1 Never the twain shall meet? Knowledge strategies for digitalization in healthcare

This paper explores the formation of knowledge strategies in digitalization of healthcare organizations. Adopting a case study design, we investigate how divergent professional groups including the management team, healthcare professionals and IT engineers in a Chinese hospital come together to develop coherent knowledge strategies during its digital transformation. The findings reveal four phases by which the interplays between the professional groups shaped the knowledge strategies. We systematically analyze the drivers, formation processes and outcomes of the knowledge strategies. Based on the findings, we propose four lessons that may help pro- fessional organizations at different stages of digitalization structure knowledge strategies that can stimulate knowledge creation, application, and synthesis. The study advances the understanding of knowledge strategy by emphasizing the interactions between diversified professional groups and the integration of different types of knowledge in achieving organizational goals. It also sheds light on the complexity and dynamics of knowledge strategy in the digitalization process of knowledge-intensive organizations.

2 Knowledge Management – The Foundation for a Successful Business Process Management

In today’s dynamic business environment, organizations need up-to-date knowledge to execute their business in the best way. Through the ongoing digitalization and linked communities, companies and businesses, changing parameters as well as varying business framework conditions must be analyzed fast as possible to optimize the processes and gain the best direction for the own company. Therefore, organization use Business Process Management (BPM) to model and manage the existing processes. To perform BPM and optimize processes, data and information there have to be developed a knowledge inventory regarding all processes in order to model the organizational processes together with the required resources. In the following paper, this necessary knowledge process will be analyzed as foundation to perform BPM regarding the known BPM Trends. In addition, the relevance of digitalization will be matched to the Knowledge Management and BPM approach to underline the importance of the correct data and information as BPM infrastructure. Therefore, the mandatory terms will be defined and described theoretically. This literature research will be the starting basis for the approach and following scientific research. To evaluate the KM-BPM Model a survey with different companies has been developed. The research results will contributed to a combined Knowledge and BPM approach for the application in the business in times of digitalization.

3 Digitalization as a catalyst for lean production: A learning factory approach for digital shop floor management

Digitalization and Industry 4.0 have a strong impact on today’s production environment. The established methods of lean production are also affected and can be further improved through new technologies. The following paper addresses how and whether digitalization enhances shop floor management (SFM) as a key element of the philosophy of lean production. Based on the Darmstadt shop floor management model, it will be discussed where digitalization is expected to be value-adding or bearing risks in which elements of SFM and how the transition to a digital system opens up new possibilities. The potential of digital SFM systems are evaluated through a literature review and interviews with experts. Based on the results a digital SFM prototype is evaluated and further developed and applied to the learning factory Center for industrial Productivity (CiP) and its underlying process control system. The versatile environment of the learning factory is consequently being used for evaluation of digital SFM in different working situations like manual labor or machining.

4 Digital Inheritance Strategy of Intangible Cultural Heritage and Big Data Model - Taking the Southern Liaoning Province as an Example

Digital protection of intangible cultural heritage creates conditions for the sustainable development of national culture. The digital protection of southern Liaoning intangible cultural heritage is still in the stage of development, and the protection and inheritance of the intangible cultural heritage is facing new challenges and opportunities. The digital protection technologies of intangible cultural heritage and balance of regional cultural ecology are explored. In addition, a new discipline of digital intangible cultural heritage is established for strengthening strategic and interdisciplinary research. Whats more, a set of scientific operation and management mechanism of digital protection of intangible cultural heritage is gradually formed.

5 Servitization, digitization and supply chain interdependency
خدماتی سازی، دیجیتالی شدن و وابستگی متقابل زنجیره تامین-2017
This study draws on literature at the intersection of servitization, digital business models and supply chain man agement. Work empirically explores how digital disruption has affected Business-to-Business (B2B) interdepen dencies. Dematerialization of physical products is transforming the way firms are positioned in the supply chain due to a reduction in production and transport costs and the different ways business engage with customers. Spe cifically, we propose that these new market conditions can empower downstream firms. We further propose that upstream firms can still capture additional value through digital service if their servitized offer includes difficult to imitate elements. The context of the analysis is the publishing industry. The Payment Card method employed is used to test UK and US consumers perceptions of digital formats (eBooks) and assess their willingness to pay in relation to printed formats. The method undertaken enables us to elicit aggregated consumer demand for eBooks which in turn identifies optimal pricing strategies for the digital services. Analysis demonstrates that during dig ital servitization upstream firms should seek to deploy unique resources to ensure their strategic position in the supply chain is not diminished.
