Empowering seizure management skills: Knowledge, attitudes, and experiences of school staff trained in administering rescue drugs in Northern Italy

In this case, since the parents are
absent, the first rescuer is necessarily the school staff, who should be properly trained because prolonged
seizures can cause severe harm and even death.
Methods: Every year, the Local Health Unit ‘‘TO3” in Northern Italy, provides training for school staff to administrate rescue medication at school. From December 2019 to February 2020, the same questionnaire was administered to school staff trained for seizures at the end of the course, while the staff trained for other diseases completed it before the course. Results: About 60% of the sample (N = 123) had been trained in seizure management at least once in their lifetime. Median knowledge score in subjects with no seizures training was 7 (Q25/Q75: 5/8), while it was 9 (Q25/Q75: 6/10) in subjects with seizures training (p < 0.001). The self-reported level of confidence in their skills to administer rescue medication was high in 10.2% of subjects not trained for seizures and in 62.9% of those trained (p < 0.001). Conclusion: Results suggest that medical training for school staff increases knowledge scores and levels of self-confidence relating to the administration of rescue medication. Knowledge management in two universities before and during the COVID-19 effect in Peru
مدیریت دانش در دو دانشگاه قبل و در طول اثر Covid-19 در پرو-2021 Knowledge management evaluation is an important and complex problem in Peruvian universities. An efficient
policy in knowledge management is a critical success factor and will also advance teaching and research.
Likewise, innovation is a key resource for the well-being of national economies and international competitive
advantage, especially with COVID-19 9 restrictions. This research article has demonstrated that an assessment of
knowledge management (KM) capability in two private universities could be used for an efficient policy, in order
to obtain the best result in knowledge management maturity. Having discussed how to construct a model for KM,
the final section of this paper addresses ways of the incorporation of this technology in the society. The case study
has been developed in Lima, associated to two universities with 271 teachers and 5928 students; with this model
could be used for KM assessment in all university in Peru. This study uses the “Intellectus Model, Mejia model
organizational knowledge capability areas and Knowledge Management Capability Assessment (KMCA) model
for the assessment, before and during COVID-19. Our findings have demonstrated the university performance
and challenges associated to knowledge management during COVID-19, the new policy for virtual instructions
and digital transformation of the educational process have improved the cost efficiencies. However, this system
also has a number of serious drawbacks and challenges in innovation, researching, connections with industry and
academy; this 2021 requires a new perspective in innovation with a knowledge management scheme in Peruvian

Socialization of business students in ethical issues: The role of individuals’ attitude and institutional factors
Socialization of business students in ethical issues_ The role of individuals’ attitude and institutional factors-2020 This study focuses on the socialization of business students on ethical issues. To this end, we explore personal and institutional factors that influence the acquisition of business ethics com- petences. Drawing on the case of the European higher education framework, we analyse data from questionnaires about the experience of 599 undergraduates studying Business Management at a European university. The results show that a favourable attitude of business students towards ethics competences has a positive effect on their acquisition of such competences. Moreover, the study reveals that favourable perceptions of the teachers ethical leadership and the Universitys ethical climate are relevant institutional factors in the effective acquisition of business ethics competences. The findings also reveal that the Universitys ethical climate positively moderates the relationship between individuals attitude towards business ethics competences and their acquisition of such competences. This research sheds light on the need to study the influence of informal socialization mechanisms in business ethics competences development, in particular, the “hidden curricula” acquired via students perception of teachers ethical leadership and university ethical values. Predicting academic performance with Artificial Intelligence (AI), a new tool for teachers and students

measurement, collection, and analysis of learners’ data
and their context. In this research we utilized two
algorithms from the field of artificial intelligence (AI): KNearest
Neighbor and Random Forest. These algorithms
trained a predictive model for the academic performance
of students pursuing an engineering degree. This research
found that a general picture of the performance of the
group is enough to improve, despite the forecast for each
student not being accurate. This allowed the instructor to
adapt their teaching technique to get better results.
Finally, most students agree to take advantage of LA and
they think that knowing their predictive results at the

Is education for all? The experiences of ethnic minority students and teachers in North-western Vietnam engaging with social entrepreneurship

analysed using thematic analysis, drawing from Fraser’s (2010) justice model. The paper also links to
Granovetter’s (1985, 2005) social embeddedness concept, to emphasise how social enterprise enabled socioeconomic networks can support ethnic minority students to overcome redistribution, representation and recognition problems. The paper makes an original contribution by showing how socio-economic networks enhance weak-ties and bridge resources to empower the socially disadvantaged to achieve educational inclusion. Entrepreneurship education and teacher training in Rwanda
آموزش کارآفرینی و آموزش معلمان در رواندا-2019 In Rwanda, 72 percent of employed youth work for family firms or are self-employed. These outcomes suggest
that schools may be failing to develop the skills required to enter formal sector jobs or grow small firms. In
response, Rwanda reformed its required upper secondary entrepreneurship course by introducing interactive
pedagogy and a focus on business skills. Merely mandating adoption of a new curriculum may be insufficient for
teachers to implement it effectively, however. This study examines how comprehensive teacher training affects
the delivery of the reformed entrepreneurship curriculum. Schools were randomly selected for two years of
intensive teacher training and support. A control group received the curriculum and the standard government
training only. We will measure the interventions impact on teacher pedagogy, student skills, and student economic
outcomes. Results will contribute to knowledge on supporting pedagogical change in a setting where such

Teacher quality and student achievement in Chile: Linking teachers contribution and observable characteristics
کیفیت معلم و موفقیت دانش آموز در شیلی: ارتباط دادن سهم معلمان و ویژگی های قابل مشاهده-2018 While there is wide consensus regarding the importance of quality of teachers in student achievement; yet, accounting for teacher effects remain a puzzling task. In Chile, research on teacher quality has predominantly relied on cross-sectional data, and largely focused on identifying teacher attributes related to teaching quality. Only have few studies addressed the problem of non-random assignment of students to teachers. This paper attempts to fill these gaps. On the basis of pseudo-longitudinal data for 2011 from the Education Quality Measurement System and teachers’ administrative records, we employed value-added and fixed-effect models correcting for sorting-bias, to assess the overall contribution of teachers to student achievement and identify which teacher characteristics enhance teacher effectiveness. We find that teacher contribution to students’ learning in mathematics and language is very significant. In addition, teaching experience has a significant non-linear impact on test scores in math but not in reading. Both junior and senior teachers are effective in the educational system. We discuss the policy implications and limitations of these results.
