Digital interoperability in logistics and supply chain management: state-of-the-art and research avenues towards Physical Internet

because of the trends of cooperation or coopetition. Especially, digital interoperability concerning data
or information exchange becomes a key enabler for the next evolutions that will massively rely upon
digitalization, artificial intelligence, and autonomous systems. The notion of Physical Internet (PI) is one
such evolution, an innovative worldwide logistic paradigm aimed at interconnecting and coordinating
logistics networks for efficiency and sustainability. This paper investigates how digital interoperability
can help interconnect logistics and supply networks as well as the operational solutions for sustainable
development, and examines the new challenges and research opportunities for digital interoperability
under the PI paradigm. To this end, we study the most relevant technologies for digital interoperability in LSCM, via a bibliometric analysis based on 208 papers published during 2010−2020. The results
reveal that the present state-of-the-art solutions of digital interoperability are not fully aligned with PI
requirements and show new challenges, research gaps and opportunities that need further discussion.
Accordingly, several research avenues are suggested to advance research and applications in this area,

The role of digital innovation in knowledge management systems: A systematic literature review
نقش نوآوری دیجیتال در سیستم های مدیریت دانش: مرور ادبیات سیستماتیک-2021 This article investigates the literary corpus on digital innovation in knowledge management systems (KMS) to
understand its role in business governance.
The study introduces a broad survey of the scientific literature on this topic to understand how digital
innovation promotes new business models through the optimization of new knowledge.
We carried out a bibliometric analysis on a database, including 46 articles published in the last three decades
(1990–2020). All the articles were written in English.
The results show that research published on the topic reveals interesting implications for business models and
business performance. These findings especially highlight the links between innovation and sustainability,
revealing that digital transformation tools contribute over the long-term to the value creation process. This
research contributes to the existing literature analyzing the KMS topic by considering it from the digital inno-
vation processes perspective, pointing out the need to implement new knowledge creation and to share measures

Past, present, and future of knowledge management for business sustainability
گذشته، حال، و آینده مدیریت دانش برای پایداری کسب و کار-2021 Knowledge management has gained increasing importance and immense research interest for its promise in
advancing sustainability. Despite its proliferation in the literature, little is known about the research profile of
knowledge management research intertwined with sustainability. Given this gap, this article aims to conduct an
extensive review of knowledge management for sustainability research. Using bibliometrics, which is suitable for
large-scale reviews, this article reviews 1136 documents published in peer-reviewed journals indexed in the Web
of Science between 2001 and 2021. Noteworthily, the review sheds light on the performance of research con-
stituents (e.g., most prolific authors, countries, institutions, and journals), as well as the themes and topics
underpinning the intellectual structure (i.e., knowledge foundation, knowledge creation) in the field. Specif-
ically, the review reveals that knowledge management for sustainability research has relied on nine foundational
clusters (i.e., informed sustainability practice, social network, firm performance, knowledge sharing culture,
green innovation, sustainability assessment framework, global warming, knowledge management, and innova-
tive performance) to generate new knowledge across 10 thematic clusters, (i.e., ecological knowledge, green
innovation, the Shanghai Hongqiao district effect, the Agroscope Research Master Plan, food security, sustainable
supply chain management, business sustainability, knowledge creation, knowledge management, and technology
management). The article concludes with a new theory that encapsulates extant understanding of knowledge

Analyzing the intellectual structure of research on simulation-based learning in management education, 1960–2019: A bibliometric review
تجزیه و تحلیل ساختار فکری تحقیق در مورد یادگیری مبتنی بر شبیه سازی در آموزش مدیریت ، 1960-2019: یک مرور کتابشناختی-2020 Purpose: This review used science mapping to document and analyze the use of simulation-based learning in management education.Design: The authors used bibliometric tools to analyze 1200 relevant Scopus-indexed documents published between 1960 and 2019. Descriptive statistics, co-citation analysis and co-word analysis were employed in this quantitative review.Findings: The review found a rapidly growing publication trajectory with 81% of documents published since 2000 and 57% since 2010. While this literature is worldwide in scope, publications authored in Anglo-American-European societies accounted for 85% of this corpus. Topical analysis verified that simulation-based learning is being used to teach a wide range of functional management subjects. Co-citation analysis identified four‘schools of thought’ that define the intellectual structure of this literature: Theoretical Foundations of Simulation-Based Learning, Simulation-BasedLearning in Business Education, Organizational Theory and Complex Systems, Simulation-Based Learning in the Professions.Implications: The review highlights the need for programmatic research which examines the design and instructional use of management simulations across different cultural contexts. In a global management education context, greater attention needs to be given the ‘portability’ of the underlying theories and decision rules that underlie simulations. More attention should also be given to the use of simulations in management fields outside of business education.Originality/value: The review empirically affirms the impact that theories of human learning have had on the design and use of simulation-based learning and highlights the importance of framing the lessons drawn from simulations when used across different cultural contexts.1. |

Intellectual evolution of social innovation: A bibliometric analysis and avenues for future research trends
تکامل فکری نوآوری اجتماعی: تجزیه و تحلیل کتابشناختی و راههایی برای روند تحقیقات آینده-2020 Despite the fact that the concept of social innovation is extensively employed by scholars and practitioners, yet the conceptualisation and the research structure remained fragmented and scattered, because no rigorous attempt has been made to understand the core concept of social innovation. The notion of social innovation is multi- faceted and multi-disciplinary fluctuating from public-policy to environmental sustainability; which makes an investigation of the concept essential for business-to-business practitioners and scholars. By processing 370 publications from a sample of 125 journals and books with a total of 2941 citations, the authors unpack/unfold the intellectual foundation of social innovation in business and management domains by performing four bibliometric analyses and they evaluate the research domain qualitatively (1970–2019). By using co-citation, network visualisation through co-occurrence data, multi-dimensional scaling, and hierarchical cluster analysis, this research sheds light to the intellectual structure of social innovation including social value, economic value, societal impact, and bifocal innovations. This research reveals the key research clusters embodied by social innovation foundation. The present study identifies four important components for the future avenues of social innovation (i.e. opportunity, innovation practice, opportunity exploiter, value), and proposes a potential research framework to the researchers and practitioners, hoping to provide insights on social innovation. Industrial marketing management: Bibliometric overview since its foundation
مدیریت بازاریابی صنعتی: مروری بر کتابشناسی از زمان تأسیس آن-2020 Industrial Marketing Management (IMM) is an outstanding journal in the field of business-to-business marketing. This paper focuses on this journal, with an extensive bibliometric analysis of IMM from its foundation in 1971 to 2017, the last year analyzed in this study. It identifies, among others, the annual evolution of publications, the most influential countries, the most relevant authors, the most prominent institutions supporting research, as well as the citations of IMM papers in major marketing, but also other, business and management journals. To do so, this research uses the Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus databases, and analyzes a wide range of bibliometric indicators, including the total number of publications and citations, citations per paper, the h-index, m-value and citation thresholds, and also develops a graphical analysis of the bibliographical material using the visualization of similarities (VOS) viewer software. Finally, by applying a cluster analysis by fractional ac- counting, this research identifies trends and proposes future topics and research lines, such as: trust, innovation, performance, relationship marketing, the future role of new technologies in industrial marketing research, online marketing and corporate image. Forty-five years of Journal of Business Research: A bibliometric analysis
چهل و پنج سال مجله تحقیقات بازرگانی: یک تحلیل کتابشناختی-2020 Journal of Business Research (JBR) is a journal of international repute that publishes original, peer-reviewed, and empirical research in business and management. Key business decisions, processes, and activities within real business settings frequently feature in JBR articles. The journal reached its 45th year of publishing in 2017. Using bibliometric techniques, we analyze the journal’s impact, its prominent topics, and its most prolific au- thors, including their affiliated institutions and countries. Using network analysis in VOSviewer software, we group JBR publications into six clusters. Through Gephi software, the findings depict the co-authorship and bibliographic couplings of authors and their affiliated institutions and countries, co-citations of journals, and co- occurrence of author-specified keywords. Scenarios in business and management: The current stock and research opportunities
سناریوها در تجارت و مدیریت: سهام موجود و فرصت های تحقیقاتی-2020 The scenario technique is widely used to cope with uncertainties plan for alternate future situations. The extensive research led to a scattered literature landscape. To organize the field quantitatively, we conduct bibliometric performance analyses and a bibliographic coupling analysis. Results show an increased interest in scenario research since 2009 and clear distinctions between strategic and operational as well as methodological and applied research. Future research can be expected to further enhance the method towards robust decision making and to combine it with methods searching for most likely scenarios, such as prediction markets, crowdsourcing, and super forecasting. Additionally, cognitive and behavioral aspects of using the scenario technique might draw further attention. The scenario technique is expected to be applied across all industries and will probably play an increasing role in currently underrepresented business functions such as marketing and innovation. A bibliometric review of a decade of research: Big data in business research – Setting a research agenda
بررسی کتابشناختی یک دهه تحقیق: داده های بزرگ در تحقیقات تجاری - تنظیم دستور کار تحقیق-2020 The last several years have witnessed a surge of interest in artificial intelligence (AI). As the foundation of AI technologies, big data has attracted attention of researchers. Big data and data science have been recognized as new tools and methodologies for developing theories in business research (George, 2014). While several qual- itative reviews have been conducted, there is still a lack of a quantitative and systematic review of big data in business research. Our review study fills this gap by depicting the development of big data in business research using bibliometric methods, such as publication counts and trends analysis, co-citation analysis, co-authorship analysis and keywords co-occurrence analysis. Based on the sample of 1366 primary focal articles and 55,718 secondary references, we visualize the landscape and evolution of big-data business research and capture the developmental trajectory and trends over time (between 2008 and 2018). Furthermore, based on our analyses, we provide several promising directions for future research. In doing so, we provide scholars with a systematic understanding of the development and panoramic roadmap of big data research in business.
