain an understanding of the property of semiconductor devices in physics
and engineering. We are motivated by the relaxation-time limit
from the quantum-Navier-Stokes-Poisson system (QNSP) to the
QDD equation and the existence of finite energy weak solutions
to the QDD equation has been proved. Therefore, in this work,
the quantum drift-diffusion learning neural network (QDDLNN)
is proposed to investigate the quantum drift phenomena from
limited observations. Furthermore, a piece of numerical evidence
is found that the NNs can describe quantum transport phenomena by simulating the quantum confinement transport equationquantum Navier-Stokes equation.

Face mask recogniser using image processing and computer vision approach
تشخیص ماسک صورت با استفاده از پردازش تصویر و رویکرد بینایی کامپیوتری-2022 The world saw a health crisis with the onset of the COVID-19 virus outbreak. The mask has been identified as
the most efficient way to prevent the spread of virus [1]. This has driven the necessity for a face mask recogniser
that not only detects the presence of a mask but also gives the accuracy to which a person is wearing the face
mask. Also, the face mask should be recognised in all angles as well. The goal of this study is to create a new
and improved real time face mask recogniser using image processing and computer vision approach. A Kaggle
dataset which consisted of images with and without masks was used. For the purpose of this study a pre-trained
convolutional neural network Mobile Net V2 was used. The performance of the given model was assessed. The
model presented in this paper can detect the face mask with 98% precision. This Face mask recogniser can effi-
ciently detect the face mask in side wise direction which makes it more useful. A comparison of the performance
metrics of the existing algorithms is also presented. Now with the spread of the infectious variant OMICRON, it

Pauli Error Propagation-Based Gate Rescheduling for Quantum Circuit Error Mitigation
برنامه ریزی مجدد گیت مبتنی بر انتشار خطا پاولی برای کاهش خطای مدار کوانتومی-2022 Noisy intermediate-scale quantum algorithms, which run on noisy quantum computers, should
be carefully designed to boost the output state fidelity. While several compilation approaches have been
proposed to minimize circuit errors, they often omit the detailed circuit structure information that does
not affect the circuit depth or the gate count. In the presence of spatial variation in the error rate of the
quantum gates, adjusting the circuit structure can play a major role in mitigating errors. In this article, we
exploit the freedom of gate reordering based on the commutation rules to show the impact of gate error
propagation paths on the output state fidelity of the quantum circuit, propose advanced predictive techniques
to project the success rate of the circuit, and develop a new compilation phase postquantum circuit mapping
to improve its reliability. Our proposed approaches have been validated using a variety of quantum circuits
with different success metrics, which are executed on IBM quantum computers. Our results show that
rescheduling quantum gates based on their error propagation paths can significantly improve the fidelity
of the quantum circuit in the presence of variable gate error rates.

LAMD: Location-based Alert Message Dissemination scheme for emerging infrastructure-based vehicular networks

emergency event, Vehicular Ad-hoc NETworks (VANETs) were considered as the most adapted
communication network to support alert messages dissemination. With the advent of Cooperative ITS services, emerging vehicular networks are expected to increasingly rely on Vehicle
to Infrastructure (V2I) communication links, which are expected to be nominally available,
with some transient and time-limited connectivity losses. The presence of V2I links paves
the way to centralized network control, which can leverage vehicle-related and contextual
information provided by the cloud to make more informed decisions. This paper proposes an
effective alert message dissemination procedure called LAMD (Location-based Alert Messages
Dissemination) for emerging vehicular networks that combines V2I broadcasts with selected V2V
(Vehicle to Vehicle) rebroadcasts. The originality of our scheme lies in the selection process of
V2V rebroadcasts, which is based on vehicles’ location regarding predefined rebroadcast points
selected by a centralized controller. This leads to very limited collisions, low delivery delays,
and high information coverage with insignificant signaling and network overhead compared to
legacy VANET based dissemination techniques.

Publish–Subscribe approaches for the IoT and the cloud: Functional and performance evaluation of open-source systems

typical system comprises the publisher, the subscriber, and the broker but, may also feature
message queues, databases, clusters, or federations of brokers, apply message delivery policies,
communication protocols, security services, and a streaming API. Not all these features are
supported by all systems or, others may be optional. As a result, there is no common ground
for the comparison of Publish–Subscribe systems. This paper presents a critical survey and
taxonomy of Publish–Subscribe systems, of their design features and technologies. The concepts
of message queuing, publish–subscribe systems, and publish–subscribe protocols for the cloud
and the IoT are discussed and clarified. The respective evaluation is about seven state-of-the-art
open-source systems namely, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Orion-LD, Scorpio, Stellio, Pushpin, and
Faye. For the sake of fair comparison, a minimum set of common features is identified in all
systems. All systems are evaluated and compared in terms of functionality and performance
under real-case scenarios.

Smart mask – Wearable IoT solution for improved protection and personal health

envision the Smart Mask, an IoT supported platform and ecosystem aiming to prevent and control
the spreading of COVID-19 and other respiratory viruses. The integration of sensing, materials,
AI, wireless, IoT, and software will help the gathering of health data and health-related event
detection in real time from the user as well as from their environment. In the larger scale, with the
help of AI-based analysis for health data it is possible to predict and decrease medical costs with
accurate diagnoses and treatment plans, where the comparison of personal data to large-scale
public data enables drawing up a personal health trajectory, for example. Key research prob-
lems for smart respiratory protective equipment are identified in addition to future research di-
rections. A Smart Mask prototype was developed with accompanying user application, backend

Developing a two-stage model for a sustainable closed-loop supply chain with pricing and advertising decisions
در حال توسعه یک مدل دو مرحله ای برای یک زنجیره تامین حلقه بسته پایدار با تصمیمات قیمت گذاری و تبلیغات-2021 Closed-Loop Supply Chain (CLSC) has become a critical problem due to its effects on various factors including economic motivations, environmental concerns, and social impacts. Moreover, there are coordination tools, such as pricing and advertising, which impact its performance. In this paper, we offer a two-stage approach to model and solve a sustainable CLSC, taking into account pricing, green quality, and advertising. In the first stage, optimal decisions on pricing, greening, and advertising are made, while in the second stage, a fuzzy multi- objective Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) model is used to maximize the total profit, reduce CO2 emissions, and improve social impacts. Suitable solution methods are introduced according to the scale of the problem. For small-scale instances, an augmented ϵ-constraint method is used to solve the problem. For large-scale instances, approximations are required, and a Lagrangian relaxation algorithm solves the problem in polynomial time. The performance of the proposed model is evaluated through various numerical examples. The results illustrate the applicability and efficiency of the model, while confirming significant improvements in sustainable objectives under optimal pricing, green quality, and advertising. Besides, the proposed Lagrangian relaxation method significantly reduces the computational time for large-scale instances, with only a 2.308% deviation from the optimal results. Translation, hegemony and accounting: A critical research framework with an illustration from the IFRS context

lation for international accounting communication, but only recently started to discuss the
relevance and legitimacy of the approaches in which translation is used and studied. Generally,
translation in accounting has been seen as a technically challenging task that serves an assumedly
neutral functional purpose. This perception is problematic in that it neglects the multifaceted
cultural, political and societal implications of translation. In order to expand the theoretical
repertoire of translation research in accounting, this paper introduces a critical lens that questions
the seemingly neutral use of translation in various contexts. Drawing on the influential work of
translation theorist Lawrence Venuti, it is argued that translation both reveals and factors in
intercultural hegemonies, imbalances and asymmetries. To explore the relevance of Venuti’s
theorizing for accounting, the context of IFRS translation is examined. Attempting to become a
global institution across cultures and languages, the IFRS indeed depend on translation in their
diffusion. The IFRS context is, however, embedded in current linguistic and cultural hegemonies:
the dominant position of the English language and the canonical role of Anglo-American ac-
counting. Combining a critical theoretical conceptualization and empirical data from the trans-
lation work of Finnish-language IFRS, this paper illustrates how translation in accounting is not a
technical exercise but can entail linguistic and cultural conflicts between dominant and marginal
(ized) concepts, traditions and values. Above all, this paper shows how applying a different
